La cabina Waystone si trova nel cuore di Island Park (nella zona del Mack Inn), e si trova a soli 20 miglia da West Yellowstone e Yellowstone National Park.

Questa cabina accogliente è ideale per grandi feste e piccoli incontri simili. Come si cammina nella porta d'ingresso, si vedrà una grande cucina completamente attrezzata con tutto il necessario per rimanere e stare bene (compresi utensili, pentole e padelle, piatti, e una Keurig). Nel centro della cucina è una grande isola che può ospitare sei, rendendolo un luogo perfetto per cucinare, mangiare e parlare.

La prossima è il soggiorno. È dotato di un enorme sezionale e un "HDTV 65 con più di 100 canali da DishNetwork. C'è anche una zona soggiorno supplementare con una libreria piena di libri, giochi e film per il vostro divertimento.

La cabina comprende anche internet-con alta velocità di dati illimitato! È possibile eseguire lo streaming, il surf, e guardare al contenuto del vostro cuore.

Sempre al piano principale è un bagno completo (doccia e vasca - shampoo e balsamo sono sempre disponibile) e una lavanderia / fango con una lavatrice e asciugatrice. Si può togliere gli stivali e vestiti da neve qui dopo una lunga giornata sulle piste o lavare il costume da bagno dopo l'assunzione di un tuffo o galleggianti lungo il vicino Fork River di Henry (solo un isolato di distanza)!

Mentre si cammina su per le scale, si arriva ad una seconda zona soggiorno con divano letto matrimoniale e un secondo HDTV, con DishNetwork e un lettore DVD. Questo è un ottimo posto per i bambini a prendere un po 'di tranquillità, mentre gli adulti sala al piano terra.

Al piano superiore ci sono quattro camere da letto: tre letti queen size e un letto king size. C'è anche un pacchetto 'n play culla portatile per tutti i bambini nel gruppo e materassini per i più piccoli a dormire sul pavimento.

Ci sono entrambi i mazzi e balconi anteriore e posteriore off ogni stanza perfetta posti da bere il caffè del mattino e guardare per la fauna selvatica (spesso vediamo cervi, alci e uccelli, con l'orso occasionale e avvistamenti volpe).

La cabina è su un acro pieno di terra, tenervi appartata dai vicini. Ma è ancora a due minuti di auto di una stazione di benzina / C-store. E Big Springs (un must se siete in zona) è a soli quattro miglia di distanza.

A great place!

We were a group of 8 and enjoyed every minute of our stay! There is plenty of room in the house, many facilities, books, dvd, and the fireplace is just wonderful. The house is very clean and has all you need. We were sad to leave.

Great option for large groups

The cabin has a great open layout downstairs to gather as a large group. It was pretty stocked with all your basic items like soap,(although we did run out and had no backup to replace one) shampoo, pots, pans, bowls, etc. I appreciated this, so that we didn't have to pack as much for the trip. The kids had fun exploring the land area around the cabin. Overall, we had such a pleasant experience at this cabin that we would recommend it to anyone else.

I would stay again

Our stay was most enjoyable. The location was close to all the places we wanted to snowmobile to. A cozy home that was down to basics was just perfect for us. It is open space downstairs which made it wonderful for our large group. The kitchen was large and easy to work in. Not having a dishwasher was fine for us. It was more natural. The large back windows gave us sight to the beautiful scenery with all the snow. We did have trouble with the heat upstairs. We would plug in the heaters and the circut breaker kept tripping. Because of that, we had two rooms that were very cold. Meghan was great to work with and answered all of my e-mails very promptly. Overall, our stay was great and we would stay there again.

Large, affordable, comfortable

We enjoyed our stay at this home located 30 minutes outside Yellowstone. The home is on a larger lot with lots of trees and the possibility of wildlife - very quiet! Kitchen was well stocked - loved the Keurig. No dishwasher - but not a problem this trip since we had plenty of hands to wash dishes! Response time from the manager is awesome! Some observations: Bath towels were looking kind of dingy and were not soft (not a hardship - just an observation). There was only conditioner available in the showers - no shampoo. Also - the instruction binder needs to be updated. Some of the instructions (regarding dumping the trash) are out of date and caused a bit of concern. However, a quick call to the manager rectified the issue and all was fine. It may sound like an inconvenience to have to go to the dump with your trash but it really is a simple task. Dumps is close by and the task is a snap. Overall a good value for a family or group looking to explore Yellowstone or the Island Park area. Close enough to see it all... yet far enough away to be away from the bustle and relax!

Great Family Gathering Cabin

This cabin was well equipped for a family gathering. Planning is necessary since the cabin is located in a remote place, with few options for buying what is needed. The cabin is well equipped for cooking your own meals, the sleeping arrangements are comfortable, and there is plenty of space for everyone. The host is very responsive when a problem occurs. while we were there, Yellowstone National Park closed because of flooding, so we were left with finding alternative activities. The cabin environment helped us deal with the change in plans and all went well for our family of 11. We would love to come back in the future.

Perfect location to visit Yellowstone!

The house was even better than it looked in the pictures. We had 6 adults and 4 kids, ages 8-15. The space was perfect, beds were comfy, and only a quick 20 min drive to the West Yellowstone entrance. Had everything we needed for our 4 night stay! The only negative thing we experienced was dirty dishes from the previous guest. It looked like they had just rinsed the dishes and put them away, we had to wash a lot of them before using. All in all, fantastic place!! Highly recommend if you’re looking for a quiet stay for your family near Yellowstone!

Our family had a pleasant stay at this property. It was very clean, and had everything you would need to cook a decent meal. It was nestled in the woods, and was very quiet and pretty. It was a short drive to Yellowstone where we spent most of our time.

Great Place

Overall a great place. Had everything we needed in the kitchen. Was cleaner than most VRBOs we have stayed in. The counters didn’t feel very clean when we arrived and all had to be cleaned off. Other than that it was great. Great location and lots to do close by and farther away.

The house it’s self is nice. We had a power outage one night and couldn’t figure out which power company to contact. The owner and caretaker never returned our calls (ended up being a local outage). It’s spacious and just far enough away from Yellowstone to distance from crowds.

Fun cabin!

We loved staying here! Felt like staying in a family cabin. Lots of places to sleep. Kitchen had everything we needed—including a crockpot! Lots of dishes, pans, utensils, mugs, etc. Bathrooms had shampoo and conditioner. Laundry soap and dryer sheets provided. LOTS of towels. There was no master bathroom—both bathrooms are in hallways. Taking out the trash was not a big deal. It is cheaper if you bring cash ($3 vs $4.50). Very reasonable and only took a bit less than 15 minutes total to do it. Had a great stay!

Weekend trip to Yellowstone

We stayed in the Waystone Cabin during a short weekend trip to Yellowstone National Park. The cabin is in Island Park which is about a 30 minute drive to the west entrance of Yellowstone. The property manager was flexible with our check in and check out times. We had a great time. The cabin was very clean and comfortable. It is well stocked with everything you need. I would stay there again.

The Waystone Cabin is owned by the Mitton family (there are 17 of us and counting!). We named the cabin after a place in our favorite book. (It's called The Name of the Wind and it's awesome. It's on the bookshelf if you have time to read while you're staying with us.)

After years of visiting and renting in Island Park ourselves, we finally decided to buy a permanent home. Because we've been renting for so long, we know what makes for a great stay and we've worked hard to make sure you have everything you need. And because we spend so much time here too, we take care of it so it's always clean and comfortable.
