House is beautiful and owners were very attentive. The owners have offered every amenity possible, even bug spray, smore sticks, laundry soap, paper products, etc. The list goes on and on. I would highly recommend this property. Thank you Suzy and RJ, my family had a great vacation.

Amazing property right on Lake Charlevoix. I was so incredibly impressed with the quality of the home, the thoughtful attention to detail, the cleanliness of the entire environment, including the outdoor spaces. We will be back! Great stay on a beautiful lake

Our family had a terrific week on the lake at this cottage, enjoying the location, swimming off of the dock, eating outside and cooking s’mores at the campfire. The cottage is clean, neat and cozy and is well equipped.

This is our second year staying here and we absolutely love it! The location is amazing and the house is beautiful. Suzy does a fantastic job communicating with us and making sure we are all set for our stay. We had another great experience at Knot Just a Cottage!

Wonderful Location

We had a wonderful time at Knot Just a Cottage. Suzy was a great communicator and checked on us as we arrived to see if we needed anything. The cottage was the perfect location for boating and using the beach. We look forward to staying there again.

Beautiful Charlevoix Cottage

This was an awesome anniversary getaway! So beautiful, peaceful, and cozy! Location was great and we had fun sitting at the cottage as well as in Charlevoix, Mackinaw Island, and Petosky. Great vacation and owner was nice and easy to communicate with. Perfect getaway!!

Beautiful home!

We loved our stay! House was perfect, and even better than described. So many personal touches that it felt like borrowing someone' home vs a rental! The patio and lake view and dock are amazing - we loved our stay - would highly recommend and will stay again!

Great stay in a beautiful place

This was a beautiful cottage that met all of our family’s needs and then some. The inside decor is well thought out and the outside areas are great for relaxing. It’s so well-equipped that it’s more like staying at a friend’s place than a rental. Suzy provides everything you need and then some! It’s close to town too. We would definitely stay there again and hope to do so soon!

Perfect Destination

We visited Knot Just a Cottage for a ladies' weekend and couldn't be happier with our stay. It is the perfect location for dining, shopping and vineyard touring. Highly recommend! The house is spotless with plenty of amenities. The property is so beautiful with stunning views! Can't wait to return to Knot Just a Cottage!

Comfy Cozy

We absolutely loved the house! So clean and cozy. Went up to go skiing. Centrally located between Boyne Mountain (25 minutes) and Boyne Highlands/ Nubs Knob (25 minutes). View is amazing. Love, Love!!

Far exceeded our expectations!

Knot Just a Cottage was fabulous! Beautifully decorated with all the comforts of home! The owner, Suzy, thought of everything plus. We’ve never stayed in a place that was as clean or well-appointed. The view was gorgeous! The cottage was 5 minutes from Charlevoix downtown and about 20 minutes from Petoskey. Would stay again!

Fantastic Stay!

Suzy was an incredible host and we loved all the amenities of KJAC. Cottage is very well equipped with new kitchen including updated appliances and fully-stocked utensils/supplies. Outside areas were great with lots of seating areas on outdoor furniture, dining table, and fire pit for family time. Long dock with stairs for swimming access plus kayaks and paddle boards available and allowed family to enjoy water even more. Overall highest ratings for beautiful cottage.

Family heritage trip back to the 'upper lower' after 45 years

sibling reunion at lake cottage in the upper lower peninsula where we used to spend the summer when we were kids *(many years ago). Beautiful cottage on lake Charlevoix with all the trimmings-deck, dock, kayaks, comfy, well furnishhed, spacious living room/kitchen, indoor plumbing! great host-communicative, helpful, friendly.

Wonderful Winter Getaway at this Charming Lakefront Cottage

My husband, daughter and I all had a lovely time at this beautiful cottage on the shores of Lake Charlevoix. We were cozy and warm in this very clean, comfortable and nicely furnished home. Everything was in tip top shape when we arrived and we did not want for anything during our stay. The arrival process was super simple and the owners were very easy to contact and responsive. We would love to return again in the summer or fall!

Charming cottage on the lake

-beautifully appointed with not a detail missed. Really tasteful decor and comfortable linens/towels etc -owner Suzy was very responsive and helpful She even provided lovely welcome bag, stocked fridge with assorted beverages and all the s’mores makings you could need! -house has everything you could need and super organized. -Overall, fantastic week at “knot just a cottage” and hope to return

Birthday celebration

Our stay was wonderful. Suzy was very responsive. She has thought of everything to make the stay enjoyable and fun. The house is in a great location, very clean, air conditioned and has all of the little things that you would hope to have for a relaxing lake house stay, including comfortable beds, hammock, fire pit, relaxing outdoor chairs, nice dock, etc. I highly recommend it!

Fantastic Summer Getaway

This is an incredible location. Your view of the lake is amazing—it is completely as advertised. There are so many small touches to the cottage that make it perfect for anything you need or want to do. I only wish we had planned to spend more time at home! We hardly used all of the games and cooking stuff that was available. Suzy the homeowner is fantastic and helped us with anything we needed, before we even arrived! It’s very kid-friendly—we have four kids and we fit easily.

Knot Just A Cottage

Wonderful stay!

We spent a fantastic week at Suzy’s property! WOW ! It is such a beautiful and comfortable home in a fantastic quiet location right on the lake. It was our first time in Charlevoix and we enjoyed staying at the house and also exploring some of the local sites . It is a quick drive to town. Suzy was quick to respond to any of our questions. We got in super late on our first night. Suzy had the lights on for us and a sweet welcome kit! We would love to return !

Just Perfect

Knot Just A Cottage was off the 5 star chart. It was modern, clean, very well equipped, and just beautiful. It exceeded our expectations. Incredible from every aspect!

The home is not just comfortable but it has all you need for an amazing family or friends vacation. We wanted a calm week on the lake so we knew we would spend a lot of time at the property. This home is furnished with grace and care, it is not a cottage that someone just used their old furniture! Wonderful amenities were provided, kayaks, paddle boards, basketballs, fire pits(2) wood and gas, and horseshoes. It is very close to Charlevoix, Boyne City, Petoskey,and many other cities and attractions. Highly recommend. Suzy was a pleasure to work with and responded quickly to any questions we had.

Relaxing property with gorgeous views!

We had a wonderful time at Knot Just Our Cottage. Suzy was a wonderful host and went out of her way to answer our questions and help us prepare for our stay. The house was perfect for our family of four. My husband and I and our boys (4 and 8) enjoyed the charming, comfortable home, and especially the gorgeous views of the lake which were visible from the master bedroom, living room and outdoor spaces. The house is in a charming and relaxing neighborhood, but also a short distance from downtown Charlevoix and the neighboring towns of Petosky and Harbor Springs. We found much to do in the area (boating, shopping, going to beaches, visiting a local farm) but also enjoyed just relaxing with our feet up on the gorgeous lakefront deck. We hope to return and have already recommended the property to others.
