Perfect House for Family Vacation

Brad's house was perfect for our double family trip to Kauai! The setup was great for two sets of parents and kids. The location was great, the views were amazing, and the pool was close and refreshing. We loved our days here and hope to come back!

Dream Hawaii Vacation

We had a wonderful time staying at this special house. Lots of great memories were made on the trip and many at the house with big dinners, hitting the pool, and sitting together just relaxing watching the golfers go by. We loved that we could walk to Queens Bath, Hanalei Resort or Hotel One for drinks and dinner. The location is fantastic and the views are stunning. Looking forward to returning soon!

Gorgeous Property

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Princeville! The house is located right off the Makai golf course and has a beautiful backyard. The beds are comfortable and the living spaces had more than enough room for our group of 11. We would stay here again!

We loved staying in this home! The location was perfect; the home is beautiful; the beds are comfortable; the kitchen had everything we needed; the views are spectacular; the volleyball court is so much fun!! We can't wait to be back in Kauai, and this home is the BEST!

Wow, what an awesome home. We had dinner, morning coffee at balcony enjoying cool breeze and view of golf courts. Brad ensured that we had everything from kitchen utensils to snorkeling kits ( though some were not working). Kids had a great time. Brad, I would love to stay in that home again on any day. Thank you so much for making our stay memorable

Very special property, wonderful owner

The pictures truly understate how wonderful this home is. The great room, lanai and backyard are wonderful to relax after a day touring the island, rooms are spacious, kitchen is stocked and the property manager and owner are both very responsive. It's also walkable to Queens Bath, Hideaway beach, Puu Poa beach, and a hike/short swim over to Black Pot in Hanalei! We were ages 7 to 75 and there was something for everyone. Thank you for opening up your house - we can't wait to come back!

Wonderful

My family and I had a wonderful time at this Princeville home. We had five adults and five children ranging in age from 4-11. It easily and comfortably held all ten of us. The beds were comfortable and having 3.5 bathrooms was very nice. The kitchen was fully stocked with cookware and dishes and having the outdoor barbeque allowed us to enjoy the beautiful Hawaiian outdoors for most of our dinners. The sand volleyball court was endlessly entertaining to our group. While our kids were too young to play volleyball, they enjoyed batting a beach ball around. Our kiddos also enjoyed the neighborhood pool and hunting for geikos in the yard.

Wonderful Home for Large Family!

Brad’s home was perfect for our extended family! The kitchen and living areas were large and the views were beautiful! We made use of the bbq on-site and we’re able to walk to Queen’s Bath in the evening for sunset. Brad also greeted the first group who came in and said he was available during our stay if anything came up. A few things to note, all the doors, including the bathrooms doors, are slated, so no noise privacy. There is also no central ac in the house, but the fans provided made things comfortable. We visited at the end of June/beginning of July for reference. Overall, our stay was comfortable and so much fun! It was nice to have a big enough house for our group to stay in and enjoy. Thanks to Brad!

Lovely, large family home

Our extended family enjoyed staying in this home & exploring beautiful Kaua’i! Lots of space for everyone in fhe lovely Princeville area! Pros- Brad worked with us on dates and was flexible. 2 master bedrooms (1 upstairs and 1 downstairs). Sleeps a lot of people. Enjoyed the outdoor area and beautiful great room with views of the golf course. Provided paper goods, toiletries, and trash bags- very helpful! Cons- No central A/C. We did used to it and the fans helped a lot, but we were not a few times. 15 min walk or 5-10 min drive to any beaches. Needed a few more bath towels with our large family. Don’t miss Queen’s bath (within walking distance) and Hideaway Beach (steep to get to but worth it if you don’t have mobility issues!). Other highlights of our week included tubing the old Irrigation Tunnels and a Zodiac boat tour of the Napali coast. So fun & beautiful!

Jennifer thank you for the review. We placed more bath towels in all of the bathrooms for future guests. The home is advertised stating that there is no AC, but we are fortunate that the trade winds blow through the house and cool the inside. We also placed several additional fans in the home.

Beautiful location

What a beautiful place Princeville is. The location was very nice. Close to beaches, restaurants, hiking and small shopping areas. The description of the home threw me a little bit along with the pictures. The listing says 5 bedrooms but it’s only 4 with an area that has full/queen mattress and set of bunks. Not quite the privacy we wanted. Not all bathrooms are shown in pictures. Those are pretty dated. One of them is quite slippery entering into. The primary bedroom and bathroom are the majority of the pictures and it’s gorgeous. The home is a split level so could be difficult for ones walking up and down stairs. In two of the rooms there were lots of dead gnats that we had to sweep and vacuum before we unpacked. Needs some attention around the home. The property grounds had beautiful fruit trees, oranges, grapefruit, avocado. During the day when it’s sunny and warm it can get quite hot on top floor so use fans and louvered windows to your advantage. The property manager wasn’t the most helpful. Asked several questions about things around the home and area and got short answers that left us searching things on our own. The property owners are super to deal with, just giving some honest observations. Our overall trip was beautiful.

Brian, I am glad that you enjoyed Princeville in the surrounding area around our home. Our property manager brings over flowers to place in the kitchen for each guest. This is the first time I’ve heard any criticism of her management skills. We have a guest binder that has information about the home and some activities on the North Shore. We recommend that our guests use Google to search for additional activities, or places of interest went on the island. VRBO‘s site does not have a way to list additional beds in the family room, so we needed to put the information under the category of bedrooms. The description does explain that the beds are in the family room. There are several times a year that we see swarms of gnats outside of our home. They do make their way into the home, and can show up on the floors after the cleaner leave. We do our best to provide a great experience for our guests and fortunately we have been able to maintain close to a five star rating. I hope overall that your stay was enjoyable and relaxing.

Fabulous property! Gorgeous views, plenty of space. Hot tub and neighborhood swimming pool offer alternative to beach and ocean swimming. Well equipped, super clean, terrific views, great location, nearby grocery shopping, close to town. This lovely home offers great gathering place , as well as places to go for privacy and contemplation. Best vacation rental ever!!!

Beautiful Princeville

The home was spacious and had absolutely beautiful views. We loved the hot tub and the updated bathroom and kitchen. The chairs and cooler were very convenient to have for beach days. Perfectly located in beautiful Princeville and a quick drive to Hanalei Bay and Anini beach. There was plenty of space for our 5 children. The futon sleep couches were perfect! We would definitely stay here again.

Had a great time in Kauai

This house was great for our stay. The location was wonderful. The house was clean and a nice layout for our group. We played beach volleyball. It was nice the house came with chairs and snorkel gear. It was well equipped. Some of the bathrooms downstairs are a bit dated but that didn't bother us. The beach towels provided were a bit threadbare but understand when they are getting loaned out and used a lot. Just minor feedback did not impact the enjoyment of the house. The hot tub was a nice amenity as well. The location is great being close to Hanalei Bay and Foodland is just a small drive. Be prepared for roosters and bring your ear plugs. They serve as your alarm clock during your stay. We love Kauai and this house was a great home base for our stay. Brad the owner was very accommodating to our group and communicative when I asked for advice about things to do in the area.

Fun in Paradise!

Beautiful home and location on the island of Kauai. We enjoyed the short walk to hideaway beach and the volleyball court was a huge hit with our adult kids! It rained almost the entire time we were there but that did not stop us from having a wonderful time! The rain showers were intermittent so in between we went out and enjoyed all the island had to offer. The owner and property manager were very responsive and we enjoyed our stay!

Fabulous property!

Fantastic home with beautiful great home with 360 view of mountains and golf course. Kids loved playing volleyball and we walked to Queen’s Bath. Fully equipped kitchen. Couples enjoyed the evening golf cart sunset ride at the course. Would stay here again!

Great property for large family

Very spacious and in great condition. Walking distance to beach. Quiet neighborhood. We enjoyed the large yard with hot tub, BBQ and beach volleyball court. Perfect for our family Christmas get together with large kitchen and 4 separate bedrooms. We never tried the neighborhood pool since water on the beach was so warm.

My wife and I grew up in Southern California, and went to college at San Diego State. San Clemente was our home town, until we moved to Kauai in 2005. The North Shore of Kauai where we live, had very little to offer in sports programs for 11 through 14 year old boys. So in 2013 we started the first boys volleyball club on the island called the YMCA Kauai Warriors, and focused on teaching them the skills, attitude and team spirit to be successful at volleyball and life. I built a sand volleyball court in the backyard to have a training facility for the team. We have 10 boys who competed in local tournaments, and in in late June of 2014 we traveled to the Junior Olympics in Houston Texas.

As a family we love sports and enjoy playing sand volleyball, tennis and stand up paddling. The home is located on a circular street and our neighborhood is so quiet and peaceful. We enjoy walking down to the Hanalei Bay Resort, or the Saint Regis Hotel to listen to music and enjoy a cocktail.

I enjoy going fishing for Yellow Fin Tuna, Ono and Mahi Mahi.

The home sits on 2/3 of an acre on the Golf Course with incredible views in every direction. We call it out tree house because from the great room upstairs, with so many picture windows, it brings in the light and beauty from outside. We remodeled the kitchen and the master bedroom with comfort in mind. You can sit at the kitchen island bar and watch the waterfalls on the mountain when it rains. The backyard sand volleyball court, jacuzzi and patio area is perfect for entertaining. There is a covered barbecue area and Tiki Pole in the center of the patio. There are fruit trees in the yard which you can gather fruit if ready. Across the street is the private pool and tennis court. The home is centrally located, and close to Hanalei Bay Resort and Princeville Resort Kauai. Hanalei Bay is only 8 minutes away. You can walk to Hideaway Beach and snorkel with tropical fish and green turtles.

It is a two minute walk to the Golf Pro Shop, and play one of the best courses on Kauai.

The home has open beam ceilings, rap around lani, fruit trees. Enjoy playing on the sand volleyball court, or sit under the new patio cover on the concrete deck and watch the birds and clouds go bye. You can walk to the Happy Talk lounge at the Hanalei Bay Resort to eat and enjoy live music, with great ocean views.
