The access to the private beach, pools, golf course, & pickleball courts is perfect. The property is very secure and safe. We rented a boat for crab island & picked our crew up from the peer at Louisiana Lagniappe.

Perfect Family Getaway

The condo was the perfect size for our family of 5. It was in the perfect location with a nice front porch view of the canal. We have stayed many times in Sandpiper, and love the resort!

Summer Vacation 2024

Great location! Loved the pools and easy walk to the beach. We were very happy with the accommodations. We will be back the next time we visit Destin.

Perfect beach getaway

The condo was great! The beds were super comfy and everything was in working order. If you plan to cook, they had all the pots and pans you needed. You will need to bring filters for the coffee maker but there is a Winn Dixie and target across the street. Check in and check out we’re super easy.

Beautiful home!

Our family of 6 couldn’t have been happier with our stay! The pictures don’t do the condo justice, beautiful and clean! We will definitely be revisiting in the future!

Wonderful Spacious Condo

We have stayed at Sandpiper several times and I was shocked at how roomy this condo was! Very well-kept and plenty of room for everyone to have their own space. Beautiful view of golf course and water. Will definitely be back!

Great location, owner responded quick. Disliked that the property is not updated and is run down. The beds were ok, but you could tell the mattresses are old.

The place was great. Had a great time. We walked to the beach several days. Other days we drove to the parking area. Either way was fine. Kids also loved the pools.

Condo was everything as advertised

Condo location worked great for us. Condo was bright & airy, with plenty of room. all amenities we needed, nice washer & dryer also. Sandpiper Cove is an excellent complex, grounds & pools are kept up and always felt safe within the complex

I want to leave a fair review, both for the host and for future renters. This place has so much potential. It is roomy enough for 6 people, in a great location, with access to the canal, pools, and an awesome community beach. The location is convenient to a lot of places, but noise was an issue for sleeping on the first night. The condo itself needs maintenance (electrical outlets loose/not working, shower head, faucet handle, closet handle, and thermostat loose/falling off, toilet tank very slow to fill, door off sliding track, blinds that won't close). Thankfully, my husband and I are handy and we were able to address the issues enough ourselves in order to continue with our stay. There are also items that need to be replaced or thoroughly cleaned. The couches and recliner are dirty/stained and the recliner was so stinky and dingy that we did not want to sit in it; we sprayed it with freshener and covered it with a blanket. The sheets and towels smelled clean but needed to be replaced due to stains. We attempted to address the concerns in a very polite way with the host, not knowing if he was aware or not, but he never replied to our message about the problems.Overall, we enjoyed our stay in Destin but felt that the place should have been better maintained and much nicer for the money paid.

Overall, this was an excellent location and just across from the beach. We didn't have to drive far to get access to the beachfront because it was just across the street and it was a private beach. Terry, our host, was very responsive to my query. I didn't have to wait long. The condo had everything that we would need for our short vacation. Albeit, some of the appliances were older, these still work so this was not a problem for us. Restaurants were not far away and Target was also a walking distance.

Just what we needed!

Had a great stay. Nice condo, had lots of extras in kitchen. Property owner was great! This is our 4 th winter in this area, i love to watch ocean. First time we didn't have ocean view . But there was a canal view. So much fun watching the ducks splash and the pelicans were so funny diving into the water. The ocean is right across the street. So GREAT time! GREAT CONDO!! GREAT owner!

Clean neat appearance!

By day the condo was very nice. Great location and very clean. By nite the condo was very uncomfortable. We are not an overweight family. The mattresses are in terrible condition in the bedrooms. Extremely worn out! Would never stay here again unless mattresses are replaced!

I am terribly sorry you had that experience! The mattresses are only 3 years old and were quite expensive. As an owner, we stay for 3 months and are quite comfortable. Other guests have told me how comfortable the mattresses are. Again, I am sorry you had that experience.
