Couldn’t have a better location for Encinitas. Especially for a family that’s literally steps from Moonlight Beach which is the most family friendly beach along that coast. The house is clean and filled with beach toys, chairs and everything you need to have a spectacular beach vacation.

The A/C unit not working when we arrived to the property and thermostat showed 86 degrees inside. The downstairs cooled with a separate system but the upstairs living area and kitchen never did. We communicated daily regarding the issue which finally got fixed as we were trying to pack up and be out by 10 amThe property pictured on VRBO pictures were taken many years ago - no kitchen towels / master bath towels and beach towels awful. Beach chairs broken and should be tossed

My family and some family friends have stayed here a couple of times (with multiple children). It’s a fantastic location right next to the beach with so much to do in the area. The view from the patio is great, the enclosed yard for the kids is wonderful, and the house is honestly perfect! We ran into a slight issue at one point and I contacted the owner and she immediately handled the issue and was extremely pleasant to speak with. (Was not the owners fault!). Great house all around! We will likely always stay at this property when in Encinitas!

Fabulous Multi-Generational Family Spot

Close to the beach, food and shopping - for families who range from grandparents to grandchildren, I cannot imagine a better spot to gather.

Liked the location - closeness to the beach and town - but could use a major upgrade to the many torn/damaged beach chairs and wagons in rough shape (one set of front wheels not attached). Cleanliness not up to standard for this location/price range - floors very dirty (not just from sand) - in need of a major scrubbing - probably need a strong power wash on the upper balcony! Other simple fixes - like a bin for storing beach toys vs just a big pile of them, fix closets/bath drain in lower level, etc - would also go a long ways towards enhanced appearances. Layout of the house is great, beds were good, host was extremely responsive (pack n plays delivered as requested) - this can be a 5 star place - just needs some TLC.

You can’t beat this location! A few steps to the beach and just a couple blocks to the bars and cafés.

house showed some wear and tear issues and minor damage but everything functioned. Not enough reading lights in the bedrooms. it was clean and had sufficient towels. The 5th bathroom was essentially the laundry room and uncomfortably small. It would be a great house for families with small kids and worked well for us 10 adults. location was the best! Host responded quickly to our request for a room heater.

It was perfect for 8 adults, all family. Everyone had their own space yet the common space was perfect for us!More towels for the kitchen please.The one stool in the kitchen is very wobbly and we did not use.Loved the view and you provided so many things to use and enjoy at the beach!

Encinitas Family Vacation

Nice, large home right next to Moonlight Beach in Encinitas. Plenty of room for our large family, well-stocked kitchen, ample beach supplies, and Rebecca makes everything very easy. This is our second time staying here, and we are definitely planning on a third.

Beautiful and clean property! Perfect family vacation home!

Loved the updated beach cottage look! Excellent location next to the beach. Loved the privacy of the courtyard. Comfortable beds and nice bedding! One of the best rentals I have ever stayed in. Walking distance to great restaurants! Casita (bungalow) is a wonderful bonus with this Rental. Highly recommend staying at this property.

Best location for kids in Encinitas

From the views, location, and comfort of the home, this place was exceptional. We had a big family with kids of all ages and it was very comfortable for everyone. There were 2 pack n plays, a high chair, and kids tableware, which made it really convenient. We love the location, being that close to the beach is a real plus!

The house was perfect for us. We were 9 adults and 4 kids, ages from 3 to 75! It’s an easy walk to town (especially good ice cream place close by), easy drive to botanic gardens, legoland, grocery stores, train station, sweet little town. Perfect place for a vacation! Thanks Rebecca for having us.

Fantastic location

We really enjoyed our stay! The property was clean and very cozy. The views are gorgeous. We enjoyed the little garden with roses and the fenced yard. The location is perfect, right next to the beach and walking distance to restaurants and grocery stores. The parking lot is very big, we easily fit 4 cars on it. We look forward to coming back next year!
