Great stay at Kuhio Shores

Wonderful, relaxing visit. Perfectly pleasant accommodation in great location. Condo had everything we needed, including cooler, beach chairs, and a fully equipped kitchen. Great lanai!

Amazing Stay!!

I’m so glad we ended up renting this gem over a resort. The locations is absolutely perfect. The view of both the ocean and mountains is excellent. The place is spacious with everything you need during your stay (and more). I can’t wait to return!!!

Beautiful apartment

Very nice place. Many extras such as spices, Ziplocs, beach chairs, etc. Watching the fish and turtles from the lanai was special.

Beautiful!

This was a beautiful home away from home! We were able to watch the sea turtles every evening from the balcony and sit and listen to the waves come in! The condo was updated and wonderful!!! It was close to everything we wanted to do on the south shore during our stay!

Everything they promised, and more!

Our stay at #405 was everything we hoped for- clean and comfortable for two, with a great view and a well-stocked kitchen. Also, the closet had everything we needed for a fun day at the beach. It has plenty of parking and a great location. We would love to stay here again.

Fantastic condo

When we first walked in and saw the wall-to-wall, floor-to-ceiling view of the ocean shore, we were amazed. The entire stay was wonderful. It is obvious the owners stay here when they visit Hawaii, and they maintain the place as they would want it to be--all the furniture, appliances, every detail: first-rate.

Condo was amazing! Beautifully decorated and great AC, beach necessities were supplied as well. Amazing balcony view where we could sit and watch sea turtles! Highly recommend this condo!

Excellent host. Communication was great! The condo was amazing!! The balcony view was stunning, overlooking a beautiful bay and you could walk to Lawai’i beach, which was great for snorkeling! The condo came with great amenities! 2 beach chairs, an umbrella, cooler bags, comfortable bed, paper products, and more. The Kuhio Shores condo complex was conveniently located near Poipu and its beaches. The complex was very clean and parking was provided. Overall, I highly recommend this condo unit!!

Perfect location…amazing view!

7 nights. Beautiful condo. We’ll appointed. Everything we needed! Many unforgettable hours sitting on lanai watching turtles and fish enjoying the surf. Easy parking. Plan to go back!

Paradise

My boyfriend and I had a fabulous time. This is a great location and well stocked condo. It had a nice homey decor. It has air conditioning which is nice when it's a little too hot. The location really is prime...loved the sunrises and sea turtles. We have stayed at Kuhio Shores before and this is by far our favorite condo. We loved using the binoculars at night to see the stars.

Beautiful Remodeled Condo!

We had a fabulous week in your condo! Turtle and whale watching are always our highlights at Kuhio Shores. I have stayed in at least four units and this one is outstanding! MY FAVORITES: The three headed shower and the very comfortable lounges that allow you to just sit and watch the sea, with wine of course! Or morning coffee! Thank you, I can't wait to come back! Peaceful and beautiful view

Clean and very comfortable. Sound of ocean at night is so soothing, you know that you have entered vacation mode! Property is quiet and peaceful. Beach chairs, umbrella, towels and cooler all provided to take with you to the beach. I also like that there are plenty of bath towels. Its very convenient that shampoo, conditioner and body wash are also provided. I found the mattress and linens super comfortable and provided an excellent nights rest! The loungers on the deck are wonderful too. We have stayed in this unit (405) before and have already booked for next year.

Very comfortable and convenient

We really enjoyed this stay in Kauai. The unit had everything we needed for our stay. We didn't eat in, but it had everything you would need if you want to. The laundry is coin operated and down the hall. Not as convenient as in unit, but not a problem, either, unless you have no small bills for the change machine. A full length mirror would be a nice add. If we return, we will definitely look at this unit again!

December trip

We visited Kauai for my Birthday. It is our second trip there. The place is nice and clean, the unit has air in the main room and bedroom! A plus since a lot of places here don't. I loved the sunrise from the balcony and the ease of watching the sunsets from the rear of the building next to the water's edge. It is an easy walk to Shopping, Sheraton Beach, and the spouting horn! It is a nice place for you and your loved one! The kitchen is fully appointed, although we don't usually make dinners in the unit. It has all the necessary accouterments to make you feel at home! I will consider renting again when we come back!

Fantastic condo and location in Poipu!

Wow, we had the BEST stay at this condo in Poipu. Not only is the condo beautiful, it is also a perfect location for staying on Kauai (on the dry side of the island, but still close to get to many different places on the island). Some of the perks were the amazing ocean view from the condo and specifically the patio (the lounge chairs were my favorite place!...we could also see sea turtles from the porch), the updated features of the condo (wonderful kitchen and bathroom), the location right next to the Beach House (great dinner/drinks/sunset views), the beach chairs, umbrella, and cooler in the closet (we spent a wonderful day at Polihale Beach), and the comfy bed! The owner was very nice and easy to correspond with - she made it very easy for us! She even accommodated a late check-out on our last day which was very generous and much appreciated. We would stay at this condo again in a HEARTBEAT!!

Wonderful Stay!

We stayed 9 nights. We were told we were the 3rd guest since remodel. The attention to detail in this remodel along with 1st class furniture and fixtures made this a perfect place for us. We did no cooking in the unit but the kitchen was fully stocked with everything necessary. Walking around the corner of the building every night to see the surfers and watch the sunset was very special. Recommend the bar menu at Beach House afterward and a short walk back to the condo. Recommend: Note for future guests that passcode for wireless is case sensitive (all upper case). Also, more detailed instructions on the Ruku TV operation. Perfect getaway

Wife and I were visiting Kauai for our 5 year wedding anniversary and this condo was perfect. It was a great central hub in Poipu for getting to all of our activities (Waimea Canyon, Sleeping Giant, etc.) And it also provided great amenities when we were staying in (kitchen, patio, etc.). Would definitely stay again!

Wonderful stay at a great property!

This was our third time staying in this condo and we plan on being back. We love being able to sit on the lanai enjoying the ocean sounds and watching the turtles swim in the cove.

October stay in Poipu

This condo was a fabulous place to stay for our Kauai vacation. The vacation was a little different than many of our trips in that we spent the entire 10 days in the same place - and the condo was perfect. We have visited Kauai several times and would stay in the condo again. Getting the (minor) imperfections out of the way first - there were no champagne glasses and there aren't many restaurants within walking distance. Neither of those should be considered complaints - there are restaurants a few minutes drive to the east, and more in Koloa, just a few more minutes driving away. There is also the Beach House right next door but we did not eat there. There were 2 beach towels supplied and it would have been handy to have a couple more - but there are laundry machines available in the complex, and the condo has a drying rack so we could hang wet stuff up each day. There are so many positives - the location is incredible. The ocean can be heard all the time right outside the sliding door. Turtles visit the water below, and we saw them almost every time we looked. It is easy to get to other parts of Kauai from Poipu, and it was a perfect base of operations. The condo itself is very nice and very comfortable. We did not use the pullout bed. The bed in the bedroom is quite comfortable. The condo is very well equipped - not only in terms of the kitchen, bathroom, and bedroom (things like towels, dishes, utensils, etc.) but also for beach stuff. 2 beach chairs, and umbrella, a cooler, and plenty of other stuff we did not use. Also - don't miss the binoculars on one of the cabinet shelves - we didn't find those until the last day or so! We were there in October - at that time of year at least it is a great place to be a morning person. If the blinds are left open overnight the morning sun comes right through the entire condo. We were relaxing but it felt good to get up, get going, and see what adventures the day had for us. Once the condo was out of the direct sunlight, opening the blinds, windows and the windows in the bedroom made for a lovely breeze. We never had to use the air conditioner. We were able to move our checkout time later because we had a late flight out, and the flexibility was certainly appreciated. We definitely will be back to Kauai, and no question would stay in this condo again.
