The rooms were a little small, but all we really needed was a place to sleep and eat, with a dock. This house definitely fit the bill! It was clean and family friendly. We didn't need to contact the host for anything! There were plenty of blankets, plates, cookware, condiments, everything we needed for a great lake trip! The fact that we could park right in front of the house, walk down one inside flight of steps, and directly out to the dock was perfect for us. My bestie's son rented a house not too far across the lake and I had no intention of walking down his 4 or 5 flights worth of very steep stairs down to the dock - he was able to drive the boat right to our dock and pick us up for a ride to avoid all that! Thanks for a great place to stay!!

Excellent location

Rex’s lake house is great! Having the boat ramp was an AWSOME perk to the place. Not too steep to get in and out. The no wake cove made it excellent for the kids to swim off the dock.

So amazing!!

Thank you so much to Rex and Lisa for sharing their charming bungalow with my friends and I this past weekend! It had everything we needed from floats to extra seating to movies. We were very very happy with our stay and would love to come back again.

Great stay

We have stayed at this house for many vacations now to the lake. We love the location and the size of the house. The house is close to all our favorite restaurants. Having the boat dock available for our boat is great. We love being able to walk out of the house and leave from the boat whenever we need to. We would definitely continue to return to the lake and wonderful rental house.

there are not 6 bedroooms

but we had some of our party cancel so it worked out perfect for us. loved the dock and outside/screened porches. Great area!!

The lake house

The house was very clean and set up perfectly. We spent most of the time outside! The kids loved playing on the lily pad in the water. The boat launch was an added bonus as we brought our boat. The weather was hot but the water was great! Rex is very responsive when trying to reach him and very nice.! I would definitely recommend this house and hope to return. Thank you Trx for a perfect week’

Perfect family getaway

With family spread across Arizona, Texas, Oklahoma, Arkansas, and Missouri, it is hard for us to all get together. This house provided us the opportunity to do just that. Room for everyone, a dock and water toys for the kids, and memories to last a lifetime. We hope to return next summer!

Home Away From Home

This is our second year staying here. We love this house and the location. It is in a quiet cove so the water is nice and calm for swimming off the dock. The house is equipped with everything you need. The onsite boat ramp and boat dock make things so convenient. We stayed with our adult children and there is plenty of space for everyone. We hope to be back next summer!

Lake VACA 7/2024

The house is very spacious and comfortable. We had a great 3 day weekend ! The beds were all very comfortable and the layout worked well for our family. There were 2 adults, 4 teenagers and our dog. Plenty of room for us all! Great cove for swimming or using the Lilly pad. I would give this house and location a 10/10

Ozark trip

Rex's place was absolutely perfect for us. We were in town fishing a bass tournament. We had 3 trucks and trailers and there was ample parking for our rigs. The convenience of the boat ramp on the property was very nice! Both a charcoal and gas grill on the property made our cooking super easy as well! Zero issues and would stay at Rex's property again when we come back!

Return Stay

We have stayed at this house multiple times. The house is in a great location to get to all our favorite restaurants. We love to travel with our dog and the house is very pet friendly. The neighbors are nice and the cove is very calm. The home owner is easy to talk to and is there to help with any concerns. Overall it is always a wonderful vacation, we absolutely love the lake and the area.

Nice quite place, house was very nice and had most everything we needed.

Met Rex very nice gentleman, house back of a cove witch was nice because it didn't get the rough waters , water was 10-12' deep so swimming was great, caught a few fish off the dock. It was overall a great time, and being able to bring a pet was even better. Scott G
