It’s great to know the AC worked well during this very hot week and that the location gave you easy access to nearby activities. The two-lane road is freshly paved and a general easy uphill drive. (that's what takes our guests to the million-dollar views :)) The occasional wildlife sightings definitely add to the mountain experience — seeing bears is always memorable, we are glad you enjoyed them from a safe distance!
