A short drive up the mountain, just 10 mins or so from downtown Boone and minutes from Howard’s Knob park. The bedrooms are spacious and the accommodations are exactly as described. Check-in and out was easy with plenty of timely communication from the rental agency. We had a great time and we all loved the place. The futon and couch were accommodating and comfortable enough for our individual guests.

Very clean, nice location about 10 minutes into downtown Boone. View from cabin was not what we expected but was a nice view of the pond.

A Bears Hill is a must stay. We loved the cabin, the pond, the deer! The house is very well taken care of and in the most pristine location. The deer were in the yard so many times a day if felt like a deer farm! We’ve already booked a full week in October and can’t wait to go back. I did not fully understand that there was a gate to get into the “neighborhood”. The key pad is a little hard to see but in front of the mailboxes. To get out there is no key pad. The gate opens automatically as you drive up to it. Luckily someone was walking by when we needed to get out. The guidance was not clear on the either the entry or exit of the gate but easily done once we figured it out. Adding to my review just for additional info for the next guest. We loved it!

Great stay at a great property!

Our family rented this property so we could all attend my sister's college graduation. It was the perfect house for us, was clean, comfortable, and adorable. Our stay was during the Christmas season and the house was beautifully decorated for the holidays. We loved our stay!

Beautiful Cabin

A Bear's Hill was a beautiful cozy cabin in the mountains. The cabin was well clean, equipped and very comfortable. The beds were comfortable and there was plenty of room to relax for a family of six. The location just above Boone was perfect. We enjoyed our stay very much.

Great Place

This was in a great location to Boone. The Deer in the yard in the evenings and morning was awesome to see. The hot tub was luke warm, but other than that it was a fantastic spot and one that we will be renting again.

Family get away

Great family get away. Lovely house with ample space. Very clean and property was easy to get to. Hot tub breaker tripped and property management was quick to address this.

Wonderful weekend at Bears Hill

My family enjoyed a wonderful weekend at Bears Hill. The home was cozy and comfortable for our group of 5. The property is quiet and peaceful and we enjoyed seeing the deer walk through the woods. The hot tub was very relaxing.

Beautiful and Cozy Cabin

We enjoyed our stay at Bears Hill. All the rooms are very spacious. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook our meals. We enjoyed sitting on the porch. We would rent this cabin again.

Mountain getaway

We have tried to start a tradition of heading to different mountains for a Christmas mountain getaway. This place was perfect! It was a cute cabin with an incredible hot tub! We were able to make so many memories! The host was super responsive!

Wonderful week at this cozy cabin!

We stayed at A Bear's Hill cabin for a week of summer vacation. The cabin was cozy and clean, the kitchen well stocked with pots/pans/dishes/utensils, and there was a nice selection of books/games to enjoy. The kids loved the PacMan machine. The cabin is only 10 minutes from Downtown Boone with easy access to the highways/trails. We had a great relaxing week and would stay again!

Great weekend getaway!

We had a great stay with our friends and our dogs. The cabin is a great size and it was very clean. Very close to downtown Boone. We loved using the fire place in the evenings and loved playing Pacman! In the winter, you most definitely need a 4WD/AWD vehicle or you will not make it up the driveway. Our friends had front wheel drive and could not make it up. There was a shovel on site and we had to dig them out. Other than that, great trip and would return!

We knew on our way to the cabin that the downstairs toilet was broken and needed a plumber. The Host stated they would take 30% off each nightly rate. It wasn’t easy for my husband having to go up and down the stairs which is why I selected a cabin with an upstairs and a downstairs bathroom. The first night the hot tub did not work but we thought it would need more time to get warmer. Unfortunately that was not the case as the hot tub would not get above 84 degrees which was a disappointment since we specifically rented a cabin with a hot tub to use during our stay. The cabin was very clean, cozy and well appointed with anything you would need in the kitchen. Also had a great supply of games to play as well.

After Christmas Vacation

Loved the house had a great time even though we had to leave a day early , Had bought snow tubing tickets for the week but a warm front came through ( they refunded our money) but the day before we left got 8" so we got to snow tube😍
