This home provided a wonderfully peaceful environment for our six-day trip. Although the heavy rain kept us from doing as much outside, the house was a cozy sanctuary where we could comfortably relax and watch the weather over the water. The neighbors are very quiet, making it incredibly restful. As a quick tip for future guests: be sure to stock up on food and drinks at Costco or a similar store before settling in, as there are very few places to eat nearby

We loved staying here. Chad was very responsive. The views from the lanai are spectacular! And even though I got sick with a bad cold, I was so calm and serene staying here.Thank you for a restful experience.

We had a great stay on the Southwest coast of Kauai. The rental was as pictured, and it met our needs very well. The kitchen is well stocked for cooking in, and there are beach chairs and sand toys. The views from the second floor balcony were beautiful! The property is close to excellent hiking and beaches. One note, the two smaller bedrooms are separated from the rest of the house by a middle lanai (making them 2 separate buildings, in essence). That was great for our group with 2 older kids, but it could be something to consider if you are traveling with smaller kids.

Wonderful house in beautiful Kauai!!!! We loved being on the quiet, sunny side of the Island. Kehaka was away from the touristy towns, Close to quaint Waimea and historic Hanapepe. The house was so well equipped and stocked with anything you could possibly need. Beds and furniture very comfortable. We enjoyed our meals on the beautiful Lanai facing the ocean. The views from the Lanai, Kitchen, and living room stunning. The sound of the waves, ocean breeze and sunsets were absolutely spectacular. The night skies filled with stars and moon beaming on the ocean amazing. Chad is a wonderful host with excellent communication, check in and check out were seamless. Would highly recommend this rental property and will definitely stay again when coming back to Kauai.

great family home if you want to get away from the tourist areas and enjoy the oceanfront living. Very comfortable home and great views from kitchen living areas, The outdoor dining Lania provided a great evening setting for family dinner and game night. Be prepared to acknowledge upfront your driving to the furthest part away from everything and plan according. very well stocked home with all amenities. Could have used a larger ice chest, borrowed one from Les and Donna next door, which was great cause we got acquainted with fellow southern California natives and had them mover for dinner one night. The location allowed me to get my favorite picture of all time- the milky way Aloha

Best lanai ever

Love the house, amazing ocean side lanai, beautiful master bathroom. Beautiful sunsets with waves crashing against the sea wall. Would love to stay again!

Great Getaway

We had a great time during our stay at this property. THe house was well appointed and the decor was beautiful. The location was fantastic and good to get away from the busy Poipu areas. We loved sitting on the lanai and watching the waves crash on the beach. Overall, the communication was great with the property manager and we would come back again.

Pleasant and enjoyable

Beautiful views, great location for Waimea Canyon. Great spot if you desire to be away from heavy tourist areas. Great Lanai. Road was a bit noisier than we expected. Great house and layout, but could use a deep cleaning.

Wonderful property

Beautiful location and great accommodations. We stayed 1 week on the east side before coming over to the west side of the island. Loved the location and sunny days! Convenient to the snorkeling and deep sea fishing we booked. Multiple restaurants located 5-20 minutes away. Beautiful beach close to house. Rental itself was perfect for my husband and kids age 17 and 19. Amenities were pleniful and really enjoyed our stay.

Quiet Low-Key area with a lovely view

This house suited us well. We don't like the hustle and bustle of the resort area. This house was a great fit for us. The host was helpful and the house was well equipped.

Girls trip

Girls trip with 5 adults. If you’re looking for luxury, this is not it. Older home with great views. Nice to live like a local, far from the resort areas. King and full bed were comfy, but not the singles. Overall we enjoyed our stay, especially mornings on the lanai.

Great place for family!

Our Family of 5 stayed here. Was great space for all to relax. Kids had rooms across deck outsid so may not be good for young ones. View was amazing! There is some road noise but, worth it. We enjoy staying away from all the hussel of larger towns. So, as long as you are good driving to restaurants or eating in, great place to live Island life.

Simply Beautiful!

The location of this home is everything. We woke up to a beautiful view and fell asleep to the sound of waves crashing on the shore. It's just a quick walk down and across the street to a pristine, quiet beach. We are a family of 4 - myself, my husband and two teenage boys. This house was perfect for us, and we hope to be back again soon!

I'm happy to hear this guest enjoyed their stay, but sorry to hear about the ants. This property is professionally treated for pest control quarterly, but as with all of the properties in this tropical climate, the little ants will still find their way in, especially if any food is left out. The pest control company we use, offers interim treatments, if there is ever a flare up of ants between treatments, so they are always on call if needed.

Amazing!!

Wow! From the moment we walked through the beautful front door and saw the ocean out our living room windows, it took our breath away. Everything was so well equipped, kitchen, bedding, everything you need for the beach, etc. Couldn't have asked for more, we want to go back! Highly recommended walking a couple blocks to the waffle place and Sunskai shave ice, the best we had on the island. We we took my mom and had our three kids ages 7-11 and had an absolute blast! Thank you for such a special time spent together.

Amazing sunsets 🌅

Had a wonderful stay at this property. It has 5 star views for sunset. Beach chairs and towels. Well stocked kitchen. The house could use an overall deep clean. We are definitely neat freaks. However it wasn’t anything we couldn’t get past. The view as I said is amazing will include pics. Definitely worth overlooking the flaws.

CLEAN. COMFORTABLE. THERE'S A BEACH JUST UP THE HOUSE. NICE WAVES AND SOFT SANDS. GOOD WAVES FOR SURFING. ALTHOUGH FAR FROM LANDMARKS, HOUSE IS VERY QUIET AND COMFORTABLE. THE DINNING TABLE IS OUTSIDE ON THE BALCONY. YOU CAN HEAR THE OCEAN WHILE YOU SLEEP. BEACH CHAIRS AND STUFF PROVIDED AS WELL. REAL COMFORTABLE STAY.

Quirky Paradise

This is a very authentic beach house with some beach house quirks. But it sits in paradise. The flowering trees around the lanai looking onto the ocean is truly magical. All senses are engaged with the sight, sound and smell of the ocean and the flowers. We loved it and would love to return. The dishwasher doesn't really clean, but who cares when you have this view while washing dishes?
