Rating Details: The property manager was somewhat unhelpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Upon entry we were welcomed with a wood roach, I gave excuse as we are in the woods. The couch had popcorn in between the cushions, the refrigerator had food smeared on the inside door, crumbs under the kitchen table, bathroom rugs had not been laundered, hair in the corners of the bathroom, shower curtains not attached to the wall, insulation & debris stuck in the floor vents, dead bugs laying around floor vents, I emailed the appropriate representative & was sent a maintenance worker to spray for insects only. I refused that service as I did not want to inhale off gases from the agent used. I asked to be moved to another cabin but, none were available. It was suggested that I take pictures & send them in. If I have to take pictures of what the cleaning/maintenance crew are NOT doing, while paying to be in your cabin, you need to re-evaluate your management and customer service etiquette.

Perfect for families with children

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We comfortably fit four families into this cabin, and it made for a fantastic family reunion. There is so much to entertain the children - a pool, arcade games, ping pong, fooseball, a pool table, and a movie theater. And, it is only minutes from the Smokey Mountains National Park, where you can do some great hikes. (We really enjoyed the Nature Trail, which was appropriate for children.) We would stay here again!

Beautiful cabin away from everything

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Only few issues I had was they asked what time I would be arriving. I told them 3pm. I got a message about an hour before saying it wouldn't be ready til 5pm. Also, it's not in Pigeon Forge, it's closer to Cosby. Wasn't told this til it was booked. The cabin itself was beautiful and everything we wanted, I had 8 young adults with me. Be perfect for ones who want away from everything and doesn't mind driving.
Risposta di VrboOwner, il giorno 17 lug 2025

We understand how the delayed check-in and location surprise could be frustrating and appreciate you bringing it to our attention. Please know we have delayed check in information listed in our rental agreement. Your note about the distance is especially helpful for future guests who prefer to be closer to town. We really hope you will consider staying with us again for another peaceful getaway! We encourage guests to book direct and save up to 15% on your booking.

Not A Happy customer

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was very dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed in the live life love cabin. Although the cabin was big we had quite the running with roaches while we were there. There was also rat droppings in the drawers in the kitchen. My son has red bumps all over him when we got home just to take him to the doctor to get told he has been bitten by bed bugs.

1st Visit to Elk Springs Resort property

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We stayed in a property that was in Cosby TN...not sure where the main resort location is but we were only 25 minutes to Gatlinburg. Nice house that was clean and spacious. Plenty to do around the house and we used the movie theatre area a few nights as well. Hot tub broke on the first day so that was the only negative as it couldn’t get fixed during our stay. Management gave a credit as a nice gesture.
Risposta di VrboOwner, il giorno 22 apr 2021
Thank you for the feedback, Barrett. We are delighted to hear that despite the hot tub issue that you were able to enjoy your stay. Our main property is located in Gatlinburg. It has been a pleasure serving your and we hope you come back and checkout some more of our cabins in the future!
