This was my second visit to the quaint little cottage with the dog and she and I both enjoyed it just as much as our first time. Our favorite spot to stay is on the dock, enjoying the swing, and watching the boats go by. Thank you for another fantastic stay!

Our beagle loved it!!! Was very comfortable and lots to do in surrounding towns...loved the deer all over...kayaking on the Potomac River was epic!!!!! Very nice hosts, very helpful

Pros: -The interior of the rental was clean.-It was quiet. -The river was across the street. Cons:-The toilet does not flush well. -the bathroom is downstairs while sleeping area is upstairs and the spiral staircase is more like a spiral ladder (very steep to navigate in the middle of the night if you must use the restroom)-The unit itself really has no view.-The outside areas were messy. The deck overlooking the river had a power washer on it and the chairs were worn and dirty. We spent money to rent the place and I expected that someone would at least tidy the areas we were authorized to use at the home outside.-There was a camper right outside the unit. The owner mentioned this right before our arrival. It made it difficult to park and access the unit. We were not comfortable and left one day early. I kindly requested a refund for the one night (I felt reasonable for the inconvenience and never got a response.)

The host was very accommodating and helpful. Location was perfect - quiet and close to sights, etc. we were in the area for a wedding, so we spent a lot of time out and about and everything was convenient.

Bill and Robin were welcoming hosts and their puppy Maui. We loved the deck by the river and all of the accommodations if we wanted to kayak, perhaps next time. It was quiet and peaceful and I loved the books and decor. I mostly caught up on sleep but if I had a few more days I would have read.

Peaceful and relaxing

We were able to lounge on the boat and the dock. We got in the water with the pups and also hung out on the deck area while having our Bolivar Bakery breakfast and coffee.

Beautiful, peaceful little cottage. Stayed for the weekend and enjoyed hiking in Harpers Ferry and the local restaurants. Our dog loved hanging out by the water and sitting on the swing by the fire at night. We will be back!

An excellent experience at Riverkeeper Inn

Riverkeeper Inn is located in a peaceful and quiet area of Harpers Ferry, equally perfect in early mornings and late nights. The check-in and check-out process were very easy, and the property itself had everything we could've asked for, and then some.

Trip to WV

We had a great peaceful trip in WV and the Riverkeeper was a big part of it. We appreciated their hospitality and location right next to the river. And Shepherds town.

Relaxing getaway

The hosts are wonderful. I had a great time in their cozy, clean and beautiful place. Highly recommend for a visit to beautiful and historic WV.I particularly appreciated their fondness for dogs. Mine had a great time too!
