Hawi Haven! Vieni via per un momento di riposo e ringiovanimento nel nostro cottage piantagione restaurato con cura. La nostra casa confortevole è composta da tre camere da letto, due bagni e mezzo ed è nascosta in un terreno tranquillo, completo di molti fiori tropicali e alberi da frutto. Siamo a pochi passi dalla storica Hawi Town e ad un breve tragitto in auto da molte delle più belle spiagge e siti storici della Big Island. Very nice looking property. Owners were responsive to questions and or issues. Problem with smoke detectors accidentally going off which they addressed promptly. Walking distance to shopping or dining. Would stay again.

The home was clean and tidy. We stayed at Hawi Haven for a month had awesome communication with the property manager and the owners. The home is very central and walking distance to a store and the cute Hawi main street. We may have snuck a tangerine from the tree in the yard. (: We had a great time, and we will be booking again.

The weather wasn’t ideal during our trip, but the house was great. Fit all of our needs, lots of books and games to play with, which definitely came in handy during the storm. Would definitely stay there again, love Hawi such a sweet town and the house was perfect.

We love this charming place and have stayed many times. It’s big, comfy, well equipped, and convenient - you can walk to tiny downtown Hawi in literally two minutes. Neighbors are quiet and there’s a large yard with orange trees and the occasional chickens. The house manager is extremely responsive and helpful.

Always a great stay

We’ve stayed here maybe ten times by now, it’s the most comfy and well equipped and conveniently located rental home we ever stay in! The owner ave manager are always easy to reach.

Great location

We really loved our stay at the Hawi House, the location was great and easy check in. The house had plenty of room for our family of four, the bathroom, room set up is a little strange, but not a problem. We had a great time staying here.

Since the house was built in the 1950s, we didn't have much say on the configuration of the bedrooms and bathrooms -- we were just glad that there were 3 bathrooms and 3 bedrooms when we bought it in 2005!! It is such a charming plantation cottage!! Mahalo!!

Return to our favorite town on the Big Island

We love staying in Hawi - the people are so kind. Access to the mountains and beaches is great. This house was so sweet - very comfortable, lots of little extras (picnic gear, water bottles, rice maker) and the hosts and the property manager were very responsive.

Great place to experience the Hawi side of the island

This is an excellent home to stay in while visiting the Big Island. The price is reasonable. The home is clean and roomy, and the owners are generous and thorough with all that they offer. I highly recommend staying here!

Perfect stay

This house is perfect. It has everything you could ever need. Walking to town or market. This is our second time and we will stay here again.

Quiet and relaxing

The property had a charm to it. Taken care of and fully stocked. Has a nice outside area to have drinks and meals, very quaint.

Hawi Haven feels like home

We loved our visit to Hawi Haven! The house felt like home and had everything we needed and wanted. Have stopped in Hawi on several other trips, but never stayed there before...that will change. Hawi and Hawi Haven are definitely on the list for future trips! Mahalo

A quiet retreat

Hawi Haven was a welcome respite to begin our relaxation on the Big Island. The house was beautiful and so well maintained. Communication with the owner and property manager was excellent. Such a beautiful setting for our exploration of the northern part of the island. We would highly recommend a stay at this home.

July 4th Kohala Community and Family Reunion

We needed some place that was close to Kohala for our Kohala Community reunion and Family reunion. Hawi Haven was located close to Kohala/Kamehameha Park and the homes of other family members. The property was very well maintained and beautiful. The inside was very nicely renovated and updated. We truly enjoyed our stay at Hawi Haven and look forward to coming back again in the future. Hawi Heaven for sure

Really enjoyed this house and all of the amenities porvided. You thought of everything from first aid to beach supplies, paper products and more. Really nice stay here, ate the giant avacados that fall off the tree and enjoyed the farmers market for local produce. Good communication with Chris and felt welcomed. Thanks for the stay

Charming Jewel of a Hawaiian Bungalow!

We were totally charmed by this roomy, airy and classic bungalow, so obviously well cared for. We were amazed by how fully and wonderfully equipped it was for guests. They thought of EVERYTHING! Gracious hosts and wonderfully helpful caretaker, to whom we are very grateful. Loved all the books. A convenient stroll to downtown Hawi, and a nice little grocery store right across the street. We certainly hope to return!!

I HIGHLY recommend Hawi Haven. The location was central to Hawi and close to shops & restaurants. The home was very clean and had ALL items we needed. They stock coffee, laundry detergent, beach towels, beach bags, shampoo, conditioner, snorkel equipment. We enjoyed the Hawaiian Music provided at the location and cute decor and Hawaiian theme items. My favorite was the breeze. There are a lot of windows in the house creating great positive airflow. The wind would blow through the windows, and it was so peaceful to sleep. No AC is needed, and I felt at home. The price was reasonable, and it was easy to book and check into. At this location, you can purchase your groceries and cook if you want to.I would love to come back.

Generously Supplied, Gracious, "Old Hawaii" House

We spent 5 weeks at Hawi Haven. Hawi is a cute little town with a great coffee spot and some quality small shops for locally produced goods. This house is very spacious and comfortable. The kitchen is large and extremely well supplied. Chris, the contact person who manages the property, was a pleasure to deal with, prompt and helpful. We hadn't appreciated how much driving we would do - but it was all worth it! Highly recommended.
