La casa Up North perfetta! Costruito nel 2006, il lungomare di questa proprietà è il punto in cui il lago di Ann incontra la foce del fiume Platte. La migliore pesca in giro! Goditi la tua prima tazza di caffè sull'ampio portico guardando l'alba e ascoltando la chiamata del lunatico. Open space con bella cucina isolana e pavimenti in parquet. Camere da letto superiori eccezionalmente grandi, che offrono molto spazio per le visite della famiglia. Il livello inferiore di sciopero è attualmente utilizzato come sala giochi e deposito per kayak. Circa 80 'sul lago di Ann e 80' sul fiume Platte.

The home is very spacious and equipped with everything you need for your stay. The location is conveniently located to Interlochen, Frankfort and Tracerse city which is a bonus for people who like to see the beauty of northern Michigan. The check-in was very easy and directions excellent

The humidity levels on the 1st floor were a bit much. Suggest getting a humidifier or a/c for the first floor. The 2nd floor was wonderful with the a/c provided.

Family Vacation

Lake Ann

Our stay on Lake Ann was very good - The kayaks and paddle boards were the best thing ! Beds were comfortable, house is centrally located to many popular Michigan sites - Cherry republic, sleeping Bear Dunes, Leland fishing town, Glen Lake, & Lake Michigan beaches. Really great family vacation -

We Loved It!

What an amazing property! We traveled with a large boat and found enough parking for several boats and trucks, beautiful views of the lake, and the most comfortable beds any of us had slept in, in a while. We will return to this property and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to others.

Very enjoyable stay

Beautiful home in a quiet area. The property is beautiful, home is spacious. Love the open floor plan on the main floor. Beautiful large windows in the living and dining room area. Loved the wrap around deck. We were able to enjoy the ping pong table in the basement, bikes and kayaks. Property owner was very quick to respond to questions. Would definitely stay again.

Family Vacation Haven

The perfect location for a Northern Michigan vacation. A spacious home with all the amenities that we needed. We enjoyed the fishing and kayaking. Everything was great! I especially liked relaxing on the deck. Even on the hottest days, it always seemed there was a cool breeze while reading or just hanging out there. The owner, Katherine, was quick to respond to any questions that I had.

This is a great lake. Wev used 3 kayaks every day and found the loon family to be quite comfortable with hanging out near kayakers. There was also a bald eagle family nesting here this year, and several different cranes and herons. Near enough to TVC but so peaceful. Also quick drives to sleeping bear dunes and many Leelenau towns. Lake Ann itself has a great general store, coffee shop, pizza place, and beer place (the latter two hosting music many nights of the week together)The house setting itself is serene. Sat and watched the resident rabbits, deer, and woodpeckers with my coffee out on the deck.Kids also used the ping pong and the corn hole.

Fabulous, Fun and Comfy at Lake Ann

My family had the absolute best time!! The house was perfect. Great kitchen with plenty of prep space and everything you could possibly need to make a great meal. I had read other reviews and they all stated the beds were VERY comfortable and they were right!! And the bedrooms were very spacious. The whole house was laid out very nice. Very clean as well. Tons of amenities! The owner responded in a timely manner to any and all questions or inquiries. The location is great too. Not far to get to our charter fishing trip on the bay. I would definitely come back and I strongly recommend this property.

Nice house

House was big and the beds were so comfortable! Great location. Clean. Kitchen had everything you could ever need. House was cool inside, I was concerned about no air conditioning but the breeze and shaded lot kept everything really comfortable. One issue we experienced was that every interior door in the house is wood, nice and heavy, but all were swollen from humidity and did not close unless you used a lot of force, and some were not able to close period. Not a huge problem but definitely loud. Overall was a great experience!

Disappointed

Stayed in 2021 and loved this so much that we booked 2022. The spacious driveway was blocked by a huge boat. Left parking difficult. Lawn was not mowed. Never did get mowed, we had an incident with ticks. Hardwood floors were not swept. We had to wash all counter tops as they were filthy. Had to rearrange the refrigerator and freezer just to get our own groceries in. We really liked the house, but were quite disappointed this year.

Some fun, fishing, relaxation and a proposal

The house fit our needs perfectly. The beds were very comfortable allowing a good night of rest. The boys were early to rise for some fishing and although a bit slow, some very nice fish were caught. The location was perfect for easy daytrips to many great destinations. Our youngest got engaged providing us with a brand new daughter-in-law. He has now moved to be closer to his fiance leaving us with a bittersweet empty nest. The house was perfect for the post-engagement celebration with plenty of room for both families. Good lifelong memories were made by all. That is the hallmark of a good vacation!
