Came in for a wedding, paid a premium rate for this unit over a holiday weekend and was one of the worst experiences. For the amount we paid we could have stayed at 5 Star Hotel. With years of hotel experience I decided to rent the Villa Capriani because they represented themselves as a "hotel" like stay with Individual units to rent. this is not the case. You have to rent linens for the bed, towels, toilet paper or anything of that matter that you would experience in a hotel stay are not provided. Not even hand soap. They went out of their way to empty this unit for a weekend rental. In addition this unit has mold in the corners and mildew in crevices of the bathrooms, not to mention cockroaches scurrying around the door. Owner was not receptive in our feedback in hopes of offering a reimbursement for modifying our stay. End of story. Do NOT stay here.

Kristen, Villa Capriani is not a hotel, and is not advertised that way. Each unit is individually owned and some of which are managed via various property management companies on behalf of the homeowner. In every property description as well as in almost every e-mail that goes out, we state that linens are not included nor any consumable items. This is a true vacation rental and we provide all guests with a list of suggested items to bring. Furthermore, you signed a Vacation Rental Agreement that put you in the contract for the dates that you reserved and clearly states our cancellation policy. As we expressed to you, we cannot refund any part of your trip if you decide to leave early. None of the complaints that you mentioned in your review were brought to our attention during your stay. We pride ourselves on resolving any housekeeping and/or maintenance issues in a timely manner. We apologize if you feel there was any miscommincation on our end. We work very hard to make sure that guests are fully aware of what is and is not included with their vacation. We also clearly state all of our policies on our website and in the Vacation Rental Agreement that guests sign.
