We truly enjoyed our time at salty kisses. The house is so spacious and perfect for multiple families. The host were very attentive to any needs we had. The little details you look for in a home, this one had it all… plenty of towels, hot showers with great water pressure, comfortable beds, everything you could think of in the kitchen to cook and serve. Overall we were very pleased with our stay and thankful for such a good experience.

The house was fantastic! So comfortable for our family of 15. We loved having so much space and walking to the beach across the street. The beach view from the balcony was amazing! The spacious kitchen provided everything we needed to help prepare our Thanksgiving feast. Laguna Beach is beautiful! We enjoyed quick trips to Pier Park and a short journey over to the outlets of Destin. Our host was always in touch and I appreciated that. Thank you for the wonderful hospitality.

Family Vacation

Salty Kisses is a wonderful house with lots of room for our family of 10. The kitchen has everything you need for cooking, the pool and decks were perfect for lounging, the rooms were spacious and clean, and everyone had their own bathroom! Christy (property manager) prepared/presented the house beautifully prior to our arrival such that when we walked in we knew vacation time was starting! As a side note, we experienced Tropical Storm Fred and never lost power nor felt unsafe in the house.

Amazing all around experience

Our family of five children and 7 grandchildren came from all over the country to surprise their father on his 60 birthday. We couldn't have chosen a better location and home. The home is stunning and well appointed. Easy beach access with gulf views from the living area balcony and master bedrooms in the front. The kitchen was large with open concept in to the dining room and living room. All 17 of us could eat our meals together. I have rented many homes through VRBO and this was by far the easiest and the most efficient management program I have ever used. Wonderful stay with wonderful memories made. Thank You! Pretty, well appointed house

Beds comfortable, kitchen well appointed, new construction. Most annoying thing was the plumbing alarm went off several times during our stay. I was told the grinder unit was undersized and they were having it replaced, so it shouldn't be a problem for future tenant. The response when we called was polite and prompt. The building is not well sound proofed, so we could hear our neighbors more than I would have liked.

Amazing Property

We were there the first week of April. The house is beautiful and provides a lot of room for everyone. The kitchen was well stocked with everything that we needed including crock pots. We had a couple of issues, one was a stain on the bedding, but maintenance came and took care of it right away once we brought it to their attention. The other was the refrigerator/freezer started warming up at 9 PM one evening. We contacted management and once again they had a repair person there by 10 PM to repair it so all our food was safe. Management was very responsive. The walk to the beach was very easy, and the view of the beach was wonderful. When we booked the property the specifics said that all beds with the exception of the bunk room were king size beds. That was not the case as there were a couple of queen size beds. I looked at the specifics now, and it does list the queen size beds. Overall it was a great week at a beautiful home!

The house and location was amazing. Although the house was dirty.

The house was beautiful and fit our family of 14 well. Location was great for the beach as well. Only 1 commplaint house was very dirty. We planned a family dinner and moved some of the furniture a little to find people’s socks, empty water bottles and major dust bunnies. Kitchen sink and countertops were not clean. So I feel if I pay a cleaning fee of almost $700 it should be clean when I arrive. And not have to spend half a day cleaning for other family to arrive.

Hello Wendi, Thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. We do apologize for the cleanliness of the home. That is not our standard and unacceptable for a guest to spend their first day cleaning. I do not see that this was ever reported to us. If things like this are reported to us immediately we will address them same day and refund the cleaning fee. If it's not reported during your stay we are not aware of the issue and cannot resolve it. Again we do apologize and would love to welcome you back for a future stay in any of our rental homes.

Wonderful vacation with family! Plenty of room, very clean, will definitely stay here again!!

Property great-Holiday Rentals not so great

Will not stay anywhere Holiday Rentals is managing the property. We were notified on Saturday at the beginning of our stay that the washer was out and it would be Monday before they could get a repair guy out. Monday rolls around and they tell us it will be Wednesday. Wednesday rolled round and they tell us it will be Thursday because the repair service double booked. I call Holiday Rentals and ask to speak to a manager and was told she was unavailable. I explain to the clerk on the phone that they just need to replace the washer because the price we paid included a washer and dryer. She informed me that they would launder what clothes we needed washed, I told her that that is Unacceptable because with a 3 year old child that is in the process of being potty trained that we really needed a washer. The manager finally called me back and pretty much gave me the same story as the clerk but finally said if they couldn't get a repair guy out on Thursday they would replace it, which they did but we only had one day left on our week long stay. They offered no reimbursement at all for the inconvience. We also found out from the reviews that the washer was out for the group that booked a week before us so the management should have replaced it on day one knowing it was an ongoing issue.

Hello Janet, firstly we would like to apologize for the situation with the washer. Unfortunately we were at the mercy of a 3rd party repair company and there were unforeseen issues with their scheduling. Additionally we have to have approval from the homeowner before proceeding with a replacement versus a repair. We are the management company not the homeowner. You are correct in stating there was a review from a prior guest about the washing machine and our team offered to do their laundry for them and they accepted. The issue was unable to be repaired during the previous guest’s stay due to not having a part and that is why we had to call out the repair company and notified you before your arrival. However, it was determined later during your stay the best option would be to replace the washer which was replaced during your stay. Our property management company offered to do your laundry for you but you declined as you were uncomfortable having us handle your clothing. After stating you preferred to wash your own clothes our property management team stated you could provide us with receipts to show whatever the cost was to wash your clothes and we would reimburse you; you declined that offer as well. Again, we do apologize for the inconvenience during your stay. Our team strives to have each home ready and perfect for each guest and unfortunately we fail short this time and tried to remedy the situation to the best of our ability.

A great family vacation

We rented together with two other families, and the space was perfect for our crew. The view from the balconies is fantastic and the proximity to the beach can’t be beat.

Salty Kisses

New, clean, well stocked, comfortable mattress, TV in every room and good WIFI signal. Great location.

Location, location, location

Wonderful property - so comfortable and accommodating for our family of 18. Looks just like the photos. It was fabulous to be right across the street from the gorgeous beach. The kids were so excited to spot stingrays in the water so close to them. This was the perfect place for us. Though we had a few problems with a broken dishwasher and leaking faucet, they were addressed well and quickly by the property management company.

Family Vacation

We had a great time staying here. The house was spacious and comfortable. The weather was so so bc of a hurricane the previous week but we still had a blast. Plenty of room for our 11 adults and very convenient location for the beach. Great views!
