Christina's group was exceptional. They endured 2 tropical storms with multiple power and internet disruptions. They battled through it all, including taking precautions to ensure the return of power would not cause damage to appliances. I can highly recommend this family.

The house had everything needed for a month long stay. Beautiful view of the ocean, entertained by the chickens and lots of space for family. It made for a relaxing stay.

Location was perfect

We had an awesome time at Paul’s house. The huge grassy park and beach entrance were definitely the highlight. I already miss the sound of the ocean!

There is NO WAY! the house had a urine smell. It had been vacant for 4 weeks prior to their arrival, except for my wife & I who stayed at the house during July and have our own bathroom upstairs. The house was thoroughly cleaned by our housekeeper on July 1. The bathrooms were cleaned again by myself on July 29 the day before their arrival. Ocean breezes go through the house 7x24. If there had been any such smell we would have certainly noticed. These guests behaved very strangely. Never mentioned any odd smells when they had a chance. This is a bogus report.

Oahu beach holiday

Great location. Ocean views from the deck and a short walk to a beautiful beach. The house is what you’d expect for the price. It was well equipped for everything we needed inside and at the beach. Our only complaints were that the beds were too firm for our liking and we had to keep on top of the flies that made their way in. We enjoyed our time there and would happily rent it again.

Great host and house!

My family and I (6 adults, 4 kids) stayed at this house. Paul is a personable, professional host. He is very prompt with his communication. My family really appreciated the “things to do in the area” list he had passed along to us. The house was very comfortable for the 10 of us. You can not beat the view or the very short walk to the beach. Mahalo, Paul!

Perfect home for family stay

Absolutely wonderful!! We had lots of kids and us and the home worked perfect for us! Paul is an amazing host and the home was perfect for a long term stay. Many days we spent several trips over to the beach and enjoyed the close view of the ocean, the beautiful sunrises, and remembered to look the other way at the gorgeous mountains. We would definitely stay again if we get a chance!!

Laie house

We enjoyed staying in Laie. Although, there were a lot of hiccups. No property manager available to help us out because they were out of town! But owner was very helpful. He responded right away. He tried to help us with everything that was going wrong. He even compensated on all the trouble we were having with the hot water, toilet and dryer. We had permission to break into the utility closet to grab toilet paper. He also let us borrow the beach equipment for free. We do wish the place had an AC window unit because during the day the house was very hot and muggy. We loved the area we stayed it. Thanks Paul! We hope you could fix some things and we would come back to stay.

A great family stay in Laie

We enjoyed a great family vacation in Hawaii at Paul's Laie house. Every morning started with a sunrise walk. The location was perfect for us: the only thing between you and the beach is a large green lawn of a public park. Paul is a great host, helpful and quick to respond. While this is not 5 star resort living, the house was great for our family of 10: a large covered deck, bbq, 2 bathrooms, laundry, parking for 3 cars, a shed full of beach toys and shopping/food nearby. Biggest con was that the two west facing bedrooms got hot during the day, in particular when the trade winds stopped blowing.
