Such a peaceful quiet area. Chose it to be away from but shorter trip to Milwaukee. The lake was amazing and sunsets beautiful. Our hosts were very accommodating and the home was well maintained and comfortable. Outside of the tasteful but maybe inappropriate for elementary age kids pictures in the lower level a great place to stay. Would recommend.Also, we were able to rent kayaks from Pato Locos Outdoor destinations for our time on the lake. Kayaks were delivered and allowed us to explore the lake by water. Very easy and would highly recommend.

Beautiful lake home

This lake house is in a beautiful location with stunning sunsets. As a family five, we really enjoyed ourselves and felt quite relaxed and at home here.

Beautiful property, one of the best VRBOs we’ve stayed at. The kitchen was fully stocked including spices and condiments. It also had plenty of pods for the laundry. Good water pressure in the showers. The house is well decorated, perfect for a lake house. The attention to detail was wonderful. Beautiful bar in the walkout basement. Cleanliness was also great, the house smelled clean and fresh. They even had a guest book to sign. I loved the drive into Indian Pointe. The road just prior to the property is a surrounded on both side by a marsh land, just beautiful. As advertised the sunsets were top notch. Couple things to keep in mind, the lake has a lot of sea weed in it. The lake is decently clear but I know some folks have a hard time swimming in the sea weed. My kids didn’t care and jumped in. The water is about 3” deep right near the edge of the dock. There isn’t much right in town, a kwik stop and a dollar general. The closest town is Beaver Dam which has Piggly Wiggly, Walmart, Starbucks, etc, and is about 15 minutes away. Overall 10/10 VRBO. Top notch!

Great view

The house was wonderful equipped with most needs for a stay very clean the sunset views perfect a little walk to town to Mullins drive in for a chili Dog We seen Deere snapping turtle and when we return it was fun waiting for sunset watching the ground squirrels heads up a lot of shops and the other drive in closed on Mondays

Amazing Lake House Stay!

We had such an wonder time here, myself and two friends visited for a weekend, and it was so beautiful. The house was gorgeous itself and had everything we needed and more, and the lake videos were absolutely incredible. We loved getting to relax by the lake, play scrabble, and wander. We caught some music, had an amazing dinner, and got the best possible view of the fireworks for the 4th of July celebration. Thanks so much for sharing this property with us, we had a wonderful time!

Beautiful Lake Views

This property is set up perfect! Beautiful views from inside the house, exterior decks and terraces. The house was very clean and included many amenities for an enjoyable stay. Another adult bed would have made our stay even better. Although the pull out couch was a little uncomfortable, we made it work.

Overall nice stay, almost 5 stars

Lovely stay! Beautiful lake home, spacious, clean and well taken care of. Loved the large deck, fire pit and dock! The owner was very responsive and accommodating! My party was surprised that checkout was 10am - this seems earlier than many properties, including most hotels. Also, the $175 cleaning fee plus the cleanup directions of stripping the beds, empty garbage/recycling and place in receptacles in the driveway and wash/put away dishes seemed excessive, considering the steep cleaning fee.

Hi! Thank you so much for the kind review. I'm glad you enjoyed the home and property. The check out time is set to 10 AM as most days there are check out and check in's on the same day and we need to allow time the cleaning crew time to get everything done in the time allotted prior to the next guests checking in later that same day. Other homes list on VRBO on our lake also follow the same check out / check in times for that same reason. I will be flexible if a guest asks me to accommodate a later check out / early check in if there isn't a same day out / in. We ask guest to strip the beds so the cleaning staff knows which beds have been used to ensure our guests always have clean linens. We take pride in how clean the home is. The cleaning folks are very, very thorough and spend a lot of time to ensure everything is spotless. So, the cleaning fee does reflect the amount of time spent cleaning the home. I hope this helps clarify the check out time and cleaning fee. We hope you'll stay with us again. Thanks so much for choosing our home.

Looking for a peaceful relaxing vacation , this is the perfect place to stay!

I researched several vacation homes to find the perfect environment for my husband's 50th Birthday. I reached out to the owner Jeanette before booking our reservations and she was extremely attentive to my questions. The home was beautiful with the perfect motif for the ambiance of the lake and cabin feel. We were able to dock our boat on their peer and either peer fish or take the boat out. We caught pan fish and bass. There were two restaurants to dock the boat and get a bite to eat which was convenient. At night the sunsets were beautiful and the firepit was so relaxing overlooking the lake. It was an amazing 4 days and we look forward to going back next year! I would recommend this vacation home to anybody that is looking for a relaxing picturesque vacation home!
