Hi Jeannie, Thank you for the amazing review! We’re so happy your family had such a wonderful retreat and loved the home, beach proximity, and pool. Sounds like the pool may have had a little friendly competition with the ocean — we’ll let the waves know they have some serious competition! We’re thrilled the home gave your family the perfect mix of fun, relaxation, and privacy. Thank you for choosing to stay with us. We’d love to welcome your family back for more unforgettable memories! Best regards, Benchmark Management

Thank you for your feedback. We’re sorry to hear that this was your impression of your stay. Upon reviewing the reservation, our team did have multiple interactions and interventions during the stay due to significant issues reported at the property, including a large unauthorized gathering with underage drinking, which required involvement from local authorities and ultimately led to the reservation being terminated. There were also instances where entry to the property occurred after eviction, along with reported damages and violations of house rules. Given the circumstances, our team was actively engaged in addressing these matters to ensure the safety of the property and compliance with local regulations. We strive to provide a positive experience for all guests and maintain clear communication, and we regret that this situation resulted in a negative impression.

Thank you for your great review! We’re so glad to hear you enjoyed your stay and found the location convenient to shops and restaurants. We appreciate your helpful tip about booking bike rentals in advance — that’s great advice for future guests. Thank you also for your note about the living space — it’s helpful feedback and we’re always looking to improve the experience. We’d love to host you again anytime!

Hi Kimberly, thanks for staying with us at this property and for providing us with this review. We truly value your feedback! Your comments regarding the kitchen utensils have been taken into account and passed along to the proper parties. Please note however that had this been brought to our attention during the stay, we would have made the necessary checks and had someone from the team deliver additional pots and pans. We are also sorry that the internet was inconsistent. Please note hwoever that while most of our units have access to the internet; the service is not guaranteed as it is provided by a third party company. In the event guests experience issues with the WiFi; our team can only try to trouble shoot and then make contact with the relevant internet company. Please note that guest satisfaction means a lot to us as such we have reached out to the company to see how the service can be improved. Please note as well that our team will be making the necessary checks with the dryer and the stairs to ensure that they will not pose as issues for future stays. We want to thank you again for choosing to stay with us and do hope we can welcome you again soon for an even better vacation experience we know we can provide. Regards Benchmark Management

Thank you for choosing to stay with us and for sharing your feedback. We’re thrilled to hear you enjoyed the location and its easy access to the beach, as well as the spaciousness of the property for your family. It’s also great to know that you liked the nearby dining options. We apologize for the inconvenience you experienced with the Wi-Fi. While most of our properties offer internet access, issues can arise from external factors like device compatibility and weather. We always strive to troubleshoot these issues, and if needed, we contact the internet provider for assistance. Regarding the pool heat, we conduct checks before charging guests and communicate any issues promptly. If a problem arises after payment, we ensure to issue a refund as needed. We have already contacted the appropriate company to resolve this for future stays. We also sent someone to address the ice maker issue, but unfortunately, our team was unable to fix it, so we reached out to a third-party service for help. Additionally, please note that complimentary bikes are not included with this property. The bikes you mentioned were likely rented from a third-party company by previous guests, which is why we don’t have access codes for them. We will have our team make the necessary checks on the beach wagon. Thanks for bringing this to our attention. Thank you again for your stay, and we hope to welcome you back in the future for a much better vacation experience which we know we can provide! Regards, Benchmark Management

We appreciate you taken the time to give your feedback on Southern Grounds, it is a beautiful place and your right that day bed is a little slice of heaven. We are very sorry for the cons- the ants can get a little out of control at times but we do try to stay on top of it and spray regularly. We can definitely pass on your idea of a vacuum for the pool to the owners as well as the internet not reaching the outside tv. We hope that you will give us another chance to provide you with another 5 star stay and more family memories. Sincerely, Benchmark Management

We are so happy that you loved your stay and that you loved the proximity of the property to the beach access! Your comments regarding the balcony have been taken into account! We do hope we can welcome you again soon for an even better vacation experience! Regards, Benchmark Management
