Benvenuto a Hale Hamakua!

Questa bellissima camera da letto con 4 camere da letto e 2 bagni si trova in un appezzamento di terreno privato lungo la costa di Hamakua, appena a nord di Hilo, dove non c'è nulla che possa bloccare la vista del potente Pacifico! Le grandi finestre aperte riempire la casa con la luce, bellezza e una magnifica vista. Venite durante i mesi invernali e si avrà un posto in prima fila per tutte le attività di balena che si può eventualmente prendere in.

La cucina è grande e facile da lavorare e, naturalmente, ha tutti i comfort necessari per cucinare quei deliziosi piatti dell'isola. La camera da letto principale con il suo bagno en-suite, letto king size, lanai vista mare privata e centro di intrattenimento con TV e DVD è la fuga perfetta dopo una lunga giornata di visite turistiche.

Per gli altri membri della famiglia e dei bambini, c'è anche una sala TV con un'altra TV a schermo piatto e un lettore DVD. Ci sono altre 3 camere da letto con una regina, un letto full size e una doppia, e 2 divani letto singoli nel soggiorno. Ognuno ottiene il proprio spazio!

Da questa posizione conveniente, esplorare la vecchia città di Hilo con il suo grande mercato degli agricoltori e musei storici e deve vedere fermate. Scoprite anche il bellissimo Akaka Water Falls Park e l'Old Mamalahoa Highway, l'originale autostrada costruita negli anni '20 che vi portò dalla città di Hilo alla bellissima regione dei cavalli di Waimea.

Dalla casa, sei a soli 20 minuti a sud da Hilo, a 20 minuti a nord dalla città di Honokaa, dalla Valle di Waipio e da lì a pochi minuti dalla bellissima spiaggia di sabbia bianca di Hapuna.

Absolutely LOVED staying here. We had a couple people in our group that have a fragrance allergy and the host was very accommodating washing bedding & towels with fragrance-free products ahead of time. The property is beautiful and a great, quiet spot to relax. We enjoyed the patio area, great scenery. This was a perfect spot just 20 minutes from Hilo. Thank you so much!

We especially appreciated the very friendly and helpful service — when we had a small problem in the kitchen, it was taken care of immediately.A few things to be aware of: although the house is very close to the ocean, direct access to the water is unfortunately not possible because the descent is too steep and dangerous. There were also quite a lot of mosquitoes during our stay.Overall, we enjoyed our time at Hale Hamakua!

The host was very welcoming and ready to talk/ text with when needed. The house was well stocked with what we needed. I would recommend buying the groceries etc needed before heading up to the house. The view was amazing and the privacy was what we love. The foliage in the east side of the island was phenomenal!!!

Great little property about 25 minutes north of Hilo. Property was as described with a beautiful view of the ocean with perfect sunrises! Great for a family or group. Property was clean and well maintained. Very quiet (besides normal country sounds like roosters, frogs, geckos,ect. which we find pleasant and normal) and private location with well stocked kitchen, gas grill, beach items available, beautifully landscaped yard, and responsive hosts/property management. Not much for cell phone reception but there is WiFi, and lots to do in the near area. They have a/c in the bedrooms if needed. We enjoyed our stay! Thanks!

Hilo side tropical paradise

This house was excellent for the 2 of us , our 2 grandsons and our Mother-in-law.Gorgeous view from the covered lanai, multiple whale sitings and easy access to Hilo, Volcano and lots of fun hikes.Well appointed kitchen , good AC and pretty decent WiFi a godsend since there was 0 cell reception!Our concierge was extremely responsive and helpful and we even enjoyed the roosters!

Perfect for our family vacation!

This house was such a lovely welcome for us on our first trip to Hawaii! The house was spotless (our most important criteria) and provided everything we needed for a fantastic week, including beach towels and a cooler. Plus, the view from the back deck is breathtaking! I could have stayed out there all week except that there are so many things to do on the big island. Mahalo for an unforgettable vacation!

It’s a beautiful property, perfectly located overlooking the ocean a pleasant drive outside Hilo. We spent four wonderful days there while attending the Merrie Monarch competition and craft fairs. Communication with the rental company was easy and questions answered in a timely manner. Check in and out was smooth and everything was as described. The house was perfect for our family of 7. The views are amazing and the property well kept. It's about a 30 minute drive north of downtown Hilo. So quiet and peaceful. The keys were in a lockbox and we had no trouble checking in or checking out. We did not need to contact the host during our stay but did get messages with directions before arrival and reminders prior to checkout. We really enjoyed the local feel of the property and look forward to coming back!

Big Island Celebration

The property was plenty big for our party of eight. There were spots for all of us to have time to ourselves after a day of sightseeing or spending time at the beach. Though it is far from the Kona sights, we didn't mind. There is plenty to see and do in Hilo. Volcanoes National Park is only about an hour away as is Hapuna Beach for snorkeling. The zoo in Hilo is well-kept, beautiful, and free! We had a wonderful time celebrating college graduations on this beautiful property.

Big Island Adventure

A very spacious house that accommodated 9 of us. We chose this location for a family gathering because we live on opposite sides of the world; coming from the Midwest in the U.S. to Japan. Peaceful view on a bluff with a nice outdoor deck. Quiet setting. Lots of outdoor beauty to explore. Volcanos, waterfalls, incredible ocean shores and even an area with hot pools. About 20 minutes to Hilo.

Secluded Oasis

This property is exactly as it's described. It is outside of town (Hilo) by a bit but we knew this going in. The views are spectacular and if you love the sounds of nature this place is for you. The directions are spot on and check in was very easy. The house is perfectly appointed and we loved having the use of beach chairs, boogie boards and the beach umbrella. I would highly recommend this place for groups and families!

Private and Comfortable

We enjoyed our stay at Hale Hamakua. The view and grounds were beautiful. We loved the birds and geckos. We had two couples and the two beds we used were comfortable, and we appreciated the beach towels, chairs, and ice chest (although we could have used a smaller one...). The labeled light switches were a nice touch. The kitchen had everything we needed as far as cookware and dinnerware although it would have been nice to have a few spices available. The main road was close, but the road noise was minimal. We would stay here again!

It's close to Hilo, but still only a short drive to some great snorkeling locations on the Kona side. There are some great hikes just a few minutes away. Nice house on Hamakua coast

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Our group of four adults found the house to be comfortable. We cooked most of our meals at the house and found that it had what we needed in regard to pots and pans etc. The main disappointment in that regard was the lack of a good gas BBQ (although there is a small grill).

We are so happy you had a wonderful and comfortable stay ! The property manager literally just replaced the grill with a new gas grill yesterday. They deteriorate so rapidly here, especially at an Oceanfront home. We'll also take a look at the pots and pans.
