Excellent séjour pour notre groupe de douze personnes (jeunes et adultes) dans cette spacieuse maison à deux pas du château de Versailles! LaMaison était propre, toutes les commodités sont disponibles afin de rendre le séjour très confortable. Les chambres sont très grandes, le jardin est magnifique. Il a été facile de se rendre à Paris quotidiennement à partir de la gare la plus proche. Le cartier est également splendide! Autre point très fort, la gentillesse et l'accueil des propriétaires, nous espérons avoir l'occasion d'y retourner un jour! Merci les Marette!

A most excellent place to stay on the outskirts of Paris. Our family enjoyed a week here and had a great time. The home is perfect for families as there are plenty of bedrooms and places to spread out. It has a lot of interesting history too. It's a five minute Uber to the train station and fron there you can get to anywhere. If we ever return to Paris, this will be our first choice for accommodations.

A perfectly wonderful french holiday home! Spacious rooms, beautiful furnishings, Everything you could ask for, close to restaurants, shopping, train, Paris, markets, uber accessible. Hosts are very helpful and friendly. The gardens are amazing and so private. We highly recommend this lovely home. Far exceeded our expectations. A real treasure!

An absolute dream

We booked this house to make our daughter’s 10th birthday more of a family and friend reunion. The house was perfect. We had 9 adults and 1 child. Not only did the house work on a practical level with plenty of communal space, bathrooms, laundry, and dining, but the beauty of this home made the trip for all of us. I could not believe the home was even more spectacular than the pictures. Staying in a family home also made us feel more a part of the community than a hotel. We shopped at local markets, pet the fluffiest Great Pyrenees dog who always popped his head over the fence on our lovely walk to the train, and made a habit of grabbing a coffee at the cafe across from the platform. We bought amazing wine from a shop a block away that also sells appliances, hosts wine tastings, and rescues cats. The local supermarket has amazing selections of meats, cheese, and fish. We cooked together between fabulous French restaurants. Our 10 year old was so inspired by French cuisine she even tried and loved duck confit and escargot. The hosts of this property were an absolute delight. They helped us with dinner reservations that worked perfectly with our schedule, they were available for tips on an array of needs, and were kind enough to join us for an evening. Everyone of our guests loved this location and would return. If you want to experience France at its finest look no further.

A wonderful family Christmas

Amazing accomodation

It was an absolutely awesome time we had. The accomodation has all the luxuries of an actual chalet and the hosts were so hospitable and generous. We can highly recommend the Marettes!

Fantastisch huis om te verblijven

De eigenaar is heel prettig in de omgang, aankomst en vertrek zeer goed geregeld. Je krijgt al informatie over omgeving, tips, ed voor dat je aankomt. Alles is aanwezig, het is een sprookjeshuis. Zoals onze kleindochter zei: ik wil hier in dit kasteel blijven wonen, als een prinses. (3 jaar)

Lovely family home

This is a lovely family house and the owners were exceptionally helpful and friendly. The house is very well equipped although a few more cups with handles in the kitchen would have been better. Only 1 toilet on each floor and none in the en-suites was a bit of a negative. A short drive to the station takes you into central Paris in 30 minutes. Thank you Kristin & Cyrille for making our time in La Celle memorable.

A Fantastic Experience!

My friends and I — eight of us in total — spent five days in Paris after a week in Bordeaux. I chose this property based on its proximity to Paris as well as its size and amenities, and I was NOT disappointed! Our hosts, Cyrille and Kristen, were amazing. They were always on hand to help us if needed, and made our stay smooth and enjoyable. They especially went out of their way to assist us with a few “glitches” some of my friends experienced — well above and beyond what I could ever have expected. And we TRULY appreciated it. Oh, and the champagne toast and great conversation the night before we left was an added bonus! The home itself is beautiful and well-appointed. The beds are really comfortable, the kitchen it nice and big, and the dining room table fit eight of us easily. I would not hesitate to recommend this location if you’re planning to visit Paris. You will love it.

Golf Trip tra amici

Ho organizzato un viaggio di golf tra amici e viste le restrizioni per il COVID 19 cercavamo una casa che potesse ospitare comodamente 12 adulti per creare una specie di “bolla”. A tal proposito ho chiesto al proprietario se fosse possibile avere un servizio di Catering che ci aiutasse per organizzare le cene in casa e nonostante il breve preavviso ha trovato una soluzione ideale! Tra l’altro la casa dispone di un magnifico tavolo rotondo dove ci si sta anche in 12 e questo ha reso le nostre serate ancora più piacevoli. Complessivamente siamo stati molto bene durante il nostro soggiorno, Cyrille (il proprietario) si è dimostrato attento ad ogni nostra esigenza. I dintorni sono molto carini e tranquilli e i campi da golf vicini molto belli. Vivamente consigliata!

Beautiful House Near Paris

Beautiful home full of character a stone’s throw away from Paris. Easy access to all of the city’s highlights. Versailles VERY close. Gorgeous garden, reasonably small - no real space for ball games - but still big enough to enjoy. Owners stayed some nights in a small house on the grounds and were very helpful and knowledgeable about the area. The house itself is pretty luxurious and very comfortable, but is lived in, and consequently could possibly do with slightly more space for hanging clothes etc. It was also sometimes rather noisy at night with parties, though this could possibly have been one-offs. Overall, a very enjoyable week had by all (we were a party of three families ranging from a baby, kids and teens to fully-fledged adults). Thanks for a wonderful stay.

Heerlijke tijd gehad in deze prachtige villa. Alleen de eettafel is iets te klein. Verder perfect.

Perfecte communicatie met eigenaar Cyrille gehad. Hij heeft ons geweldig geholpen in de voorbereiding, oa met een handige online kaart. Zeer bereikbaar en goede (Engelstalige) communicatie.

Beware of trash can scheme

We took a group to Paris for a film competition and chose this home for our week-long stay. Based on the pictures, we were very excited about the accommodations. When we arrived, we were surprised to find the home was less impressive than expected. There is no toilet in the master bathroom. You must leave the suite and go across the hall to use the restroom. The kitchen is much smaller than the pictures show so although the house will sleep 14, the kitchen will not accommodate about 4-5 people. The towels and linens were very inadequate both in quality and in supply. The towels were very rough and I would estimate at least a decade old. The master closet was full of the owner’s clothes and personal items. When we left, the owner sent us a bill for a $400 trash can that we supposedly cracked. In the entire home, with 13 people in our group, supposedly the only thing that was broken was an overpriced trash can located under the master bathroom vanity. I’m not sure if this is standard behavior from the owner but it didn’t seem legitimate.
