Viva Vivaro!

We just spent a week at Vivaro Oceanfront with 9 adults (rented both houses). We could not have been more delighted with the accommodations. Both houses are nearly identical and served us well. The location is great. Just far enough out of town that you can get away, but also a super easy walk to everything. Houses are extremely well equipped with everything you need. Super spacious great room. Wonderful bedrooms with very spacious bathrooms. Highly recommend.

Special place to share with family and ring in the new year.

The list of things this property has on my first class list is long and impressive. The comfort and beauty of both the North and South houses are amazing. Our whole group (14) talked about how special the houses are. From the sleeping/bathroom arrangements to the world class first floor, deck, pool area, it is special. Also, the access to West End activities is very simple, and so many things to do. The entire staff of indoor (house cleaning), and outdoo (pool, landscape), were very pleasant. Matt the local property manager is also a special resource for Vivaro guests, his support and accessibility really help with all the little things on these types of trips. At his reccomendation we had really fun activities, and really good food. Thank you Vivaro Roatan for a very special trip. We will be back

Great stay at Vivaro Roatan Oceanfront (North and South House!)

Our group of 16 adults and kids had a great time during our stay in Roatan! We rented both the North and South Oceanfront homes, and our group wandered back and forth between them easily during our stay. The homes and outdoor space were lovely, clean, and well kept. We were a very short walk away from all the main section of West End had to offer - restaurants, shops, beach, etc. The management team was responsive to any questions we had and was helpful when we asked for recommendations. It was a lovely trip and I wouldn't hesitate to stay at Vivaro Roatan Oceanfront again!

Fantastic place!

Everything about this house is fabulous. Spectacular views and watching sunsets from the pool are the best! It is a short walk to town and very convenient to all the restaurants and stores. This was our second time going and Loved it just as much as the first. Tanya and all the staff are great and very helpful.

Amazing house, staff and close walk to town

The property is extremely clean with a beautiful view. The downstairs area is open and perfect for hanging out during the day with a group of friends. The staff that came by was extremely nice and respectful. Can’t wait to go back to this property!

Fabulous!!!

Had a fabulous stay at the Vivaro Oceanfront property! The two homes are absolutely beautiful and the views are stunning. The homes are very well stocked and maintained and had plenty of space for our party of 12. Matt was there from day one to show us everything and even popped in to check on us during the week. This was a 5 star vacation, and we can’t wait to return!!

Wonderful property & location!

Wonderful property! Owners and help were great (Tanya, Matt and Marty)! The property is the perfect location - away from noise and busy downtown area but a 5-minute walk to everything you need. No car necessary. Great restaurants close by; great kitchen for cooking in and wonderful local fresh fruit and vegetable market a 5-minute walk away. The pineapple was absolutely wonderful! We had divers in our group that loved the location; we did some snorkeling nearby and took the water taxi to West Bay for snorkeling, as well. We had a wonderful time and absolutely loved the two houses!

Vivaro Oceanfront is a great value

We, as a group of 9 adults and 6 children ages 2 and 6, stayed at the North & South House. It is very difficult to write this review without repeating what has already been posted. One attribute not previously mentioned - the shallow end of the pool encompasses almost Πof the entire footprint and is only about 10 inches deep which is ideal for small children and less stressful for parents. The house, the pool, the property, the cleanliness, and the amenities are all that you would expect of a luxury accommodation. The pool and deck along with the kitchen, great room and all the bedrooms are much more spacious than what is found at most vacation rentals.

Amazing home, perfect location

The houses were beautiful, such a gorgeous property. The living area opening to the outdoor space is dreamy. Kitchen is fully stocked which made the weekend very easy. The AC worked really well in all the rooms, the safe and cleaning service was such a nice touch too. The full service of the island was just amazing, so thankfully for how easy our weekend was!!!

Best rental we’ve ever experienced April 2022

.these properties and team make the trip as clean and comfortable as possible. Modern, clean, beautiful. Sits JUST off the beaten path making the stay a perfect combo of serene and accessible (by foot) to everything on West End/West Bay coast. Our first trip to the island was a rousing success and there’s no question we will be back ASAP. Absolutely Fabulous!!

We rented both homes for a group of 22 people over the Christmas holiday and could not have been happier. The houses are spacious, well-maintained and very clean. There was plenty of room for large groups to hang out together or spread out and get some quiet time. Matt, the property manager, was amazing. He was always available to answer a question or help arrange an activity. The location felt private but it was only a quick walk to town for restaurants, snorkeling and the water taxi. You won't regret booking at Vivaro!

Perfect Stay in Paradise

Our group of 10 adults had the best stay at Vivaro Oceanfront Roatan! The house is as shown in online pictures, but even better in person. We took in nearly all our sunsets from the pools/patio areas of the two homes. One evening we enjoyed watching a couple dozen dolphins meandering and feeding just offshore from us in the pool. We loved the open air feel to the home with the accordion doors open, providing easy access to our in and out making drinks and so on. The Bose sound system was fabulous and we enjoyed streaming music on it from our phones while hanging outside. The French press was handy for coffee and we used the blender as well; the kitchen had everything we needed. Prior to our arrival, the owner made herself readily available for questions and gave lots of useful tips. Our host, Matt, was endlessly helpful! Before we arrived, he helped inform us on lots of important details. To name a few things, he arranged Covid-19 testing at the house with the results delivered later that day, scheduled massages on our oceanfront deck, suggested a couple of in-home chef experiences and arranged the one we chose with Chef Blackie (hands down our best meal in Roatan--wishing we would've done more of that--and it was very reasonably priced), and set us up on an East End Tour that was a day we will never forget! It was basically a private bar-hopping boat tour through a mangrove tunnel and around some beautiful coves on the East end. It was an adventurous and fun day with Keith, from Tyler's crew! Another service we used was a grocery delivery service via Concierge Roatan. It was so convenient to have a list beforehand that we were all able to add to and get all the grocery shopping and schlepping out of the way before we even got settled into the house--totally worth the service fee! We loved the town of West End and it was such a pretty and convenient walk into town from the house. The beaches were clean, no seaweed, and barely even any people without cruise ships running. We loved floating in the ocean, drinking, snorkeling and listening to live music at Ginger's and had a nice time everywhere we ended up in all of Roatan. We had a rowdy good time at Sundowners our first night too. We had only wonderful experiences and were met with only patience and kindness throughout our trip. We all fell in love with Roatan! Just can't wait to go back, and we will definitely choose Vivaro Oceanfront again--BEST TRIP EVER!

A stunning spot within West End

I had the wonderful opportunity to stay in both the south house and north house- they are basically the same luxurious home with a slightly different layout. The modern features in each will make you want to move in immediately!! Pictures do not do this place justice! Inside is spacious, bedrooms equipped with AC, (remaining parts of the house with fans), beds are very comfortable, dark curtains to assure for best sleep, awesome showers, towels, everything was immaculate, wifi, tv, great sound system, stainless steal kitchen appliances- big island perfect for preparing food, granite countertops, huge refrigerator with fresh water and ice cubes, microwave, toaster, blender for making drinks! washer and dryer included. All of the amenities provide the luxury of your own home while vacationing on a beautiful island. outside there is an amazing patio with plenty of outdoor furniture- 4 reclining chase lounge chairs, 2 outdoor sofas, and a lovely round patio chair perfect for relaxing or reading a book. There is a pergola forming a shaded sitting area with a table and 6 chairs underneath where we enjoyed lunch many times. Captivating infinity pool with different depths- perfect for children and adults alike and a breathtaking view of the iron shore. You can even put the lounge chairs in the most shallow part of the pool!! Beautiful design! Convenience was key- close to the center of town, grocery stores, amazing restaurants, dive shops, bars and cute places to buy souvenirs including the rusty fish (everything made on the island from recycled materials which supports local families) I went to the dive shop almost every morning as I got certified at “Sun Divers” and the walk was just a quick 5 minutes from Vivaro- it was so easily accessible and I felt very safe walking there. Simply inquire for special events and contests- can be found on a facebook page- fundraiser at “bananarama” just a quick boat taxi from half moon bay— got the opportunity to interact with locals and learn about the marine park. everyone was friendly and informative. food tasting— various restaurants from the island came together and had a cook off. Got to try unique and delicious foods such as stuffed jalapeños from “Gingers”, bitter balls, coconut shrimp, tacos and more!! All of the the food I tried on the island was to-die-for! Delicious fresh fruit from a little stand in the middle of town. Taco Tuesday at “Off the Hook”, amazing Italian food at “Pazzo”, FRESH bakery!!

Amazing family and friends vacation!

This was our second year in a row staying at Vivaro, and it did not disappoint. Last year it was just our family of four, this year, we rented both the North and South houses and had a group of 8 adults and 10 kids. The trip couldn't have gone any better. There was plenty of space for all 18 of us. We never felt like we were stepping on each others toes and the kids had a blast switching rooms and beds every night. We always had plenty of hot water for all of us to shower and never had a problem finding a spot in one of the pools to relax. The houses could not be set up more perfectly for large groups. Both houses are exactly as pictured. Well stocked with everything you need and extremely clean and well maintained. We are extremely picky when it comes to cleanliness, and the cleaning staff for the houses are fantastic. I never thought twice about using anything. Their property manager was also extremely helpful. He set up dinner reservations and excursions, as well as transportation anywhere we needed to go. He knows the island extremely well and can suggests things for the group to do as well. He recommended having a chef come in and make homemade pizza for the entire group one night, and it was some of the best pizza we've ever had. Roatan itself has become one of our favorite vacation spots. We have traveled to numerous different places and there is no place quite like West End in Roatan. The people are extremely friendly, the food is amazing, and everything is very reasonably priced. There are lots of things to do as well as places to sit and relax on the beach. We never felt like tourists and loved being immersed in the local culture and way of life. I would highly recommend Vivaro for a family or a big group vacation. Either way, it will be a fantastic trip.

Beautiful!

The property was absolutely beautiful, the infinity pool provided SPECTACULAR views, and the area of West End where the house is located always had something going on. I definitely would recommend this location, and make sure to check out some of the awesome snorkeling right off the shore and some of the bars/restaurants like Sundowners or Ginger's!

Beautiful Beachfront Home

We stayed with a large family group and loved it! We rented the "North House" and "South House" at the same time. The location is close walking to restaurants and shops in West End. The home's are well cared for and the staff is super friendly and helpful. Mark went out of his way to make sure we had the best experience possible. I would absolutely recommend this location. Jean

Wonderful family vacation in a beautiful home!!!

We had a fantastic time in Roatan and at Vivaro - West End. We had so much space to hang out, cook, sleep, and swim for our group. The location is so much better than we understood when we booked. Directly on the water and a quick walk into West End town. The views and sunsets were unforgettable every day.

Amazing Sunset!

Great family get away. Close enough to walk into West End for food, drinks and all activities. The location is ideal for a family looking to be able to walk rather than renting a car. The property/House is very private and immaculately maintained. We spent most of our time lounging around the infinity Pool looking over the Iron Coast. The ocean breezy was enjoyable with having the accordion doors open the all the time. Each bed room has its own air conditioner when the ocean breezy isn't enough. The house is equipped with everything you would have at home. When we return to Roatan on our yearly trip we will defiantly be staying at Vivaro.

Wonderful spring break with kids and family.

From the moment you walk in the front door you will never want to leave. We stayed in the south house and everything was perfect from the view to the pool. The photos online don't do it justice. The kitchen is nicer than mine at home and the pots were super high end. Some basic condiments were provided and there was both enough plates and utensils for our whole group to eat. It's obvious the owners like wine as there are a ton of wine glasses. The stereo was easy to sync to my phone to play music and the tv had many English channels to watch. The internet connection was good enough to watch movies on Netflix. It was about a 5 minute walk to Sundowners bar the the street is lighted for the walk back at night. We always felt safe and had no issues with the People in other places around. Sitting in the pool watching the sunset was the highlight of the day. It sets out over the reef and the sky lights up a beautiful orange. This is a place I would come back to. I found them on their Vivaro Roatan site and working with the owners to get the trip booked was simple. We had great help setting up zip line tours and other trips. Go visit the monkeys and sloths, our son absolutely loved giving them hugs.
