From the outside it looked lovely but unfortunately the lodge wasn't clean, the host arrived 2 hours after check in to clean it, we did get a small refund after we found other issues within the lodge, had to ask for clean bedding, which arrived the 2nd day and was thrown in the door way in a bag not folded, was really unhappy with our stay that we left earlier than planned

Lovely lodge on Haven holiday park

Lovely lodge, plenty of space for 6 people (4 adults, 2 teenagers). Great location for Blackpool and surrounding area. Can't comment on the park facilities as we didn't use them but the park was very busy.

The lodge itself is a nice size and carpet and furnishings were clean and comfortable. I would suggest the en-suite showroom shower is blocked and doesn’t drain away and there is a smell from drains but not unbearable. The windows were very dirty and covered in marks which spoiled the look of the lounge perhaps again overlooked by cleaner but did look like they haven’t been done for many months.some of lower sockets in lounge dining room area worked then didn’t, loose connections The beds were very comfortable! And the new carpet very clean. If these issues are addressed I think it’d make the difference.I think it’s more issue with the cleaner than the lodge itself. The haven site staff are very friendly and there’s lots to do if you stay onsite with children.

The host declared the lodge ready for us to enter. On arrival it was absolutely freezing inside and was uninhabitable. I messaged the host to say it was very cold and she ignored the message. There was no heating on at all so as we still needed a place to stay we put the heating on and went back a few hours later. To make matters worse we were with our elderly mother who has terrible rheumatoid arthritis and we had to take her back home. It was supposed to be a family get together before christmas and it was completely ruined because of the lack of care exhibited by the host.

The guest messaged how to out the heating on and had messaged to say he had sorted it as I didn’t get to reply I was at my mothers funeral the lodge was ready for upon arrival and it would of warmed up with the heating on as it is a safety at the property we are not allowed to leave heating on as it’s got gas bottles on the lodge not mains gas it’s the park rules and haven don’t leave heating on for there guests arrival as it’s the parks safety rules we haven’t had any problems with other guests staying with heating

Anthony's 50th birthday treat

The lodge is spacious and very well appointed. Lovely and bright, so well equipped we didn't really need to go anywhere if we didn't want to. Proper sofas, table and chairs so very comfortable and the walk through wardrobe with an en-suite behind it was great. Would love to stay again but so many people stopped to ask us about the lodge and taking details we may struggle to get a booking 😆 thanks Amanda x
