Harbour cottage Staithes

Newly refurbished to high standard. Being a 3 storey cottage space can be an issue and open plan steep stairs may be a problem for some. Location excellent. Would return.

This place was nothing like the pictures online. It was damp and smelt damp. Cooker not cleaned and the floor was still wet when we arrived and gritty under foot.It had not been maintained at all...peeling paint, damp patches, weeds in the cutter ,shower and bathroom units rotten.

They messed up our booking and we had a to leave a day early, only finding out the morning of leaving. Spoliing our last day for our kids and elderly dog.

Thank you for your feedback. We’re very sorry to hear about the issue with your booking and that it resulted in you having to leave a day early—especially with such short notice. We completely understand how disappointing this must have been, particularly as it impacted your final day with your children and elderly dog. This is not the experience we aim to provide, and your comments will be taken seriously and reviewed with the team to ensure improvements are made.

Luxurious bolt hole

This is our 5th holiday in Staithes and the most luxurious property we have found so far. The downside is the 'bijoux' size. The mini kitchen area is so small that there is only space for a mini fridge/freezer with no dishwasher and just a mini double induction hob. And the kitchen can't be used at the same time as 4 being at the table. For a short stay the luxury outweighs this and it is perfect. I look forward to returning. I would not stay for more than 2 nights though for the above reasons.
