Great Weekend Stay

My friends and I stayed here for a weekend in Lisbon and loved it. The apartment was very clean and comfy and the neighborhood was out of the touristy areas while still being close enough to all the attractions.

Garage is in the hallways, so it attracts roaches! Saw several and 2 in the apartment. Maybe, because we are American, it there was no soap or face towel, napkins or paper towels in the apartment. Street is a bit noisy. Overall the neighborhood is pleasant.

Lisbon weekend

Very convenient stay

Owner was very helpful when we had any question. Location is very good if you plan to go to tourist places. Apartment is first floor so expect some noise outside. Only negative is they had trash cans in the inside entrance of the building and smell was very bad. I think that is what you have to live with in downtown since there is no space outside. Overall we recommend this place.

Great ground floor apartment

I was trying to find a place mid way to downtown and the airport….i found a nice little gem of a place…great ground floor apartment especially if you have heavy luggage, breeze to get to. Owner was very responsive, with clear check in instructions. Everything went smooth. Love the small patio and they had nice bottle of wine waiting for us upon arrival. Great neighbourhood with great ethnic restaurants, easy to walk to many of them.

The apartment is as described. The bedroom windows face the road and it can be noisy early morning but the beds are comfy. Great area with ready access to restaurants and shops.

The property was not the cleanest of places. The entrance is filled with garbage and cockroaches. Inside the apartment there are also cockroaches. The floors, couch, bedding, and bathroom were not very clean. The shower and shower curtain had mold and hairs everywhere. There were no paper towels, tissues, or extra toilet paper besides the roll on the wall (no mention of bringing your own in listing). The shower didn’t drain, so you were standing in inches of water in the moldy shower. Reached out to the owner and he said no one has ever complained before. Never came to check it out or help. It was a good location, you could walk to a lot of shops and cafes.

Very nice apartment

We stayed about 5 nights with friends, and we are happy about the property, everything needed was there, beds are very comfy and the neighborhood is quite calm (not the best suburb but near to the subway, easy to go there and see the center of lisbon), it was clean and the communication with the host was perfect, the only thing is that we found some cockroaches but i think it is just because of the surrounding. I would recommend!

Excellent Apartment

Denis is a very friendly and attentive person, always available via WhatsApp. The apartment was renovated between mid-November and December 2023. The entire floor was replaced and walls repainted. The apartment is comfortable, quiet, the beds are comfortable and the shower is great. I didn't have any problems during my entire stay, and I would certainly stay again.

We really enjoyed our stay. The beds were very comfortable and it was quiet at night.. We used Bolt a lot to get around….incredibly reasonable… as the apartment was not very central. There are a couple of things that could have improved our experience…a kettle, an iron, the heaters did not work and there were a couple of nights which were a little chilly…there is a power problem in the building and quite a stench from the sanitation. But for what we paid it was good value for money

Adequate with comfortable beds

Denis was a good communicator and sent us all the check in details. We never met him in person. The place was clean but the unfortunate thing was, it had a bug infestation at the time of our stay. Denis advised of us of this, once we were in the home. That was the downer for us. The area of town is very residental and there are some good restaurants near by. The subway is close and about 3 or 4 stops to the downtown center.

Spacious apartment in a residential neighborhood

Overall, the apartment is rather spacious and was very easy to get to and inside. The owner was very easy to communicate with and rather responsive. The bedroom is rather small compared to the size of the bed, but it was comfortable and clean. It is however, impossible to really open the blinds as the window is directly in the street and the apartment on the ground floor. The bathroom was functional with a nice powerful shower. The living room is very spacious and quite enjoyable to sit in. The kitchen has a nice set of equipment (microwave over, coffee machine, water heater) with a coffee machine, but it was not obvious which capsules we would have to buy for it so we could not really use it. Unfortunately, we were hit with rather poor weather and could not use the outdoor space. The apartment only had a couple very tiny heaters to be plugged in the wall, so it was a little harder to heat than expected. We generally enjoyed our stay and we’re only about 20 to 25 minutes walk away from the downtown touristic area.

Worst place in Lisbon. DO NOT STAY HERE!

As you enter the apartment you are greeted by a very strong smell of sewer that fills the apartment so make sure to pack a hazmat mask because you will need to wear it once you enter this apartment. Small rooms with beds that fill the entire room. You can barely walk around beds, if you typically put your phone, glasses, etc on a table/ nightstand next to a bed, get ready to put all of that on bare floor. Neighbors above that must have horses inside the house that were galloping around apartment until past 1am. Multiple trash cans for the entire complex that sit outside of the bedrooms, so be ready to get woken up when these are being emptied around midnight, so while you are packing make sure to bring noise canceling headphones and wear them in order to get some sleep. Our reservation was for 2 nights but needless to say we couldn’t tolerate the sewer smell and the noise for more than a few hours after checking in and left the apartment before sunrise. Host’s remedy for the sewer smell was that he had placed a couple of air fresheners in the apartment. Unfortunately that is like putting a bandaid on a bullet wound.

De ligging is dichtbij de metro.Leuke eettentjes in de omgeving.Via WhatsApp makkelijk met eigenaar te communiceren. Schoon appartement,slaapkamers liggen aan de straatkant en daarom rumoerig!
