Our host was exceptionally welcoming and everything that was needed for a comfortable stay was there. The apartment was cozy and warm, which is essential for the winter time. Having a unique view over Lisbon while having a glass of wine made a perfect ending after a day of exploring. We can recommend this little 'home from home' whole heartedly.

We were there 8 nights in September. The apartment was great, large and clean and bright and the view was amazing!!! It is up in the third floor with no elevator so be aware of thatAnd the only other issue we had was for 8 nights we only had one towel and hand towel each. The area is great, little market around the corner for groceries and souvenirs, lots of restaurants not too far of a walk, the family’s tram 28 has a stop right around the corner so that was great!:) the owners would very quick to respond and give any tips on places to go:) I’d stay again and recommend this apartment:) it’s walkable to so many places, pink street, time out market, the train/ferry terminal:)

We had a wonderful time at Françoise and Jorge’s place! It’s in a great location, walkable to so many restaurants/bars and points of interest! We will definitely stay here again when we are back in Lisbon. Thank you Françoise for the great communication and the lovely apartment stay!

Had a great time, I felt comfortable staying here, bed, bathroom, living room and kitchen all made the apartment lively - highlight for me is the two double doors that opens to the roof tops of old Lisbon gives you the panoramic view and makes the apartment super bright, felt that I made the right choice in staying here- want to be in the older part of Lisbon and just get lost walking the old streets you came to the right place - but be prepared for walking on hilly streets, if you have mobility challenges this is not the neighbourhood you want to be at.The apartments location is pretty central, you can walk to many restaurants and Tourist areas Thank you, Francoise

Nous avons passé une excellente semaine à Lisbonne chez Françoise et Jorge. L’appartement est grand, lumineux et très confortable, doté d’une excellente literie et idéalement placé, tout près des lieux vivants de Lisbonne mais au calme malgré tout. Il est très plaisant de s’y reposer le soir après avoir arpenté les rues de la vieille ville.De plus, nous avons eu un accueil très chaleureux de Françoise et un très gentil geste en fin de séjour.Hautement recommandable ! Nous y retournerons.

Hi, the property was clean, but though we already paid for cleaning, the owner asked for 35 euro in cash for cleaning. The property is on the 3rd floor with auful stairs to get there. No cinditioner.

A great apartment in perfect location

We stayed in this apartment for a week and it was great. It's tastefully furnished, complete with a lots of beautiful original art work on the walls. It's close transport and shops and within walking distance from the centre of the city. Fransoise greeted us warmly on arrvial and answered our barrage of questions about what to see and how to get there, etc. Her local restaurant recommendations were spot on. We loved our stay here. Very special.

We were charmed!

We loved the apartment, the city, the country and the hosts! We greatly appreciated the communication from the hosts and their kind accommodation of our early arrival check in request. Jorge and Francoise did a beautiful job restoring this historic apartment so that it is comfortable and efficient. The big windows with city view are an unforgettable feature. We were very happy with the neighborhood and its many shops and restaurants. It was very easy to access other areas of the city on foot and we walked everywhere, always feeling quite safe. It was a fantastic week for our first trip to Portugal and we are already planning to return!

Sehr schöne Stadt mit vielen interessanten Sehenswürdigkeiten.Mitunter war es sehr anstrengend, große Höhenunterschied zu Fuß zurückgelegt. Eines Sache haben wir vermisst, einen Kleiderschrank gab es leider nicht, für eine längeren Aufenthalt ist der zwingend erforderlich!

Short but sweet Lisbon trip

Wonderful location! Within walking distance of pretty much everything you want to see, very nice unit with an absolutely amazing view. Host was very attentive and answered our questions immediately. Would definitely stay here again!

Tranquil & Breathtaking Retreat

Everything was perfect, from our initial booking to the moment we sadly closed the door at the end of our stay. Prior to our arrival the owners, Francoise & Jorge, answered all of our questions. We were warmly greeted by Francoise to their lovely & spotlessly clean apartment. It was well equipped with everything that we needed. What a stunning view, even better than in the pictures. This is exactly what one would imagine when picturing historic Lisbon. The neighbourhood is quiet and charming, and we found all that we needed within easy walking distance, including groceries cafes, restaurants.& a laundry mat . We especially enjoyed Francoise's recommendation of a friendly & cozy little tapas restaurant just around the corner. Merci Francoise & Jorge for a truly memorable stay. We hope to return.

Beautiful little apartment - perfect location

My girlfriend and I stayed here for a week and had the best time. Francoise was a wonderful host and gave us great recommendations for activities around the city. View is really nice out from the juliette windows. Location is perfect for wandering around the chiado and alfama areas. Highly recommend staying here.

Flat renovated in October 2012, very comfortable, 3rd floor, no lift, in the historical centre. Well lit with two door-windows and a window with a panoramic view overlooking the rooftops of old Lisbon. Two rooms, one a bedroom including office, the other comprehends dining room, salon, and kitchen. Bathroom with toilet, two small balconies overlooking a pedestrianised street. In the heart of Santa Catarina, is in a calm neighbourhood. More details in the owner website. Animal not admitted.
