First time visit to Alvor. Very nice location plenty of parking (3&4 Week April). Kelly waited for us and gave us the lowdown on everything.Secure Gated entry, good lift nice sea view. Roomy apartment. Good Smart TV with very good wifi. Easy walk to Intermarche, and Town center. Restaurants and food excellent. Hope to make it back.

Apartment is well equipped. The host is very friendly and helpful. We have stayed in this unit two times and would come back again next time we are in alvor. It is an ideal location with access to everything one needs within walking distance.

The apartment is on a lovely gated complex. It is in an excellent location as only a short walk to the beach and a short walk to Alvor centre. The apartment is spacious and we found it very comfortable and nicely furnished. Would recommend and would stay there again.

Very comfortable, well-equipped apartment. Good air-conditioning and wi-fi. Excellent location close to beach, board walk, supermarket, bars and restaurants. Kelly very helpful and attentive. Balcony spacious but the balcony furniture could be updated.

Lovely Stay

Just had 19 day break in the apartment. All amenities were available and we enjoyed it thoroughly. Kelly reacted to our demands and it was a treat to meet the charming cleaning ladies. Would definitely stay here again.

Great location - one of the best in Alvor

This is a great property. Perfect for a couple. Within easy walking distace of the boardwalks, town centre and river front. The manager kelly was helpful.

Nice place. Great location, walking distance to beach, town, grocery store, restaurants. Complex was quiet. Keys didn't work for all gates. No real coffee maker. Host was very responsive to our questions and concerns.

Vila da Praia

Second stay at this property this time with the addition of air conditioning. Everything was spot on, great apartment with great views of the Atlantic Ocean and in a great position for everything Alvor has to offer plus a short walk to the beautiful beaches.

Lovely Apartment

The apartment was excellent.Loved that it was enclosed and gated .It was spacious and had everything we needed .It was very well situated to everything in Alvor .Would definitely recommend it .It was very peaceful and quiet and near the beach .

Lovely quiet apartment

Lovely apartment with everything you need for a self catering holiday. Great location close to everything so car not needed, but there is parking if you want to have a car.Great communication with the owner from booking and with his local agent when we were there. Photos of the apartment are true, in real life, living room is bigger than it seams in the photos. Sun on balcony all day from sun up until after 4 pm.It was our first time using VRBO, very easy to use, no hidden costs and we had no issues at all

Relaxing week in Alvor

Had a fabulous week in Alvor at Nuno’s apartment. It is in a fabulous location with a wonderful balcony sea view. Check in with Kelly was punctual and she was very welcoming. The apartment is large, very clean and well equipped. Loved the stay and will return. Thank you

Perfect!

Apartment is exactly as described including the wonderful sea view from the balcony.Perfectly located for beach access and town, in quiet neighborhood. Apartment has everything necessary to ensure a comfortable stay, including beach chairs/umbrella. Kelly was very helpful and a pleasure to deal with. We hope to return!

Beautiful Alvor

Just back from 10 days in this lovely apartment. Would highly recommend it. So close to beach and town. Alvor was fairly busy but we always got into restaurants. Weather was much hotter than we expected so the air conditioning was an added bonus. Hopefully be back sometime soon.

Modern well located apartment

Modern apartment in good location, less than 10 mins to boardwalk/beach and seafront restaurants. Bed is larger than it looks in the picture and is very firm. Pool and pool area immaculate. No evening sun on balcony. Quiet overnight. Would recommend.

Thanks for the review Alan. During the winter and early spring months, the sun does not shine on the balcony after 4PM. It's something we don't control. From June to August the sun shines on the balcony all day.

Lovely apartment with sea view. Fairly well equipped but a bread knife would have been useful. There was a small cafetière but a filter coffee machine would have been better. We unfortunately had wet and windy weather.

Just returned after a two week stay in this excellent apartment. Everything described in the write up about the apartment and the complex were just as stated. Already rebooked for next year. Very easy booking and sorting payment out with Nuno. Met Kelly within minutes of arriving at apartment complex who full explained everything about apartment ,complex , and surrounding area. No one would be disappointed with the village of Alvor, magnificent beach and walkway. David

Super location, great apartment

Booked this apartment with Kelly after emailing Nuno the owner. We met Kelly on arrival and found her helpful and informative. The apartment was ideal,spacious, clean, well equipped and perfectly situated being a 5 minute gentle walk to town centre and lovely restaurants and bars and a similar walk to the beaches. The pool area was lovely with a separate childrens pool and the water was a lovely temp for swimming. The whole complex is immaculately kept with on-site parking if you have car hire. There are local bars and supermarkets within 2 mins walk, .We are in our 60's and thoroughly enjoyed the complex but it also looks ideal for families. We will certainly be booking this apartment again as we visit Alvor regularly, could'nt ask for more.

Poor management

Very poor management, It took over an hour for the the manager to arrive and let me in, The bed collapsed on the first night and it took 3 nights to get it repaired

Thank you Cristóvão for the review. We are sorry that the bed broke with you as a guest. It's a new bed so it was a surprising and unexpected event. It is important to note that the apartment has two more beds and that is why you did not sleep on the broken bed while the bed was repaired. The three days to repair the bed involve hiring a technician and scheduling it according to the available schedule. We are not a hotel with 24-hour reception and full-time maintenance technicians. We are a local accommodation as you know when you made the reservation.

Great location but…

Before writing this review I gave the owner the opportunity to reply to our thoughts. She did not respond, which is probably synonymous with the whole attitude of this apartment’s management. Take the money. The apartment is fine, great views, air conditioning and for the price reasonably well equipped.One wine glass, no corkscrew, no proper coffee making equipment. A couple of TVs but no instructions on how to use, we didn’t watch.The basics are missing. An agent who meets you and helps you throughout you stay. We had problems with the locks, we had to wait around and deal with the locksmith twice. The agent doesn’t drive, reliant on UBER and it felt like she could be bothered to resolve our issues in the 40 degrees of heat! You need to bring everything with you, no washing liquid, half a loo roll, no dishwasher tablets, no salt or basic condiments, no pool towels. No simple local information pack. We have been several times to Alvor, but if it’s your first visit grab a map and check out Facebook groups for local advice on pharmacies restaurants etc.There are many options to in Alvor. We will use another apartment next year unless changes are made and confirmed. A reply to an email would have also helped!Sadly, what could be a great place to stay has issues

Thank you for your comment. I apologize for the broken lock, but these are situations beyond our control. It was unfortunate that this happened to you. However, the situation was resolved in a timely manner, as this isn't a hotel and there's no 24-hour maintenance service. All the apartment's amenities are described on the website so that those wishing to rent can do so in an informed manner. You'll notice that it doesn't mention that the apartment has pool towels, washing machine tablets, shower gel, basic condiments, or an instruction manual for turning on the television. Six wine glasses and a corkscrew are usually provided in the apartment; if this wasn't available, we would have appreciated a call to the local contact, who is always available to resolve any issues. We appreciate all comments because they are a way to improve, but it's important to note that what's described on the website is absolutely accurate to the apartment's amenities. It's crucial to read this content carefully to ensure your choice of apartment meets your needs.
