Celebrating 25 years of friendship!
Wow- we cannot recommend this property enough! The house and grounds are spectacular but the view is even more breathtaking! Our party of 8 had the bank holiday weekend here, dining outside on our arrival then watching the sunset from the sun lounge. On Saturday we caught the train to Paignton to travel on the steam train then take a river cruise along the river Dart- just perfect! On our return, our friends had organised a private chef to come to the house, and the large open plan space was perfect for the occasion! Sunday was a lazy day, with a lovely walk to a local pub for Sunday lunch followed by a wonderful dip in the jacuzzi- even a little rain didn’t spoil it! If your looking for a luxurious space for a special occasion this is a definite contender!!

Beautiful property, stunning views
We thoroughly enjoyed our visit, great house, one thing to consider is the hill upto the property is very steep, then steep steps (could do with a handrail for us oldies) then more stairs to the living area, otherwise fantastic thankyou

House was perfect for celebrating my husband’s 50th birthday - nicely decorated and fantastic open space living area. The beautiful views across the estuary topped it off. Only minor negatives were very steep steps to access the house and road noise but they didn’t detract from the stay

Very Enjoyable Stay.
We hired this house for a 70th birthday getaway. Lovely home, fabulous views, beautifully decorated. The drive to the house is extremely steep (our prearranged Ocado delivery couldn’t make it up the drive so it was all hands to the deck!) There are steep steps to access the house so not suitable for those with mobility issues. Disposal of waste and recycling is a bit of a faff and be prepared to strip the beds at the end of your stay but don’t let that put you off. We had a wonderful time enjoying the hot tub, engaging a chef (Boo To A Goose) who was extremely impressed with the kitchen facilities and the location for plenty of walking. All in all I thoroughly recommend it.

Attention to detail, incredible direct sea estuary and countryside views, large grounds, privately located. Our guests especially loved sitting in the 'glass room' watching the sun come over the hills and at night experiencing all the lights shimmering whilst sitting in the Spa. The bedrooms are all a good size (the Master is amazing!) with plenty of storage. The whole house is always exceptionally clean with everything you could need. Great space for a group of friends or family with lovely views and a good location close to plenty of activities.
