Beautiful and clean!

Great spot for a little family getaway! The hot tub was very clean and so fun to use even though the weather was cool and rainy!

Perfection

The minute we parked at the cabin we knew it was going ro be the perfect weekend. Gorgeous property and perfectly secluded. The cabin was super cozy and romantic. We enjoyed just hanging around enjoying the nature and the hot tub. The firepit was perfect on cooler mornings

Romantic Getaway

The cabin was perfectly located, it was well used but close enough to local attractions. We drive up to Penn State for a lacrosse game and the drive was super easy. The cabin was everything we needed for a weekend recharge.

We absolutely love this little cabin and where it is located. The hot tub is wonderful. This was our second time renting the cabin. I can’t wait to go back.

Such a beautiful property, I throughly enjoyed our stay. Drinking tea on the front porch every morning while watching the gorgeous foliage this time of year was so peaceful. We visited Lake Tobias and Armstrong Vineyard both wonderful. I can’t wait to come back for another weekend getaway.

A Great Place to Stay

This was our second time staying at the cottage. While we spent most of our trip out and about doing stuff, the time actually spent at the rental house was incredibly relaxing and needed.

Fantastic Property and Stay

My wife and I had a very straightforward request for this trip - remote and private. It nailed it. The house is in phenomenal shape, it's very private, and we had a gorgeous weekend. We will certainly be back.

We arrived in the middle of a snow storm and there was no power , but the owners gave us every solution in the book. So appreciative. We need to come back bc this is the exact kind of private cabin we look for to reconnect in a chaos world !

Perfect, Romantic Cabin!

My wife and I had talked about renting a remote cabin for a weekend for the next snowfall that was planned. On a whim we booked this place and it couldn't have been more perfect. It's secluded with no other people in sight. It has a private hot tub, well furnished, and a beautiful view. We look forward to coming back as often as we can!

Quick midweek getaway

A business partner and I came to stay for a few days. We had a great time. Super peaceful and relaxed. The place was very clean and well maintained. There really is only one bedroom that is adequate for adults and probably why they call it the “couple’s cottage”. The upstairs loft has a sleeping area that would work for kids. I ended up sleeping on the couch in the living room and it was plenty comfortable. Really enjoyed our stay.

Private and Romantic Mountain Cottage

Beautiful! My wife and I enjoyed our stay at Fox Run at the cottage. Very private setting with a great except from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. The home was full stocked, clean and cozy. Hot tub was clean was great watching the stars at night after hiking through the woods and exploring. There was plenty of wood for the fire pit. Great romantic setting with the cabin in the woods feel. Lots of privacy! We look forward to staying again at Fox Run!

Secluded Getaway

This house was just what we needed. It is secluded, quiet and relaxing. The best parts of the house were the hot tub and fire pit with a grill attachment out back. First night we arrived it was completely pitch black outside and couldn’t see a thing. Located the key box, retrieved the key and went inside. The house was very clean and no smell at all. Definitely wasn’t expect linoleum throughout the house and in the kitchen the floor looks like it was either melted or something rusted out on it. The doors were very hard to lock and took a lot of playing and jiggling to get the deadbolt to function properly. Also the back doors deadbolt needs to be cut out of the door frame to be able to be used. The kitchen is well stocked with the basic needs. The refrigerator was extremely clean. The bathroom is just basic with no bells or whistles. The bedroom is small with a queen bed which makes tons of noise no matter how slow you move. The outside is beautiful.

Absolutely perfect

Let's start with the basics. Property was spotless, very welcoming and exactly as described. Now on to the good stuff. Private is an understatement, if you don't want to see anyone else this is exactly where you want to be. Beautiful location and surrounded by nature. We booked here to get away and celebrate our 20th anniversary, it was a perfect choice. From quietly sipping coffee on the porch to soaking in the hot tub, we had everything we needed to relax and reconnect. The property owners have created a beautiful retreat and the secluded cottage is the crown jewel. Bring what you need for your stay and just don't bother leaving for the entire time. Enjoy exploring the trails and property, relax by the fire pit, or soak in the hot tub. Spend some time sipping coffee on the rocking chairs on the porch. Unplug, turn off devices (there is WiFi if needed and great cell signal outside), and spend time talking, making memories and simply enjoying each others company without distractions. We will definitely be back.
