Cottage on Clarks Creek

The Cottage on Clarks Creek welcomes you. Jyoti and Michael’s newly built, secluded abode is nestled in the woods just steps away from an immaculate watershed creek. The lodge consists of 2 bedrooms, 1 full bath with not only a shower but separate jacuzzi tub, plus another ½ bathroom. The kitchen is equipped with all the appliances.

On the property, for your use, is a creekside, fully screened in, (not kid friendly) meditation room that is suspended right above the flowing water. The perfect spot to relax, have a meal or morning coffee. Mountain water flows through the creek making it pristine for fishing, rock stacking or floating. The Appalachian trail and Fly Fishing areas are around 1 mile from the property.

Between your getaway and the creek lives two fireplaces, one large stone fireplace with built-in seating, and the other is a smaller creekside fireplace.

Jyoti and Michael created a quiet, zen space intended for a romantic and relaxing getaway, we live next to the cottage. We will respect your privacy. If you are looking to party this is not the place for you.

Hershey Park is 28 miles and 35 minutes drive from the cottage..

We had an amazing stay at this property. The home is tucked away in a quiet rural setting, yet still only about a 30‑minute drive to Hershey and Harrisburg, which made it the perfect balance of peaceful and convenient. The owners were incredibly kind and welcoming—right from the start they made us feel completely at home. The house sits right along a beautiful creek, and one of our favorite parts of the stay was the meditation room perched just above the water. It’s such a calming, relaxing space that you can’t help but unwind in.If you’re looking for a place that offers serenity, comfort, and genuinely thoughtful hosts, this is a wonderful choice. We would absolutely stay here again.

Perfectly designed getaway with style. They’ve thought of everything, including very nice outdoor areas. We were close to nature but easily got to Harrisburg and Hershey. They are very friendly and eager to make guests at home…including giving us space. We both loved it!

Zen Vacation

The property was amazing, the meditation room was our 16 year olds private oasis. We drove the hour to Gettysburg and relaxed by the river everynight of our stay. Thank you for the perfect family vacation.

My best friend and I were visiting the area for the horse show in Harrisburg and were both really in need of a little respite. Even though our time was short, we hoped to unplug and recharge — and this home turned out to be exactly the peaceful place we needed. You could feel it right away. From the moment we arrived, there was a calm and kindness to the space.Communication throughout our stay was responsive and genuinely kind. Our hosts, Michael and Jyoti, were warm and helpful any time there was an opportunity, and that spirit carried through the entire experience.The home EXCEEDED our expectations. It was spotless, comfortable, and thoughtfully put together, with personal touches throughout. The photography around the home gave us a glimpse into the homeowners’ personalities and let us share a bit in their experiences. The small details and the carefully prepared home guides showed how much care has gone into creating a place where guests can truly relax.For those wondering about the practical things — the home was well equipped and conveniently located near restaurants and anything you might need.Beyond that, there was a real sense of peace here. Sitting quietly and hearing the creek flowing below, or spending a few minutes in the meditation room, made it easy to slow down and breathe.Michael and Jyoti clearly have a genuine heart for hospitality. This property is an absolutely serene oasis! I loved spending time in the hand crafted meditation room, we even camped out there one night with the sound of a beautiful creek running by. Amazing! Only 30min from Hershey and so many other tourist locations in PA.The hosts go above and beyond the booking! They even provide a 5 page document sharing many local must do's including dining options, family activities and even some great hiking spots! We will visit again in the future.

This is an amazing retreat just far enough from Harrisburg and Hershey to be peaceful and relaxing but with lots of fun activities within reach. Michael was a gracious and very responsive host, the home was spotless, and everything was well explained. Beautiful art, comfy beds, and fresh flowers made it just perfect. I would happily stay again!

An amazing and calming experience

This was a beautiful property with an incredible serene surrounding. We were pleasantly surprised by how comfortable the beds were and my teen and his friends had a wonderful time playing hide and go seek around the house and into the woods. We loved sitting in the meditation hut and spent an entire thunderstorm there. We would definitely love to return!

Beautiful and peaceful

I thoroughly loved my stay! The cottage was like a home away from home. Didn't even need to bring shampoo or body wash! Quiet, peaceful, and was exactly what I needed!! Definitely would recommend to anyone who wants to get off the grid and unplug. Thank you so much Michael and Jtoyi!

Jyoti Is from India and cooks delicious Indian meals, or Mediterranean, although we are vegetarian and Pescatarian (fish eater) so we do not cook meat. Please contact us prior to your arrival if you are interested to learn about meals. Of course this depends on our availability,
