I’m sorry about the cat‑urine odor in the bedroom and that housekeeping didn’t catch it before your arrival — that shouldn’t have happened. We respect that you didn’t want staff to re‑enter, but please message us through Vrbo with your reservation dates so we can investigate which turnover this was and address it with housekeeping. I also apologize for the elevator outage and the inconvenience of stairs to the top floor. Elevators are managed by the HOA, but we will follow up with them to get a status update and push for better reliability and guest communication. We appreciate the feedback and will work with our teams and the HOA to prevent these issues in future stays. Hope to host you again.

Thank you for staying at Romar Tower 9A. I’m very sorry your stay fell short of expectations — a 2‑star experience is unacceptable. We’re taking these actions immediately: - Arrange a professional deep clean and odor remediation (including walls, blinds, vents, and all soft surfaces) to eliminate cigarette and musky smells. - Inspect and replace stained or aged mattresses and mattress protectors; provide new toppers and bedding to ensure comfortable sleep surfaces. - Send maintenance to secure the loose AC vent, repair the broken master blinds, and check all vents/fixtures for safety. - Diagnose and repair the hot water issue and the kitchen garbage disposal; perform a full plumbing/fixture check. - Evaluate the in‑unit washer/dryer capacity and either replace with appropriately sized units or supply additional towels/linens and laundry options to support the unit’s advertised occupancy. - Restock and audit kitchen and dining inventory (serveware, cookware, seating) to properly accommodate eight guests. - Replace or repair patio furniture and inspect the balcony setup for safety and comfort. - Update the turnover checklist, retrain housekeeping, and add a pre‑arrival photographic quality check to prevent recurrence.
