This was better than advertised, just an absolutely gorgeous view and really high-end condo. The linens, furniture, decor, and tableware for all top notch. We stayed with another couple and we both truly enjoyed the space, especially the terrace. The pools were virtually never used by anyone else, so they felt private! We did end up usinga taxis or Ubers most of the time after walking once and deciding we didn't want to do that again. It's a very steep hill! But Ubers were crazy cheap so it made sense for the four of us to do that. Staff and security were super helpful and kind. Thank you for a fantastic stay! We hope to be back again someday.

Fantastic property

This is a gorgeous condo with amazing views of the bay. It's beautifully appointed with lovely artwork. The property manager was very responsive. We will definitely stay here again!

From the minute we entered the establishment we were wowed , Impressed to our wildest dreams . Rooms were huge and tastefully decorated . The killer view was 180 from jungle to the city . Pools were awesome , perfect for us ...one cool and 2 warm . Great location with restaurants close by and a couple of quaint stores at the bottom of the hill.. Staff were friendly and helpful . We felt like millionaires for the week stay .A vacay we will never forget .

Relaxation

From the time you open the doors to this condo you feel calm and relaxed. The pool being right below makes it feel like a private pool. Bring some runners to get your exercise walking into town but sit and relax in a cab for on the way back up😉 we have rented all over PV and this was one of the nicest rentals we have ever stayed in from start to finish!

Lovely spot

Beautiful condo. The condo is cool without using AC and relaxing. Staying away from the main city, we had a little breeze which made the heat more tolerable. We enjoyed our daily exercise going down and up the hill. If you want to take a taxi they are always available. It was only a 20 minute walk down to the main area of restaurants. Staying here is much quieter except for the unusual birds chatting in the morning. Would definitely stay here again.

Incredible views, beautiful condo!

The condo is located on the mountain side which provides incredible views of the bay and Puerto Vallarta. The condo is well appointed, clean and as represented in the pictures. Paul the host was very prompt in all communication during the booking process and on the day we checked in. Our family loves PV and especially the Amapas - Conchas Chinas area, and the location of this property was ideal for the combination of access to town and retreating to the quite of the condo and pools. Highly recommend.

Relaxing getaway

This property was a lovely, quiet escape from the hustle and bustle of downtown. After a day of excursions, it was great to come back to uncrowded, peaceful pools and views. Would definitely recommend!

Beautiful Paradise

We were greeted by Lupita and Roger upon our arrival. They acquainted us with the condo and gave us some great tips for things to do. The condo is beautiful and so nicely decorated. The views from the balcony are amazing. Everything you could ever need is available at your fingertips. I loved that the condo had filtered water available so we didn't need to lug bottles of water. The master bed and furniture are comfortable and inviting. The heated pools were wonderful and the locals friendly. I highly recommend this property!

Excellent stay with no issues

Somewhat nervous never having used VRBO before, but we needn't have worried. The owner was very responsive to our questions before the stay, and the listing exceeded our expectations... beautiful layout, very nicely decorated, everything worked, very quiet building, beautiful view of the water, and a great location, only a relatively short walk to the beach or town. It's a steep walk from the main road up to the building, but if we weren't feeling up to it Uber and/or taxis were always available. So overall definitely a very positive experience!

Fantastic Property

We had a marvellous stay at this condo. We have stayed at VRBO's throughout Hawaii and Mexico and this was by far the most beautiful property we have found. Property is as shown with spectacular views in an ideal setting. The building is primarily owners making for a quiet and peaceful retreat. During our 2 weeks over Christmas we enjoyed the pools, convenient proximity to shopping, restaurants, and action of the Romantic Zone. Paul's communication was timely and comprehensive. His property management team made check-in a breeze and provided excellent support throughout out stay and consistently went above and beyond. They even helped out with a small pre-shop for us in advance of our arrival so we had a few supplies and cold beers awaiting. Security of the property is top notch with 24 hour concierge and extremely polite and friendly staff. Like others who have provided reviews, we appreciated the trade-off between the quiet of the location up the steep hill, and the short and cheap Uber or Cab rides into town. Access to transit via the bus was easy when we decided to go south down the coast 20 minutes for some spectacular beaches or into town. We cooked many meals in the great kitchen and spent many hours simply soaking-up the views on the very comfortable and large terrace. We would certainly put this property on the top of our list for future vacations! Paul is the VRBO renter we all dream of when we are book our get aways. Thanks again!

The best part of the trip!

I can not tell you how much this property meant to me and my now Fiancé. Paul and his team, Jesus and Lupita greeted us and gave a tour of the massive property equipped with 3 pools on the property. The condo was breathtaking with unreal views of the coast. It’s a 10 minute walk to the beach side which was super convenient. Paul gave clear instructions on how to work the features of the property and even provided complimentary coffee. Out of all the trips I’ve taken out of country (10 in total), this has to have been the best experience I’ve had with a property. 20 out of 10. Please book, (just not my dates as I’m definitely going to be using this again haha)

Great experience.

What a pleasure to have stayed here. The condo, the grounds and the management company are all outstanding. It is an easy and cheap Uber to any where you need to go and also a perfect place to unwind and relax.

Spectacular condo in a great location

I highly recommend this rental property. It is in a quiet location not very far from old town. We walked into town every morning for coffee, about 20 minutes, and on a couple of occasions took a cab into town for $5 CA. Security staff at the reception desk were very polite and spoke good English. Cabs always arrived within a few minutes of being called. Paul made sure we had all the details we needed before our arrival and check-in was a breeze. Roger, the property manager, is a super nice guy and always available if needed. The condo is clean, modern, spacious and well stocked with utensils; we had no problem cooking our own meals. The building complex is also very well maintained and quiet. Our guest experience was five stars all the way. We are already booked for next year! Shelley & Bill N

Loved the property!

We loved our stay in Puerto Vallarta and Paul's property was fantastic! Communication with Paul prior to the stay was always very thorough and responses were quick, above and beyond for sure! The property is gorgeous. We have family that own another condo in the building and the location worked really well for us. Wifi, air conditioning, and all other amenities were top notch!

A great space to relax with amazing views.

The views are unbeatable. Opening the large sliding doors to patio created a great breeze - did not need the air conditioning. The property management team and building staff were always friendly and helpful. A quiet area to relax and recharge, but a quick Uber ride into town for some fun. The pools were just one floor down and another amazing place to enjoy the sun and views.

Don’t think twice, just book it!

This property is as amazing as the photos show it to be. Breathtaking views of the mountains and ocean from large open glass doors and a large patio. A perfect sunset to watch every night. The whole space is incredible; comfy beds, lots of open space for relaxing in and outdoors, up-to- date kitchen with upscale appliances, huge bathrooms- (one with a jetted tub), washer and dryer and all the extras you might need. Just book this place- you’ll not regret it. Paul was so good at helping me with every aspect of the planning and then when we arrived Keith, the property manager, was super helpful getting us settled, telling us about the city and wonderful restaurant suggestions ( we enjoyed Siam the most). This property also has a swimming pool one story down that was so quite and private. The doorman was in attendance 24 hours a day to assist us with transportation and other questions. I would suggest you using Uber as your first choice. The hassle in attempting to tell taxi drivers where we wanted to go with our limited Spanish skills was difficult. Even with written addresses some taxi drivers could not read and with the condo being in a residential area they often found it hard to navigate getting us back home. So again, Uber takes all the difficulties with that away. We were treated so friendly by other residents of the condo and they were helpful as well with suggestions. Overall it was a lovely time for my daughter and I to celebrate her 40th birthday. Thank you to Paul and all of his people for helping make this very special trip even more special.

Spacious and quiet, with a great ocean view

My wife and I enjoyed hosting friends in this spacious two bedroom condo. The unit's quiet monochromatic colors, lovely marble floors, high ceilings and large living room and dining area opening up to a wide second floor veranda all made for a deeply restful and satisfying stay. We also enjoyed swimming in the heated infinity pools, one level below. The panoramic ocean view from the veranda or from the pool below provides for excellent sunset and ocean gazing. The well equipped kitchen made cooking and eating in to be a pleasure. When not eating in, we would take a short taxi ride into the city for excellent meals in the courtyard at Coco's Kitchen on Pulpito, or to El Dorado for upscale dining on the beach. The Horizon condos are also a short taxi ride south on 200 (60 or 70 pesos) to The Lindo Mar, which provides elevator access seven floors below for ocean swimming and margaritas under a palapa at their small beach, and then a meal at La Playita, their beautiful beachside restaurant on Conchas Chinas beach. Front desk staff were friendly and would on request, call down to the taxi stand on 200 to order a taxi. Roger, the property manager was responsive to our needs. All in all, we had a great stay.

A Fabulous Time at Horizon

This was our first time at Paul's condo, after visiting PV every year for the last eleven. We cannot wait to return! The condo is even more beautiful than the listing shows-from the views, to the decor, all of it fabulous. Paul and his property managers are wonderful and great communicators-You will love it here!

We are a British couple who moved to and now live permanently in Dallas, USA. We previously owned and rented to guests a very successful apartment in Nerja, Spain but with us becoming permanent residents of USA, decided to sell in 2016 and purchase the condo in Puerto Vallarta - a dream come true!

We saw many properties during our search both new and old and also in and out of the Romantic Zone. We immediately fell in love with Horizon and in particular this unit as it is located within a short distance of town but sits alongside the jungle so we get the best of both worlds. plus the view from the terrace simply can not be beat :)
