Villa Zvrko

A beautiful apartment with stunning views. Our host was very helpful and accommodating. The pool was lovely and the apartment very close to a handy supermarket. A great location for trips to Dubrovnik and Lokrum.

Fantastic apartment

This is a comfort, well equipped apartment close to both the airport and the picturesque town of Cavtat. It is situated at the top of a steep hill but well worth the climb for the excellent sea views and peaceful location. The hosts were quick to respond to messages and were kind enough to let us check in early. The pool area was lovely and well maintained. Highly recommended - thanks to Paulina and family for a fantastic stay!

Great space, but unfinished- no hooks in bathrooms, power cables sticking out of walls (dangerous!?). Inconvenience of being high up and taking taxis up hill outweighed by amazing views (best sunsets ever)

Excellent location and unforgettable sunsets

Paulina is an excellent host, very accommodating and helpful! She even brought us some fresh melon and cake 😊 The apartment is very well located, just outside the main hustle and bustle of Cavtat and close to boat connections to Dubrovnik, just off the main highway so very good connections. The apartment is very well equipped and nicely furnished, but the best part is the balcony where you can watch the sun set directly behind Dubrovnik whilst the nesting swifts fly back and forth! The only thing missing from the listing was there was no hot tub in the shared gym area and the sauna was unavailable, though I don’t think we’d have used them in the heat anyway!

Beautiful location, fabulous hosts

We've just spent a great week in Cavtat. We were treated as guests rather than customers - our hosts couldn't have been more welcoming or helpful. From being collected from the airport, to the advice on where to eat and what to see, everything was catered for. The accommodation was simple, but clean and comfortable and the view from the apartment, balcony, hot tub and pool is spectacular. The walk from town is quite steep and takes about 15 minutes, but worth it for the view and our hosts were insistent that they would take and collect us at any time, so shouldn't cause any problems. Cavtat itself is quite small and quiet, but the restaurants and cafes are plentiful and good value. Dubrovnik is about an hour by boat or less than half an hour by regular and inexpensive bus. Thoroughly recommended.

EXCELLENT STAY JUNE 2010

My family and I stayed here the first week of June in a two bed apartment with a wonderful sea view. Both the ladies running these apartments are wonderfully helpful and mean it when they say they will pick you up from the bottom of the hill if you do not want the walk. The walk down to the centre is fine as is the walk back but can prove a little steep on a very hot day. hence the offer of a lift. The apartments were large and well stocked and we had a towel change nearly every day.. The property is close to a supermarket and the bus to Dubrovonic.. They have just opened a small eatery the cook is wonderful and so is the food and price. Go and enjoy!

Schöne Wohnung aber leider kein Auto und Abholung

Sehr schöne Wohnung und Lage. Was sehr schade war die falsche Beschreibung. Es wurde damit geworben, dass man kostenlos am Flughafen abgeholt wird. Man wollte jetzt 20,- dafür haben. Dann wurde damit geworben ein Auto vor Ort mieten zu können. Das ging plötzlich dann auch nicht mehr. Wir mussten nun teuer ein Auto am Flughafen mieten, was so nicht geplant war. Sonst eine schöne Gegend.

Appartement met fantastisch uitzicht

Wij hebben deze mooie moderne appartement met 2 badkamers gehuurd voor 1 week. Het appartement is van alle gemakken voorzien, schoon en heeft een mooi uitzicht op Cavtat en de baai met de bootjes. Paulina en haar familie zorgt ervoor dat je een fantastische vakantie hebt. Om de dag worden de handdoeken verschoond en voor vragen en tips over de omgeving kan je bij hun terecht. Het appartement ligt ook op 5 minuten rijden van het vliegveld wat voor ons perfect was. Het plaatsje Cavtat is ook erg gezellig met zijn boulevard, haventje en gezellige restaurantjes. Zeker iets om nog eens terug te komen. Paulina bedankt voor jullie gastvrijheid.

Wonderful stay!

Open floor plan which made it very comfortable for a family of 6. Beautiful pool and views! Having the market so close was very convenient. Much more quiet and peaceful than staying in Dubrovnik, but yet close enough to go there for a day trip. The managers were very helpful and accomodating! Would highly recommend staying at their amazing property!

Great family holiday

Beautiful place, perfect apartment for our family. Very clean and spacious. Kids including our baby loved the pool especially, which was never too busy. Jedranka is an amazing host and very helpful. We would definitely come back and will be recommending to our friends.

Prima woning in een mooie omgeving

Wij hebben eind april, met uitzondering van de anderhalve dag regen, een prima verblijf gehad in dit appartement. Cavtat is een zeer sfeervol plaatjes. Het is ongeveer 15 kilometer van Dubrovnik gelegen, een indrukwekkende oude stad. Het appartement is confortabel. De eigenaresse is zeer gastvrij en behulpzaam! Beautiful views

First I would like to thank Jandranka for her hospitality, what a lovely lady she picked and dropped us off at the airport free of charge. We arrived quite late at the apartment and Jandranka made us a meat and cheese platter with homemade lemon chello and a jug of wine, how nice, she even gave us some to bring home. The apartment was very clean with wonderful views over the bay you could see Dubrovnik from the balcony, and some lovely sunsets. The towels where change every other day and linen changed weekly. The pool area was lovely everywhere is very clean and well looked after. There is a jacuzzi and fitness room for guests to use. Jandranka helps with where is good to go and advises on busses boats etc, an amazing holiday. Thank you, we will definitely be back next year. Michelle and Ian

Feel like home - wonderfull family villa!

We are a family of 4 persons ( two sons age 9 and 14) and stayed at Villa ZVRKO for 10 days in July 2014. We can fully agree with all the other customer reviews; Villa ZVRKO is very well maintained, the large 2-bedroom apartment with sea view we stayed in was very nice indeed, well equipped, private bathrooms in connection with the two bedrooms, nicely furnished and just wonderfull sea view from the balcony. The swimming pool area was very nice and again with a sea view. The pool was very clean - this time I did not get the ear infection which I always get, when a pool is not clean enough. We also agree with oter reviews that the family ZVRKO takes more than good care of their customers. Especially to mention Jadranka and Paula, they pick you up from the airport, give you lifts up and down the hill and are in many ways so very helpfull. At our arrival Jadranka gave us a nice information package by explaining the area , where to go and what to do. Cavtat as such is a nice small city with good access by bus or waterbus to Dubrovnik, which is of course more than worth to see. Very nice place in overall, everything we saw in Cavtat was beutifull. Will for sure come again and stay at Jadrankas's and Paula's place. We defenitely like accommodation at places like this with homely atmosphere instead of big hotel complexes. Villa ZVRKO also provides restaurant service in the peak season - while we stayed in they opened the restaurant in the early afternoon and kept open till 10am in the evening. Many thanks for Paula and Jadranka, see you again, for sure !

We have had two wonderful holidays at Zyrko Apartments with Jadranka and her family.As hosts they have to be up there with the best.They make you feel so welcome, so friendly, you feel part of their family.We had a sea-view apartment last year views are superb, with beautiful sunsets.Apartments are spotless linen changed frequently.Supermarket close by with everything you need.Monica is lovely, great chef.Cavtat has got to be one of the prettiest places.Dubrovnik well worth a visit, easy to reach either by boat or by local bus.We absolutely love Croatia and hope to return for a third holiday and stay with Jadranka and her family.

Wonderful, book it before someone else does

This was our first ever booking over the internet and we felt slighty aprehensive, well we shouldn't have, we were met on arrival as promised, we were taken to the family villa, everything was explained to us and within minutes we felt at home and comfortable in our new suroundings. We stayed around the pool area mainly but visited the beach and the city and hired the car from the villa , There are only a few apartments but what a friendly and enjoyable time we had with the other guests and Jadranka and her family, and Monica the chef, we will honestly go back again, lovely and clean, good location, wonderful views and sunset and lovely kind honest hosts,

Stayd here with a group of four adults and two small children. Nothing negative to say. We had a very peaceful holiday, just what we wanted. The service provided from the staff was wonderful but not at all too pushy. The pool was cleanest that we have seen in the mediterranean. That you Jadranka and co. once more for a great week!

Fantastic

Lovely, modern apartment with well maintained pool, we had a fabulous holiday in August. Jadranka was exceptionally helpful and friendly and even made our daughter a lovely birthday cake as it was her 10th birthday whilst we were staying there. It is a family run business with family values and nothing is too much trouble for them. Cavtat itself is beautiful. We would love to come back.

Sehr sauber und gepflegtes Appartment mit super Ausblick auf das Meer. Die beiden Gastgeberinnen Jadranka und Paula sind sehr,sehr nett und äußerst zuvorkommend. Selbst Wäsche kann man kostenlos gewaschen haben. Meine Frau musste dringens zum Doktor,da war sovort Jadranka zur Stelle und hat uns schnellsten geholfen und mit Rat und Tat zur Seite gestanden. Zum Strand sind es zwar ein paar Meter(zu Fuss ca.15 Minuten) aber man hat ja einen wunderschönen,sauberen Pool. Auf alle Fälle kann man diese Ferienunterkunft nur empfehlen.

Great Holiday

We have just returned from Cavtat having stayed at these family run apartments. Jadranka, Paula and there families could not have been kinder. They transferred us to and from the airport, gave us numerous lifts and were always giving us things such as liquers, fruit and home made pastries. They even insisted on doing some washing for us! Apartments were very clean and spacious. The views from the apartment were spectacular and the pool and bar/restaurant area a really lovely facilty too. This was our first visit to Croatia and Cavtat itself is lovely, the food delicious and inexpensive and the poeple of Croatia very helpful and kind. We would recommend a visit to Dubrovik by boat from Cavtat. Do not miss a trip on the Dubrovnik cable car for the most spectacular views. We will definately return!

Fantastic Family Holiday

Just returned from two weeks at Zvrko appartments in Cavtat. From the moment we arrived we were made to feel very welcome. Jadranka collected us from the airport (as promised in her e-mail) and brought us to the apartment. She and Paula explained the local faciliries and provided transport up the hill back from the village centre whenever we needed it. There is now a restaurant on site and the chef, Monika, provides excellent food at reasonable prices and was welcoming and kind to our children. The view from our terrace over the Adriatic sea was the best we have had in any apartment. The apartments were mainly rented by English and Norwegian families so it was an ideal place for our children to make friends and enjoy the pool - it also gave us adults the opportunity to share a drink or two with new friends. The properties are spotlessly clean (as is the whole of Croatia) as within easy reach of magical Dubrovnik. The helpfulness and excellent English of the owners really made it special. I would thoroughly recommend a holiday here.

Wonderful view and personal service

We have stayed here for one week in spring. Views over the bay are superb. Wonderful sunsets. Appartment is very spacious and has two bathrooms. Ability to cook in the appartment, but also in the common kitchen. Nice swimmingpool, although still cold in May. Hostess Jadranka is really top. Taking care of you. Providing lots of information on activities and the area. She baked a wonderful cake for the birthday of our daughter. Very personal touch to our stay. Appartment is nearby a supermarket, but the beach and town require a 15 min walk. But Jadranka was always willing to drive us. For exploring the area, a car is convenient. We could rent it via Jadranka. Cavtat and Dubrovnik are fantastic towns. But also a trip to Montenegro (Kotor) is worthwile.
