Villa Esmeralda was absolutely stunning and superbly presented. Everything was clean, easy to access and explained by the host upon arrival (he even got the travel cot out super quickly as he hadn't been informed of our request, but it was no hassle at all for him). The host was very friendly and communicated easily via WhatsApp if we needed him! We stayed during mid July when it was super hot, the AC in every room was perfect and worked flawlessly, essential when it's nearly 35+ deg C each day with kids.
The villa was suitable for us with a 1 year old and 4 year old, the gated pool an absolute bonus. The garden was stunning too and offered loads of entertainment for the littles ones. The living area was lovely and comfy and kitchen well equipped.
In the evenings we could sit outside, with loads of seating options, we enjoyed sitting around the pool with our feet up! It was quiet and very private!
Access up the property is easy, a hire car is essential, and we visited loads of places in under an hours drive including Aquamijas water park (excellent for little ones as well as old ones), Mijas Pueblo, Pueblo Banus and Selwo Aventura. We loved Alhaurin el Grande too, plenty of street parking if you want to go to a coffee shop or for ice cream (heladaria El Mori). Plenty of supermarkets too, the best one for variety is Mercadona with an indoor carpark (very tight though!)

The only issue we had was upon arrival, Cubos hasn't passed the message on to the host that we needed a cot and highchair, so that wasn't set up when we arrived, so he had to rush to get that set up for us. Also Cubos told me that I'd need to bring our own cot sheet and gave me dimensions, which was wrong as we didn't need to bring a cot sheet, and the dimensions were wrong for the cot provided. So really just the communication from Cubos needs improving.
