The condo was beautiful and we could hear the birds singing the property was so clean and friendly. It’s a two minute walk to the beach and there are two small but lovely pools on the property.

The condo was very well cleaned and prepared for our stay. There were plenty of beach chairs and towels for everyone to use. The master bedroom was quite large and very private, yet there was room for other guests in the additional two bedrooms. A total of four air conditioners kept the unit very comfortable. We would definitely come back.

Great stay in Kihei

Perfect condo.l for our family of 6 and mainly adults. Clean, spacious, and awesome views from the balcony! Great location too..easy walking distance to restaurants and the beach. Loved the landscaping throughout the complex. Couldn’t ask for more! Thank you!

Girls Get-away

We had 7 women in our group and loved this unit. Everything was clean and comfortable. We had plenty of room and loved being so closed to the beach, restaurants, and shopping area.

Wonderful stay in beautiful Maui!

We loved the condo. It was perfect for our group of 7 (2 couples and 3 others). Was very clean, the beds were very comfortable, and 3 bathrooms was very nice to have. Awesome location close to the beautiful Kamaole beaches and restaurants. Was also very handy the condo came with beach chairs, cooler, and other gear. Kitchen was very nice and updated and came with everything we needed. We loved it!

Great place, great location, good time

There was 12 of us that stayed in this place. 3 families of 4 had a room. We’re a close knit family and the place worked for us. Could have used 1 more room for the kids but it worked. We were mostly only here for bed time. It was a great and clean place and located where there were many beaches and activities

Family time

Great place, super quite and well maintained. Local pool a nice touch for the windy day at the beach. Many accessories available to use for a beach day. If anything, the only down side was that we were on the third floor with no elevator available. besides that, nothing to complain about.

Great Family Vacation

This property was large and spacious for our 6 family members (4 adults and 2 kids under 10). Lots of space for everyone to hang out or take a few minutes apart when needed. Haha. We had a great time walking to the beach, shops and restaurants. Great location! Newer appliances in condo were excellent. The doors/windows and screens need to be cleaned and fixed or replaced. All in all we had a great time, thank you for the use of your condo for our much needed family vacation!

Good property but needs improvement

Great location, clean, nice kitchen and comfortable beds. it was an OK property. We did not know how to run the A/C right away because it had a timer. Instructions would have helped. the sliding doors were heavy and very hard to slide. The refridgerator was leaking water out of the bottom. the light in the master bath was burnt out or did not work very well.

Great place!

This place was perfect for our 2 families vacationing in Maui. It had all the room we needed ( for 2 couples and a room for the kids) and was just a short walk to the beach. It was also very close (just down the street) from anything you may need. It was clean, convenient, and easily accessible. The only downside was our kids were reprimanded at the pool for playing Marco Polo; however, sure enough it is listed on the Pool Rules sign "No playing Marco Polo". We had a good laugh over it, but found it to be a strange rule that we had never seen before. (Otherwise, it's a great place!)

Clean but run down

Our family members each had units in the same complex. Theirs were 8/10 & 9/10 ratings. Then there was ours. It was clean. No bugs. New washer/dryer & DW. Beds were okay but middle bedroom was very loud even with one person sleeping in it. The unit was run down, holes in walls where things had fallen off, like the curtain rods.it had not been painted in years. Arrived with a curtain rod out of the wall. It was never fixed. antiquated ac-you have to wake up every 6 hours to turn it back on. No bathroom or bedroom locks work on any doors. So don’t expect any privacy. Two of the of the pocket doors didn’t work. I would not recommend.

Great Place for a Family Holiday

There were 9 of us and a service dog sharing T305 at the Maui Banyan. Surprisingly, it worked out very well, with the youngest child sleeping with his parents in a king size bed rather than using the sofa pull-out. The kitchen was well provisioned with dishes, cutlery, pots and pans, etc, - everything we needed, including great appliances. The beds and linens were comfortable and clean, and the 3 bathrooms made sharing the space easier. We all loved the view out over the palms to the ocean from the lanais. The pool area was great - clean, well-maintained with a shower and washrooms right there. We all enjoyed the hot tub as well. The 5 barbecues (3 inside the pool area with covered seating for about 20 people, and 2 outside the pool fencing, again with tables) were kept immaculately. Kudos to the staff on this and on the wonderful work they did maintaining the gardens around the premises. I suggest that the unit be given a little TLC though - a couple of kitchen island drawers that need fixing so they don't fall out when you open them, redo of the grouting just behind the kitchen sink, servicing/replacement of the tracks under the lanai doors for smooth opening/closing, and if anything can be done to reduce the noise level of the air vent in the bathroom beside the 2-bed bedroom, it would be wonderful. Minor things but they would make this a 5 star experience for us.

BEAUTIFUL!

We were a family of 7 and booked a three bedroom unit at Maui Banyan. What a joy this turned out to be. The grounds are well kept and beautiful. The unit spacious and clean and had everything we could want from kitchen facilities, washer/dryer, beach chairs, umbrellas, towels, etc. The beds were comfortable and the rooms beautifully decorated. Then there was the VIEW!!! We had an upper floor corner unit that viewed palm trees, mountains, and ocean!!! It was quiet and peaceful and made our vacation perfect! VRBO staff was friendly and helpful (in extending our stay an extra day) and was prompt when one of our air conditioners wasn't working. Jim, (maintenance guy) was sent right away and fixed it quickly. Jim was wonderful in recommending many wonderful places to check out, (which we did!) and gave good advice on how to enjoy our holiday to the fullest! (Turtle beach was awesome!!!) This has been the best place we have stayed in, in all our travels. It has such a relaxed, peaceful atmosphere that we would recommend anyone to stay here. Another awesome bonus it that is close to airport, and you can walk to many different restaurants, stores, etc. and beach is across the street! (saw whales!!!) Title of property reflects experience

This location is pretty fantastic! Very close to a beach with great sand and walkable to many restaurants. It’s also a very busy area. Traffic at rush hour can frustrating. I would say if you have mobility issues to avoid this specific unit. There are lots of stairs with not elevator and parking is a decent walk from the unit. You will absolutely get your steps in. When we checked in, the wifi and cable wasn’t working so we did need to email someone from the property management company about how to get it working. Luckily one of the adults in the group got curious with the boxes and reset everything. There were quite a few damages upon check in that were not reflected in photos. I took photos of most of the damages and sent these to the property manager immediately to avoid any responsibility for said damages. We had nine in our group and it was not great. The unit isn’t very sound proof so there was very little privacy. The kids all bunked together (4 boys in a room with two queens and it’s own bathroom), our daughter slept with us in a king bed within one bedroom and the other couple shared a queen in the den space off the living room.

Great location, needs a little tlc

The location is fantastic. A short walk to the beach. Unit has chairs, umbrellas, a cooler, games, beach towels, etc. We appreciated the 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, a full kitchen with dishwasher and the washer and dryer. The building was quiet and we had no issues finding a place to park. There are a few restaurants in walking distance but in general we were not impressed with any of them. Best to buy groceries at Walmart, Safeway prices are quite high. There is a place for pay it forward items if you don’t use all your groceries, soap, sunscreen. Checkin was a breeze - you don’t need to stop at the office. Just use your code and you are set! From home bring reusable shopping bags, ziploc baggies for your snacks and laundry soap. A few prior reviews mention maintenance issues and it doesn’t appear they have been addressed. I’ll email the rental company directly, perhaps they didn’t see them. The pocket door in our bathroom didn’t close, the fan in my daughters room didn’t work, was missing a door on a bathroom drawer, some of the kitchen drawers were broken. The washer needs a good cleaning, strong mildew smell. For the most part a good value for the price, it just needs the issues addressed.

Disappointed

The property, pool, and layout were as promised. However, we had several issues with unit itself (Banyan T305). When we landed in Maui we were informed that our unit had maintenance issues that were not fixed during our stay although a maintenance individual arrived as we were walking out the door the morning of our departure. Upon arrival at the prescribed check in time, our room(s) was not clean. We immediately called, were asked to leave, and were able to regain access after 2.5 hrs. Not because anyone called, but because we sat patiently and waited after a meal. This is a tough pill with a tired and grumpy 4 year old who needs a nap. We later found cans of chewing tobacco in a drawer as said 4 year old was playing. Unacceptable. Additionally, I received a call after 48 hours that we would need to leave as the balance of our reservation had not been paid. An email 2 months prior reported the final payment was scheduled. Perhaps I should not have assumed this was the truth. This rental and rental group/ownership does VRBO a disservice and does not belong in its lineup.

We loved our stay here! The condo was beautiful, well stocked and had everything we needed. The grounds were beautiful and quiet. It was only a five minute walk to the beach. Close proximity to shopping and so many stores!
