We were disappointed with our stay. Our issues with the property were as follows: 1) 3 of 5 appliances were not working(Microwave,CableTV and Stove). We selected the unit with the intentions of preparing our meals to save money. However, this did not happen and our trip was more expensive than planned; 2) Winding stairs to the 3rd floor unit were steep, uneven and they were unlit. Carrying luggage upstarts was treacherous; 3) For guests to gain access, they must open 3 doors containing 4 locks. We needed Vrbo support to open these doors as the owner was not available. When we discussed these matters with owner, he was both hostile and dismissive. When we contacted the owner, he mentioned his"Guest book" which contained all instructions for the unit. However, this book was out-dated (i.e., The TV is a Sony but book references instructions for a Samsung TV so the instructions for activating cable did not apply). Unless these issues are resolved (including the owner's attitude becoming more accommodative to his guest), I would not recommend this location to friends or to family.

Great location

We had a lovely stay. The apartment was exactly what we were expecting. The location was close to the Metro and central to all parts of Lisbon. The weather was above normal which the apartment gets the afternoon sun. My only suggestion would be having a wall air conditioner installed for comfort.

We had safety concerns with this property that were not addressed by the owners in a timely manner

We rented this property in June, 2018 and had to leave after staying one night because of serious safety concerns. We arrived late afternoon and were shown around by an agent of the owner. We were not informed about the lighting in the circular staircase. We went to dinner and when we returned to the property, we found the stairwell was pitch black and we had to use a cell phone flashlight to climb the stairs to the unit, which was difficult. We immediately contacted the owner, Michelle, and he stated the lights were timed and should be on long enough to make it up the stairs. We feel he dismissed our concerns and made no effort to address the issue. He said he would send someone over to check it out, which turned out to be around noon the next day! This is completely unacceptable. We decided to leave the property and rent a hotel room for our second night, as we were not satisfied with the response by the owner. Also in their information binder, it stated that an evaporative cooler was available in the unit, which was NOT true. The temperature of over 90 degrees was forecast for the second day of our stay. When we asked about it, we were told it was being repaired and was not available. The owner did not offer a refund of any type even though we stayed 1 night of a 2 day reservation and expressed our concerns for our safety. The only concern Michelle showed was whether we had left the property. According to the owner, we were at fault in this situation. We do not agree with his opinion and are in the process of filing a complaint with VRBO. We recommend you consider other properties in the area, as there are many. We enjoyed our visit to Lisbon in spite of this bad experience with this property.

Loved our Lisbon Apartment

Our apartment was nicely updated and was clean, comfortable and very well located. It was an easy 15 minute walk to Lisbon's Old Town city centre. Groceries, coffee shops and bakeries were all very close.. Michelle and Pedro were very friendly and helpful. Great accommodation to explore beautiful Lisbon and surrounding area.

Très joli appartement

Très joli appartement avec tout le nécessaire. Situé à côté d'une station de métro, d'un arrêt du célèbre tramway 28 et de bus. Supermarché au bout de la rue ou petite supérette tout simplement en face. Rien a redire, nous ne regrettons pas notre choix. Merci à Michele pour avoir répondu à toutes nos interrogations et avec rapidité et également pour la petite attention à notre arrivée. Et merci à Tarcyana pour son accueil et sa gentillesse.

Schöne, gut gelegene Ferienwohnung

Schöne, gut gelegene und gleichzeitig ruhige Ferienwohnung im Zentrum Lissabons. Gute Lokale und interessante Orte in Laufweite. Einziger evtl. zu beachtender Punkt, dass man bis zum 3. Stock Treppen steigen muss. Sehr freundlicher und hilfsbereiter Empfang.

appartement très agréable

l appartement est totalement conforme aux photos il est joliment décoré et très propre il est bien placé, à 10mn env à pied de Rossio et de ses restaurants il y a une station de métro juste au coin de la rue nous y avons passé un excellent séjour! je vous le conseille les propriétaires répondent rapidement aux e-mail et sont sympathiques

Superschöne Wohnung

Eine sehr geschmackvolle, gepflegte, frisch renovierte Altbauohnung! Sehr zentral gelegen, Gemüsehändler, Bäcker, Lokale gleich um die Ecke. Wunderbar geeignet für ein verlängertes Wochenende. Für 4 Erwachsene ein bisschen eng. Sehr symphathische Vermieterin (Michelle) welche sich sehr nett um einen kümmert. Ich kann es nur weiter empfehlen!
