Chester Street House
Apparently an architect/developer took this and the adjacent property to renovate them both in similar fashion with good finishes and details; especially a staircase, where they removed some walls and replaced with structural glass, a clever move to create more light in this very small, cute dwelling. The steps are illuminated at night, a good safety measure. The bathroom, which was an excellent layout given space limitations, was a tight squeeze, even for me, a small person. There is an induction cooker but no microwave or toaster oven, the thinking is that that is not needed ... thus a few more cooking items, such as small pans /pots for heating milk or small items, would be nice. Great hot water, lighting, heating, and wifi. Location super convenient: near to all the hustle bustle and international flavor of Cowley Road; the Donnington Bridge for walking the tow path; and the hip and trendy Magdalen Road, all right there, as is the redoubtable Chester Arms with its famous steak platter.
