Bright and cozy apartment overlooking the sea and the square of Mondello.



The apartment is located in a two-story building overlooking the square of Mondello and features modern furnishings. The kitchen is comfortable and functional, well equipped with an oven, a kettle and a coffee maker. It is accessed via a few steps: on the right of the entrance the living area features a sofa, a table and a TV. The sleeping area includes two bedrooms, one with a queen-size bed and access to the balcony overlooking the square, the other with two single beds overlooking the inner balcony. The balcony, which can be accessed from the master bedroom and the living room, is furnished with two chairs, and boasts a splendid view: in fact, from here you can admire the sea of Mondello, for a vacation of relaxation and aperitifs with a view. To the left of the entrance is the bathroom with bathtub and shower, overlooking the internal balcony (little terrace) equipped with a space used as laundry.



The apartment is located in the ZTL (limited traffic zone) area, therefore we suggest leaving the car in one of the nearby parking and enjoying the old town on foot.

Palermo, one of the most beautiful cities of art in the country and the capital of Sicily, offers plenty of wonderful Unesco heritage sites that can be visited in the four historic districts of the city. In this regard, tourists can take part in the "Baroque itinerary of Palermo' to visit the main monuments of the city, such as the Church of the Holy Savior, the Church of Santa Maria del Monte Oliveto and the Church of the Conception. The city also offers the opportunity to participate in the "Tour of the Historical Markets of Palermo' which will allow guests to explore the markets of Ballarò and Capo. It doesn’t matter if it’s lunch or snack time, it is strictly required to taste the dishes with your hands only! This tour will also give tourists the opportunity to admire prominent buildings, streets and squares.



The apartment has all services within a few minutes' walk, Mondello beach is only a 5-minute walk away, as is the beautiful Capo Gallo Nature Reserve. Finally, Falcone and Borsellino Airport is a 26-minute drive away.

Love to see the Sea

You are above restaurants and the local marina activity, which makes for a fun people-watching experience. A small store with fresh foods is just out the door and managed by a very friendly couple. Looking out to the water each day is ideal.

The unit was clean and well maintained. The bathroom needs a little updating, but the rest of the unit was recently renovated. The kitchen is well equipped with dishes, etc, but lack of salt and pepper, napkins, paper towels makes it less functional than it could be. The location is near the water and restaurants, easy walking distance to both. If you rent a car, parking is a little more difficult and a few blocks away. Parking and traffic is probably worse in the high season. There is apparently a bus to Palermo, we drove a rental car, and the traffic there is horrendous. The one big disappointment is that the city is renovating the Central Square where the fountain was located in the photos. Instead of a nice open area with direct access to the waterfront, the entire area is blocked off with 10 ft high steel fencing and there is heavy construction equipment working there starting at 7:00 a.m. on weekdays. The host obviously cannot control this, but it should be disclosed before rental is finalized. This construction apparently is going to go on until 2027. See attached photo compared to the listing photo.

Emplacement idéal

L'appartement est idéalement placé,tout est à proximité.La vue est incroyable,et la vie du quartier est très agréable.Une des chambres donne sur la rue et les soirees/nuits sont assez animés !!Nous avions une voiture et avons toujours trouvé de la place en zone bleue non loin de l'appartement.(vous pouvez payer en ligne le parcmetre avec easypark). Si vous allez à Palerme je vous conseille d'y aller en bus (ligne 806) très pratique en 40min vous êtes au centre ville.

The apartment was great, but it is short on certain things. More towels would be nice, the kitchen is missing basics, like salt/pepper/bottle opener, etc. There is NO livingroom to speak of, so keep your expectations low. Location is great, each night you can sit on the patio and watch the piazza come to life. Broken chair on the patio, and broken beach chair (only one). Very good, inexpensive food all about the piazza.

Mondello Getaway!

The apartment was perfect! Great location-waterfront 😀you have everything you need pretty much at your doorstep! if you don’t mind seeing and hearing people having late night dinners right below and infront of apartment ( I don’t) then this is a great place to stay at Mondello Bay😀We will definitely come back !!

Great apartment on busy square

The apartment is clean and tidy, bathroom could do with updating to bring it up to standard of the other rooms. It is reasonably well equipped (although coffee pot is too small to fit in the hob and broken beach chair not much use), well situated if you want to be in the heart of the action, conveniently close to the beach with lovely clear blue sea (we went in May/June). Local restaurants can be a bit pricy but the seafood is good. Go to Alementari Schillaci over the road for fresh fruit and veg, great meat and cheese selection and a nice glass of wine. The only thing to marr our break was the lack of understanding and help from the agent when it came to late check out request. Frustrating as we were near the apartment all day and no body had checked in before we left the town for our late night flight, yet late check out was refused due to the next guests arriving.

Loved Mondello

Really enjoyed staying at this property. The location was great. The balcony looked over the village square which we did not mind at all. When you walk out the door, you have access to restaurants, a fruit/vegetable stand (which was awesome), supermarket and above all, easy walk to the beach. The apartment was furnished as stated. We had a little difficulty, at first, communicating with the management company because it would take them a while to answer my questions concerning this property. They did ensure all our transfers were taken care of and, as requested, they sent information about tours, etc. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay.

Friendly environment and no pretension. Small town ambiance.

Located in the middle of small trattorias serving delicious seafood, on a piazza, right by the sea. Across the street, the fruit and vegetable market offers in addition wine, cleaning products, some food like cheese, ham, olives, nuts, etc. Next door you get warm bread and croissant in the morning , and there’s also a meat shop with surprisingly good cuts. On your door step you can take a bus to go to noisy Palermo in 20 min Overall, it’s a very good deal.

Mondello Apartment

Stay was excellent. The location was perfect with the beach and excellent food places nearby. The balcony had an excellent view. The only complaint would be the apartment needed some more necessities such as a tin opener but this was a minor issue.
