Clean rooms. Excellent location. Very unique interior. Not a great kitchen/ living room.But who wants to cook with so many restaurants within 5 minutes walk?

Suggestions…..the condo is in a great location, the building is awesome & history wonderful. My suggestion would be to add some coffee tables in the living room. Some place to put your bags (suitcases) in bedroom and some place to put you tooth brush & combs etc in bathroom. It was amazing to stay in this historic building.

Lovely architecture and great central location. Not great communication from host before or after arrival. The bathrooms were very small and being on the ground floor we could smell the sewage from the shower drains.

Nice place in the historic part of Palermo. 2 minute walk to the market. Overall the place is located in walking distance to port much all the historical sites of Palermo. The only downfall is the smell coming from the drains/ pipes. We had to buy deodorizers to try mask it. Expect to pay a local dude for parking if you have a car. It seemed a little shady, but our vehicle was well looked after and we were guaranteed our spot till we left. 3 days/20 euros.

Interesting architectural features. Great location.Dark, not much natural light. Not well equipped in the kitchen.Price was good. Overall a good place to stay.

Great start

We had a great stay! Close to do many sights, food, and shopping. We walked almost everywhere, it was a little difficult to get to by car as the GPS was a little confusing, but besides that it was fantastic. Very easy to communicate with owners and they even helped me when the airline list my bag and needed to deliver it!

Cool place at the Casa Professa

The apartment is located just a few meters from the Casa Professa Church which is high baroque and amazing. It's also centraly located just off Via Marqueda which is a main street with lots of touristy sites you'll want to visit. The harbor is about a 15 walk. So, great location, good bed and bedding, clean and modern bathrooms and basic kitchen

Great spot for friends vacation

The property was in a great location for walking to everything in Palermo we wanted to see. We appreciated the additional suggestions by Wonderful Italy of things to see and do in the city. While A/C was advertised, we never received the remotes to turn it on. Thankfully, the windows had screens so we were able to open them for better air-flow.

Beautiful and spacious with character

Right across the street from an incredible, art filled church (Casa Professa), and with a stately front door itself, this place has great interior architectural details, and plenty of space. The interior lighting isn’t ideal, and you should check to see if the back bathroom has had its plumbing fixed (awful smell throughout the back bedroom, and the back bathroom), but other than that, it’s in a perfect Location to walk to the train station, the outdoor street markets, and the main streets (4 corners) and an easy longer walk down to the bay. If the plumbing hadn’t forced us to abandon the back bedroom, this would be 5 stars, for sure.

Fabulous location, ridiculously small bathrooms

Centrally located, nice interior, but bathrooms unnecessarily tiny given the floor area. There was a disgusting smell of drains in one of the bathrooms and the fridge smelt of old fish.

Large two bedroom apartment with separate living room with unique and interesting architecture close to main Palermo attractions in the historic area. Lack of WiFi and limited daylight were issues with this unit

Nice lokation, poor communikation

The lokation was Great. Very close to everything. Beautiful old ceilings/ Walls in apartment. Small bathrooms/ showers. Bad smell in one bathroom. Couldn’t get in touch with agency, waited long time for someone to come with the key, did’nt get answer from neithter VRBO nor Wonderful Italy.

This property is located on the ground level of a 2-3 story building with bars on the windows that remain shuttered so relatively dark inside. Relatively high traffic area with graffiti. The entry is an unlit scooter garage for the residents above. The apartment is spacious with 2 bedrooms and a living/kitchen area. Beds were relatively comfortable. Bathrooms were okay. Cleanliness over all was not good. At check in, they ask you to send you passport via a whatsapp link. Not sure this is safe or common practice. Communication is over whatsapp or you call the help line and remain on hold for long periods of time. The pro's: relatively close to main tourist areas.The open market is a five minute walk away. The con's: not very clean, surrounding area is graffiti ridden, can't open the windows for natural light. I was here for three days and nothing was provided - not even a bottle of water. Fridge was warm. Kitchen utensils are very limited. There is a cleaning fee but they ask you to recycle, tend to the garbage and make sure all the dishes are clean. No kitchen towels were provided for this. The AC only worked in one bedroom and after 3 messages via whatsapp to report the issue, I finally reached someone on the last day. I asked for some kind of compensation for the AC and still await their reply. Its been 10 days now.

The place was beautiful. But many of the basics were overlooked.The kitchen was adequate l. But there were no bowls. The first time have ever seen that. We had to eat cereal out of pots.The wifi was quite substandard 2G, which has not been an online standard since 2003. When I asked if it could be upgraded, I received no answer.One of the toilet seats broke. And while they sounded like they thwyvwoukd sent a repair person, none showed up.There were no garbage bags and little toilet paper. We had to replace both.The host seemed uninterested in address confusion and didn't see fit to have their in person agent do anything to assist us. To their credit they did admit the problem. But at the time the in person agent behaved as though he was the victim of the confusion, not us.The two redeeming features were the location and the apartment itself which was quite beautiful.I would also suggest that where Vrbo promotes properties on partners sites, communication should be seamless. I often had difficulty getting hold of the host on Wonderful Italy. To theirbcredit they also allowed us to do late check out because our flight out of Palermo was in the evening.

Séjour à Palerme centre

Emplacement idéal pour visiter Palerme. L’appartement est spacieux mais sombre. Le mur en pierre est joli mais l’ambiance est froide, on est un peu comme dans une cave, une seule fenêtre. Joli immeuble . Le coin cuisine est très réduit. Pas possible de cuisiner. Pas de four. Très petit frigidaire. La climatisation fonctionnait bien..Pas de WIFI. Les douches sont très petites et pourraient ne pas convenir en cas de forte corpulence. Convient pour un court séjour pour visiter la ville. Tout est très propre. Très bon accueil.

pas d'électricité at aucun geste

l'appartement est très joli et trés bien situé MAIS des odeurs d'égout insupportable , très sombre et très bruyant; Le dernier soir à 21h (heureusement) plus d'électricité (impossible de trouver le disjoncteur général et nous n'avons pu joindre personne alors qu'on nous avait donné un numéro de téléphone où appeler de 9h à 23 h . J'ai laissé plusieurs messages mais je n'ai pu joindre quelqu'un que le lendemain à 10 h !!! pas de douche pas de lecture at aucun geste commercial ! même pas d'excuse !

We enjoyed our stay. There was no internet otherwise it was a lovely, comfortable, clean apartment. It is large and well equipped.

Location and unique interior

The location is perfect for exploring Palermo. Walk out the door and your in front of the most beautiful church in the city. We saw two weddings take place. Very fun to watch from our front door. The outdoor markets are a few minutes walk away as well as the 4 corners square. The interior of the unit is very cool. The only down side is that there aren't any windows to look out of. Other than that it's very cool and like staying in a castle. Highly recommend this rental for a location to explore Palermo.
