Arrived having been told before hand our static caravan had been changed we made ourselves aware of how the equipment worked, noted the decking had no gate (we have two small dogs) so our dogs if out were confined with leads. General appearance of the unit was “tired” heating system seem to work on a 2-3 hr cycle, electric fire in the lounge wasn’t working, the double bed had seen better days, springs in the mattress were very uncomfortable, hot water was by the basin full before you ran out, internally there was cobwebs, the carpet had dogs hair which would appear from walking across it (yes, we did know it was a dog friendly caravan) which showed to us that the cleaning left a lot to be desired, toilet basin was stained, and as hot water was limited having a shower was a non starter. Externally other than the lack of a gate the outside lights did not work. Did see the site warden a couple of times before we realised the extent of the problems with the accommodation. We called on the warden twice but each time they were out, called the help line (mobile number) with no response ie it just rang. We arrived on Monday 22nd April for a week, having been unable to contact anyone via the contact information we packed up and left on the Wednesday 24th, contacted the letting agent the next day, still waiting for a response, now the 7th May 2024
