Valldemossa is a small town located in a valley of the Serra de Tramuntana, declared a World Heritage Site by Unesco. It is a luxury to walk through its picturesque streets, visit the famous Cartoixa where Chopin and Sand lived, or buy fresh fruit and vegetables or handicrafts at the weekly market held every Sunday. The neighboring towns of Deià, Sóller, Banyalbufar or Esporles are also a must. Moreover, it is less than 20 minutes by car from Palma, the capital of the island.
