Overall, our stay was okay. There is nothing terribly wrong with the property or our stay except for minor inconveniences like not having enough towels for everyone even though we had the correct headcount on our booking, pots and pans weren’t clean, hot tub not working. The location was convenient, but the property was older/more dated than what we had expected, especially the interior. The outdoor part is pretty spacious but we did not get to use much of it except for the pool as it wasn’t quite clean. You also have to bring a lot of your own items to this place as the landlord doesn’t provide for what would be “basics” at other rentals, like paper towels, toilet paper, dish soap, cleaning supplies, some basic toiletries. Overall, it was fine but for the price point, it wasn’t quite worth it due to reasons listed above.

House was great but poor booking experience

The home was beautiful, in a quiet neighborhood with a short walk to the bay. The kids loved the pool and outdoor play area, and the kitchen was well-equipped.Unfortunately, we had a frustrating booking experience. Though the listing says "sleeps 12," we were charged an unexpected 600 extra guest fee after booking (for 11 guests, including 2 infants). The host explained it’s 200/person per night for parties over 10 to “discourage large groups.” We asked to waive the fee, but he declined, offering instead to cancel for a full refund. Since we’d only get a 50% refund if we canceled ourselves, we asked him to initiate it, which he refused, claiming it would hurt his ratings—even after VRBO customer service said it wouldn’t. We were left with no option but to keep the reservation.We would not recommend booking with him without being aware of the additional fees. He also charges 300/pet (which he did waive) and 300 to use the pool heater. The only fee that is even indirectly mentioned is pool heating and no usage rate or cost is provided. Please keep in mind that he also does not provide essentials such as paper towels, toilet paper, dish pods, laundry detergent, or even enough bath towels (7 provided for 11 of us) even though he requires you to clean your towels and to load & start the dishwasher upon check out. While the home itself is nice, for the stressful booking process, additional fees, and lack of essential items, we give 3/5 stars. We wouldn't stay again.

Great stay!

The house was great - just as listed and very comfortable / kid friendly. There wasn't a whole lot to do in the area over the holidays but we enjoyed the house, trampoline and jungle gym.

Perfect family getaway!

This property was exactly as described and we had a wonderful family vacation. The house is super kid friendly (our kids love the bunk beds, all the toys and the amazing backyard). We had the best week and hope to return!

Great stay - perfect for kids

We had a great stay. They house was perfect for kids and it was amazing to have so much to do in the backyard / at the beach a short walk away. Would highly recommend for families. The owner was super responsive throughout our trip. Highly recommend!

Great stay

This is a lovely house with plenty of space, well appointed, high ceilings, etc. The back yard is great for spending all day by the pool, grilling, and kids playing. The neighborhood is typical Springs - quiet and serene. The house is easy walking distance to a small private beach on Gardiner's bay. The host is very responsive. Overall we had a great stay.

Close to the Beach

The home is perfectly located near the beach/bay although not ideal for swimming. Luckily the pool at the house made up for it.

We are a family with two boys, that live in Manhattan and love to come to East Hampton in the summers.

When we found the property, we thought this neighborhood was a hidden gem with easy access to the bay and the marina. It was the perfect beach neighborhood for kids to ride bikes or play in the dunes. It’s close proximity to East Hampton town and Montauk make it the perfect location for dining and shopping.

この宿泊施設の特徴

The house is always bright and airy with the 10 foot ceilings and sun directly hitting the pool all day. What makes the property unique is the private neighborhood. The kids can ride their bikes without ever leaving the area and we feel safe. We had a custom pirate ship built in the backyard where kids can hide out and play. There is also a trampoline and a basketball hoop. My favorite part of the house is sitting on the shaded deck, and watching the kids in the pool or backyard. The pool is fully fenced and the backyard is also fenced for pet owners.
