The property was clean and spacious. It had a lot of amenities - washer, dryer, dishwasher, large dining table. We had a question the morning after arrival & the host immediately answered. It is close to Silver Lake and Lake Michigan. It is across the street from little Silver Lake (walking distance). The Dunes were awesome to ride. My family and I recommend this property to others.

I am writing to formally document several issues encountered during our recent stay.1.Inoperable Second Bathroom: The upstairs toilet was broken and leaking into the first-floor bathroom, rendering the second bathroom unusable. The only mitigation provided was a small battery-powered fan, which ran for only a few hours before stopping. This left a strong, musty odor throughout the affected area and visible water damage.2.Late Disclosure of Issues: We were not informed of the bathroom problem until our arrival at 5pm which an hour after the scheduled check-in of 4pm—by the owners, who were still present at the property at that time.3.Disruption During Stay: On the morning of our departure, a plumber arrived an hour before our scheduled check-out, while we were in the process of packing and getting ready to leave. We were given no notice of this. 4.Unhygienic Conditions: Garbage had been left in the kitchen, producing a strong odor and attracting flies.These issues materially affected the comfort, cleanliness, and privacy of our stay. We request that this matter be addressed promptly, including a partial refund/compensation.

Silver lake sand dines

Stayed for the week to ride the dunes with friends. Hang out by the beach and just get together with friends. Great location for the dunes beautiful view of the lake. Very comfortable for our group, highly recommended.

The perfect family rental

My family and I had a wonderful time renting this property. The location was perfect. It was quite and a nice family setting. The home had ample sleeping and common areas and parking for large trucks and trailers. The home was very clean. The cleanest rental we’ve had in the area. We did have to reach out to the owner and her communication response was fantastic. Super nice. We can’t wait to come back.

Great home base

Nice and clean! Location was great for doing all the things that silver lake has to offer! Very spacious well maintained yard with nice and large patio. Loved the water hose for spraying Sandy feet and dog after a day at the beach!

We have been staying at this property each trip to Silver Lake for a few years and it never disappoints. It’s clean and well cared for. A great location with plenty of parking.

silver lake friends and family get away

We stayed for a week with 3 friends and my son and his 2 children stayed just for the weekend. We came to go riding at the dunes and the location was excellent. Very well equipped and comfortable property. Plenty of room for parking and a nice large patio.

Loved it!

This is our second time staying here - the house is lovely and spacious and on a very large lot. The neighborhood was quiet and we enjoyed the community beach. The kitchen is well stocked and supplied and the beds were all comfortable. The owner was very responsive and gracious as my son had some unintentional damage to the trash cabinet when it got stuck opening. Can’t wait for our next trip!

Great place, super close to the Dunes and “downtown” silver lake. Hosts were fantastic, home was exactly as advertised, very clean, everything you need for your trip. Would definitely stay again.

Wedding Weekend!

We stayed here over Memorial Day weekend with our bridesmaids and groomsmen. We got married on May 27 and it was such a perfect house to get to spend time with the ones we love during our special weekend!

Awesome location to sand dunes

This place was awesome! It was literally 2 minutes from the sand dunes. It also had all the utensils and everything you could think of this was the most well prepared house I have ever stayed at! This is definitely the place we will be staying at anytime we want to come up riding. Also LOTs of room to park. We had a 20ft trailer, 18 ft trailer, and 2 16 ft trailers and we fit perfectly.

Beautiful Home

This home was perfect & in a great location! We enjoyed this house a lot. It was right down the street from the dunes, had a lot of parking for all of us and our toys & there was stuff for the kids do there too! Lots of space for everyone to sleep and the kids enjoyed being at the dunes for their first time with us! And the fire pit made for perfect at night activities with the cold weather we had this past weekend! The owner was super responsive and nice when we were needing help! I would definitely book with them again😊
