Great villa in a wonderful location!

Seefeld was the first stop on our month-long driving vacation through Austria, the Czech Republic, and Germany. What a beautiful place! And Villa Caroline lived up to our expectations in every way: conveniently located a short walk to the city center, shopping, restaurants, and groceries. Ingrid met us at the villa and walked us through everything. The villa was immaculately clean and conveniently arranged for our party of two couples with the two bedrooms, two baths. The large deck was perfect for morning coffee and looking at the incredible views. Parking in the underground garage takes a bit of maneuverability and a vehicle that's not too large as the garage is tight and there's no nearby driveway or street parking. Once we figured out a back-and-forth move, we could exit the tight turn required to exit the garage with a minimum of hassle in our rental Ford Kuga (Ford Escape) but I wouldn't recommend anything larger. All in all, a wonderful stay in a great location!

Eine Woche Entspannung in Tirol

Wir haben sieben Nächte in der Villa Carolina gewohnt und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Schon die Begrüssung von Ingrid war herzlich. Für die Basisverpflegung, Milch, Wurst, Wein, hatte sie gesorgt. Das Appartement ist sehr gut ausgestattet, besonders den Gas-Kamin haben wir genossen. Der Blick aus dem Wohnzimmer auf die Berge ist phantastisch. Das Zentrum von Seefeld erreicht man in nur wenigen Gehminuten. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Sehr gut eingerichtete moderne und grosszügige Ferienwohnung.

Wir haben uns in der Wohnung sehr wohl gefühlt. Die viele Extras, der freundliche Empfang und Service und die zentrale Lage haben uns sehr gefallen.

Magical

This is our 4th stay at Villa Caroline and it never fails to be anything other than perfect. The apartment is spotlessly clean and equipped with everything needed for a perfect holiday with wonderful views of the alps from the lounge. Ingrid was there to meet us and make sure all was well. The apartment was very Christmassy, even presents under the tree which was lovely. The weather was perfect with plenty of snow. The well-stocked supermarket is also only 5 minutes away on foot, as are all the lovely bars and restaurants in the village centre. Hopefully we will return again and thank you Chris for letting us stay in your wonderful apartment.

Ein tolles Haus mit sehr gutem Service

Wir waren im Herbst 2017 in der Ferienwohnung. Wir waren mit zwei Erwachsenen und zwei kleinen Kindern dort. Das Haus ist in einem sehr guten Zustand, sehr ordentlich und genügt höheren Ansprüchen. es hat uns sehr gefreut, dass die Wohnung auch sehr gut ausgestattet ist. Wir können diese Wohnung ein Familien, die gleichzeitig Ruhe, Erholung und ein gewisses Flair erwarten, nur empfehlen

Wonferful stay!

Place was perfect for us! We had elderly parents and worked out great with lift. Kitchen was stocked with evetything you need. We did cook some of our breakfasts there. Ingrid had been nice enough to even lesve us some snacks. She also came one night when there was a minor issue with hot water heater which she quickly resolved. Perfect location for us as we ventured out every day on a different day trip. Would definitely stay there again!

Amazing!

We stayed in the wonderful Villa Caroline for a week with our 2 children and had an amazing time. Absolutely fantastic accommodation, so clean, spacious, well equipped and with stunning views. As others have stated, the photos really don't capture it and we were speechless when we first arrived! The weather was hot and sunny during our stay and so we were also able to take full advantage of the Villas huge outside space. Our first visit to Austria and so pleased we chose Seefeld, such a pretty place and everything is so accessible from the Villa, supermarket, shops, bars, restaurants, swimming pool, train station etc and obviously stunning walks, are all a 5-10 minute walk away - we didn't use the car once during our stay. Chris and all those that helped with the booking etc were amazing to deal with, so friendly and helpful, they really do want you to have a wonderful holiday. We have stayed in a lot of holiday rentals over the years, but I can honestly say Villa Caroline takes top prize and we will definitely return.

Review of stay in Feb 2017

We enjoyed staying at the beautiful apartment in the simply gorgeous Villa Caroline last week very much indeed. Everything was just perfect and we couldn´t have wished for a better week, nor a warmer welcome. I still can´t get over the amazing views from the lounge! Mountains everywhere you looked - amazing! Sometimes we struggled to leave to get out onto the piste, it´s so comfortable and cosy in the apartment. The apartment is spotlessly clean; the décor extremely tasteful; the towels and bed linen all crisp and fresh; and there was even a welcome basket with wine, ham, rolls and fruit etc. waiting for us in the kitchen upon our arrival. It was lovely and warm, thanks to the lovely fire in the lounge, underfloor heating in the bathrooms and ample radiators. We had plenty of space with our children so that we didn´t all feel on top of each other. They enjoyed the board games provided and were pleased to see that there were some English TV programmes they could watch thanks to the satellite TV. The location is very convenient, and is only a pleasant 5 to 10 minute walk to the lifts of the Geschwandtkopf, and only about 3 mins to the ski bus stop which services the ski areas of both Geschwandtkopf and Rosshütte. The well-stocked supermarket is also only 5 minutes away on foot, as are all the lovely bars and restaurants of the centre of the village. Even the swimming pool and ice-rink are only a 5 minute walk away. Thank you again for everything - we will definitely be back, and have actually already re-booked! I would warmly recommend Villa Caroline to anyone looking for a lovely skiing holiday in a beautiful setting.

Perfect Seefeld Apartment

We were lucky enough to spend Christmas week here. Seefeld is a lovely place and the apartment was perfect in every way. Wonderful welcome from Ingrid, lovely welcome pack/wine and even Christmas presents under the tree! The apartment has everything needed for a comfortable self catering holiday and was spotlessly clean! Fabulous views of the Alps and very convenient for the town centre and all facilities. Very friendly helpful owners. Don't hesitate!

Excellent

The accommodation was excellent-clean, well equipped and in a great location. There is plenty of walks within easy reach of the apartment and lots of bars and restaurants within a 5-minute walk -we ate in a different place every night during our 2 week stay. Seefeld is in a stunning location pictures could never do it justice. We are already planning to return.

Gorgeous Apartment

The Apartment was exactely like the descritption in the Internet - just perfect and ideal for 4 adults. Beautiful rooms, well equipped with a lot of helpful utilities. Very comfortable bed and two big and wonderful bathrooms. The Location was really perfect, close to the Center and to the start of the cross-country skiing. Ingrid made us a warm welcoming and a good Job - thanks for the nice welcome package for a good Holiday Start. We hope we could enjoy this great Apartment another time.

Absolutely Amazing

I don't know where to start . Everything about this apartment was superb. Location is great just a short stroll to large supermarket and main town. The views of the mountains from the huge balcony and through the large windows were simply breathtaking. As for the interior - the photos do not do this place justice. From the polished wood floors to the comfy furniture scattered with throws and cushions , a lot of thought has gone into this place. The kitchen has everything you could possibly need and both bathrooms are of an extremely high standard. Everything you could need on a holiday break is here from coffee makers to the little touches like sewing repair kits and spare light bulbs !! The apartment was also immaculate when we received the keys , cleaned to a very high standard by Ingrid. Beds comfy with plenty of wardrobe space in both bedrooms. Gas log effect fire very cosy at night and the TV had plenty of British channels for all you soap fans ! Plus plenty of dvd's to choose from. Really struggling to find any negatives to be honest. But to add some balance , the living room chandelier is a little low for anyone over 5'10'' and one cup and one glass had tiny little chips. The fact these are the only things I can mention says it all really. If you are reading this review to help you decide if you should book this apartment my advice would be BOOK BOOK BOOK . Outstanding apartment to which I would return in a heartbeat. Colin. PS - sitting in the living room with the fire on and a glass of wine at dusk with those awesome mountain views is heaven !

Homely and luxurious. Stunning views!

The property is amazing and fulfills every requirement. Great views, convinant location, top resort, and close to evrything within the resort. It's clean and very well maintained, we even got bath robes! We highly recommend this property and can't wait to book it again soon for the winter season! We never had a bad meal in Seefeld, two of our favs are Il sole great food cooked from scratch everything so enjoy the wine why you wait! The Kosterbleu cellar restaurant amazing experience for a very special occasion as its on the pricey side but well worth it! Hirer the mountain bikes (electric) as you'll get around faster! Loads of walks buy a larger map from the tourist office and all routes are marked and sign posted amazing, beautiful place and the apartment adds to this. Chris and the team could have been more helpful and Ingrid was great!

Comfortable, well-equipped and wonderful views

We really enjoyed our week here. Villa Caroline is a few minutes stroll from the centre of Seefeld and enjoys wonderful 180' panoramic views from the terrace. It is very, very well-equipped and has everything you might need to prepare meals and eat in. Fantastically comfortable lounge, brilliant bathroom and shower room and good beds. Excellent TV as well, although reception occasionally suffers. The surrounding area is fabulous, with stunning walks and scenery on your doorstep. I'd have no hesitation in recommending this to anyone and would happily return.

Wish I was still there!

This was our first stay in Villa Caroline and Seefeld and we loved it. Chris was very easy and reliable to deal with. Ingrid met us on arrival with the keys, a tour around the apartment and a well stocked welcome basket of food. The apartment is absolutely lovely with everything thought of to make your stay comfortable (e.g bathrobes, shower gels, soap, tons of DVDs, games etc) The whole apartment is extremely well maintained and clean. I have no hesitation in recommending Chris's Villa Caroline apartment. Seefeld itself is very picturesque, clean and about 10 minutes walk from the apartment. It has lots of restaurants serving great Austrian food . We liked Sailer's restaurant, The Braukeller & Il Sole Pizzeria. We enjoyed the Olympic swimming pool, the Leutasch Gorge, Mittenwald and it's cable car and the antics of the owner at the Wildmoos Alm. Thank you to Chris and family for a great stay. We hope to return!

Absolutely perfect for a holiday in Seefeld

We stayed in Seefeld for 6 nights the end of April 2015 and this was the ideal apartment. Seefeld is a great area for exploring the Alps - shops and restaurants in walking distance but at the same time you feel 'away from it all' amongst the mountains and some beautiful walks from the villa. The villa is beautiful - Ingrid was there when we arrived and had prepared a basket of lovely food. Very warm and cosy with comfortable sofas and beds. High quality luxury bathrooms with underfloor heating. And beautiful views! Massive balcony with seating area. We will definitely be back. Felt very at home there. Thank you Chris for all the information and advice before we went. We recommend: Stubeier Gletscher, the Innsbruck Nordkettebahn, the Alpine coaster in Imst and some of the beautiful walks around Seefeld.

Relaxing winter family holiday

- We knew the apartment from last year and everything was still the same regarding the listing description (location, layout, facilities....) We just needed another additional bed (not anymore a baby bed but a bigger one) for our second child which was exchanged immediately without any problems. - When we arrived at the assigned time (I think it was 4 pm) she was not yet finished with cleaning but that was not a problem for us. The apartment was clean and tidy. The only thing which was not clean was the washing machine and the tumble drier. It was a mess because the people which used it before did not clean the machines and it was not controlled by the manager. We cleaned it as good as possible before using it but there was no cleaning stuff which we could use. - The customer service was good as well - Yes we would recommend this apartment to others - Because we have two baby we only went sledding (no skiing, no cross-country) but it was fun The small lake is beautiful to walk around By train you reach several other destinations for a day-trip Seefeld is an ideal place to go as a family with children

Cosy but spacious, perfect Winter Chalet

First time at Villa Caroline and we had a great holiday.We were initially a party of 4 adults plus a baby with two more adults joining us midweek. We have been visiting Seefeld for a number of years staying in various other Hotels and Chalets, but this place topped the lot ! Great location only 5 mins walk from Supermarkets and bars and 10 mins to the bottom of Geschwandkopf lift. The owner (Chris) and manager (Ingrid) could not have been more helpful...even providing us with a welcome grocery pack. Very comfy rooms/beds, great showers and a great balcony with stunning views. Would highly recommend it. Cant wait to come back, Thanks very much Chris and Ingrid. Simon Johnson + Family

Amazing property in an amazing village!

The villa was perfect in every sense. It was beautifully laid out with everything needed for a comfortable stay. It was extremely clean and well prepared and even had a beautiful Christmas tree and gifts for our young children from Santa waiting for us! It was walking distance from the main part of the town and had picture perfect views from the main rooms. We honestly couldn't fault it. We had an amazing time at Villa Caroline and would recommend anyone wanting a holiday in the area to stay here, you won't find better!

Comfortable, spacious and warm with great views

This neat and clean apartment is a very short walk from the town centre with supermarkets, tourist information and restaurants. We were two couples and so having the two lovely bathrooms with plenty of hot water proved a worthwhile choice. Seefeld is a good location for walking the nearby trails and around the beautiful Leutasch valley. Just over the border in Germany is the lovely town of Mittenwald. The trout farm on the Weidachsee lake near Seewald offers excellent fresh and smoked fish. The kitchen in the apartment is well-equipped so eating-in is a pleasure, especially convenient as Austrian wines are very good value! Seefeld railway station is a short walk from the apartment so this offers excellent travel opportunities to nearby Innsbruck and elsewhere. Austria is such a well-ordered clean country, people are very friendly and this makes for a wonderful holiday destination in all seasons of the year. Booking arrangement via Chris Clegg in the UK and Ingrid/Karen in Austria worked very efficiently. Recommended!

Amazing Apartment

Highly recommend this apartment in picturesque Seefeld. It is done out to a very high standard with lovely views from the enormous balcony. The apartment is fairly close to town centre in a peaceful location. The table tennis table downstairs was great.
