This is a great and spacious property!It is in a perfect location and the two golf carts make it easy to get around. This was our second stay there and we will definetly be back.

The location is wonderful and we always enjoy the golf carts. We have stayed in a nearby unit many times. This is the first for this one. Noticeable difference in cleanliness. The top blankets in the bed were noticeably dirty and soiled. The bar glasses and shelf were very dusty. We had to wash the blankets and glasses before use. The stains and dirt came out of the blankets and were much better after being washed. There are several items needing repair. If these things are remedied then I would highly recommend.

Great vacation!

The house was perfect for our baseball vacation! We had 3 families, 12 total including 6 kids and it was the perfect space. Very clean and easy access to beach and pool with the golf carts which also made it a lot of fun for the kids to ride in! Would definitely stay here again!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. It was very clean and stayed plenty cool during our hot July days. Location was excellent - short golf cart ride to the beach, the Village, and Grande Blvd. Plenty of space for 6 people. Would definitely consider staying here again.

My siblings and I took our first beach trip together and this house fit the need. Open space, large family area, beautiful outdoor area and just minutes to the beach. Absolutely beautiful.

We really enjoyed our stay here. Have stayed in other locations in same property and this was a great one. Bed set up was nice with the extra bunk room space. The 2 golf carts is a major bonus with lots of young adults. There were some issues with cleanliness which were adressed immediately by the host. The location feels like the owners must stay there and feels homey and comfortable. Would certainly consider staying here again

We had a wonderful time at the property! It was beautifully maintained, easily accessible, and spotlessly clean. The entire family loved staying there. The house featured an impressive surround sound system that connected seamlessly throughout the house.The kitchen was fully equipped with all the necessary utensils and cookware, making it easy to prepare meals for the family. The golf carts were a fantastic convenience, allowing us to navigate the property with ease.Overall, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely return. The property exceeded our expectations in every way.

Ever thing was real nice and we all had a great time! Nothing but trouble with the warn out golf carts! That was the only disappointment we experienced. We saw lots of real nice golf carts, sorry that we didn’t have one. All in all it was a great stay!

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We had all our family with us for the week and had an exceptionally great time. The accommodations were perfect for 3 couples and 6 kids. We will definitely like to rent this exact condo again next summer. There were only a couple of minor details that weren't 100%. One being that the lights didn't work on one of the golf carts so it was difficult when we went to the wharf and traveled home after dark. Also, the condo was equipped with two toasters and neither one worked. Like I said, these are minor things but thought you might like to know.

Assessment of property

Pubic hairs were found on the bathroom floor. Porch furniture not wiped down Top of toilet tank was not wiped down While I realize this is a rental the furniture very much needed to be replaced (sofa, living room chairs) Front bedroom mattress was sloping. All mattresses need to be replaced. Front toilet handle needs to be replaced. You would have to jiggle it to stop if from running. Mold in front shower.

We were not made aware of any issues during your stay and regret that we were not able to address your concerns while you were out enjoying the beach. We are always happy to send our housekeeping staff back to your unit to ensure you are completely satisfied. Nevertheless, we are happy to report that our unit has been deep cleaned, the toilet has been repaired and our inspector is scheduled to evaluate and replace any old mattresses. Again, we are so sorry that you were not completely satisfied and hope you will accept our sincerest apologies. We hope to see you again for an improved stay!

September 2019 Stay

Disappointed and will not rent again. Floors not swept, sand in every room. Hair in tubs. Discovered on our last day that the A/C filter was stopped up. Looked like it had not been changed in a year. By this point the a/c was running all day. The smaller golf cart has little to no brakes. Dangerous to drive. Furniture on screen porch was filthy, we did not use. We love the convenience of the Sandestin resort, but will not rent this property again.

Ongoing problems....

Rating Details: The property manager was adequately helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was more than happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: There is no doubt that this is a great open space for our week stay with 2 families and kids. However, the maintenance issues from the start were stressful to deal with on vacation. Upon arrival the refrigerator was nowhere near a temperature safe for food. We spent 3 days buying ice and keeping our perishable items in coolers. The Master bedroom toilet was leaking water underneath and took 2 days to finally get repaired, Golf carts were not charging upon arrival which ended up being a circuit breaker inside that we figured out ourselves from the electrical panel, the smaller golf cart head lights didn't work(found that out the hard way and got pulled over by a security guard)and a couple days before the end of our stay, an exterminator knocked on our door because the roof above the bedroom balcony had hundreds of bees obviously establishing a habitat!

Our records indicate that ice was delivered to you upon receiving notification that the refrigerator was not cooling properly and we would like to apologize if you bought your own, as we would have been more than happy to provide you with ice for the remainder of your vacation. To avoid any future issues, the toilet has been replaced, the refrigerator has been serviced and there is a brand new four passenger golf cart. We hope you will accept our sincerest apologies as we look forward to welcoming you back to the beach for an improved experience!

I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We enjoy the area in the Sandestin Resort. However, this property was older and not as well maintained as previous properties that we have rented. My issues revolve around general maintenance as well as cleanliness. The floors still had sand on them. The tubs had hair in them. One tub was stopped up but a call to the property manager and that was fixed. On our last day we discovered that the A/C filter was horribly stopped up. It looked like it had not been changed in a year. This caused the unit to run 24hours/day. The smaller golf cart had very little brakes. This is dangerous to drive. Overall, this unit needs a deep clean and better maintenance.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Very spacious condo. Great location with short golf cart ride to beach and other amenities. Refrigerator failed during stay but management team took care of us after sending in their tech to evaluate the issue and credited a refund for the food that had spoiled. If you don’t like echoes when talking than this open concept condo is not for you. Heated pool was clean and never really crowded. Overall we had a great time and would stay again on the Sandestin resort.

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The unit is in a great location, close to the beach, walking paths, golf and restaurants. The bedding and furniture in good condition, master bedroom bed very comfortable. Bathrooms were clean, kitchen clean, appliances clean. The washer and dryer a plus. I feel as though the tile floors and area rugs were not clean, the area rugs shedding bad, very dusty. The ceiling fan blades, especially in the 2 spare bedrooms were filthy, covered with black dust/lint. The shutters throughout the condo were very dusty. The 4 seat golf cart seats were very dirty, stained with mildew.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our first time to stay in San Destin for a family vacation. I was a bit worried after reading reviews that the golf carts were not going to work. I knew we would need both for a family of 12! The day before arrival I received a message that the 6 seater was not working. They secured another one for us (a 4 seater instead of a 6 seater) but all was well. Communication with them was good. I would stay there again!

Enjoyed this area of the resort! Not on the beach but not too far of a walk from it. Bunk beds in the loft area for the kids was a plus. Would stay again!

This is our 4th time to Sandestin Resort and I can say this was our least favorite location. Here’s a breakdown of the pros/cons: Pros: close to beach and pool Cons: - Golf carts weren’t fully operational - very disappointing - had to call for 2nd cart to be fixed and even then wasn’t totally fixed - Wi-Fi would randomly shut itself off and signal was very weak - Upstairs shower was a dribble - zero water pressure - Extension cords for golf carts laid on the stairs to get to the front door; a constant tripping hazard that you couldn’t move or the golf carts wouldn’t charge I am aware that golf carts are an added bonus and the contract says they are not responsible for ensuring they are operational, however, when you advertise 2 golf carts for a place that sleeps 12 people, you create an expectation. No matter what, there’s disappointment when they don’t work. Overall, not our favorite and wouldn’t recommend staying here if you have other options.
