Absolutely amazing stay!!!!The beach view was everything we hoped for and more. Loved that the property has multiple hot tubs and multiple swimming pools, indoor and outdoor. Condo was very clean, quiet and furnished with everything you need to prepare a meal.

All in all, this was okay. The view was incredible, the AC blew cold, bed was pretty comfortable. The condo was semi dated but nothing to complain about. The customer service of the actual Majestic Sun facility was not good. Felt like any question I asked, I got a nasty look for. Made me feel like an idiot for asking. Reached out to the host & she couldn’t really offer any real solution & made it a point to say nobody else had this problem before, like it negates what I experienced. However, VRBO direct customer service was very sympathetic & helpful. Had to ask for check in instructions when I was already there & was told I should’ve had them already. Why would I ask if I had them, but okay. I liked how close everything such as food & shopping was to the condo. The pool area was nice & spacious & great sunshine exposure all day. All in all, it was just alright. Won’t return, but enjoyed the memories anyways.

Excellent location/area and great little condo!

Excellent location to both the beach and local restaurants. A big plus for us was how walkable this area is to restaurants bars, etc. Very clean condo; will stay here again!

The place was excellent. Excellent value. Great view and location. Walking distance to bars and restaurants. The beach is within 509 feet. The unit was as described. It was a bit dated but that didn’t matter to us.

Everything at Majestic Sun was nice. Beautiful balcony views of the emerald water. Easy access to the clean beach. Plenty of good food options within walking distance.

Can’t miss

We loved this place and next time we head that way we will go back to the same one if it’s available! The bed was incredibly comfortable, the view was breathtaking, and it was an overall great experience!

Great location!

Great location! We stayed in the Miramar Beach area and avoided the traffic in Destin. The bed was comfortable and the condo was equipped with the basics needed to get started with our stay.

Very nice apartment, convenient location, right in front of the beach, and amazing views. Super Comfortable for a family of 3 as ours. The resort also offers a very nice swimming pool to complement with the stunning beach of the Emerald Coast.Check in and check out process was super smooth. Nothing to complain about

The place does have a nice beach view, but there is a very busy road between the building and the beach, so the only time you can hear the ocean is late at night. The hot tub, pool, and exercise room are nice. The place had been cleaned well enough, but it's really showing it's age, and lack of modernization and care. Formica was peeling off the side of the counter top. Drapes had tears in them. Mold was growing in the showers and vents. Towel racks were dented. Sinks had rust. Paint has worn off the bottom of the closet doors. The dishwasher racks were rusting out, and the machine was extremely loud. One of the walls looked like a kid got to it with a hammer. The coffee table had a sharp chip in it that could cut a child's hand. One shower wouldn't drain well, so within a couple of minutes we were standing in an inch or two of soapy water. I texted the owner, and because it was a weekend I was told to put a cup of dishwasher liquid in it and let it sit for a while before washing it down. That would have meant a trip to the store for me to take care of their plumbing problem, so the next day they came by with some Drano and got it fixed. I think if you're a college party crew and are sharing the expense among friends this place might be fine, but my wife and I are used to much nicer accommodations for the amount of money we paid. We won't be staying here again.

We are sorry for this guest experience. The picture adequality reflects the condition of the unit, including the road in front of the unit. The road is a small two-lane road, with a speed limit of 25, unfortunately we are unable to control the noise levels of the road. When the guest initially contacted us about the drain we were closed, and offered a temporary solution of trying dishwashing liquid, which has worked in the past to loosen clogs. The unit had dishwasher soap in the unit, so there was no need to make a trip to the store. Although, we were closed the following day. I personally came to the unit, on my day off, and used Drano on the drain. You reported no further issue, so we assumed it was fixed. It is disappointing that you chose to make it sound like we ignored the issue and did not resolve it, when that is clearly not the case. We take guests complaints and issues very seriously and act as quickly as possible. We feel that the $200 a night rate for beach front accommodations is extremely reasonable, considering your stay was during spring break, which is peak season. The unit accommodates 6 comfortably; with 2 full bathrooms, a standard kitchen, and unobstructed Gulf view, you would be unlikely to find a hotel, blocks away from the beach for that price point.

Fun for our family of 6

The place was clean and well stocked with dishes. The beds were comfortable. The view was amazing. We enjoyed the swimming pool and the very short walk to the beach. We liked that the resort was family oriented and hardly noticed the spring breakers . The washer and dryer were having it located within the apartment. Overall we had a superb stay and look forward to coming again with the exception of the 14 hour drive.

You are definitely correct about the view, it IS truly AMAZING! The indoor/outdoor pool is great! Majestic Sun is very strict with their age requirement when it comes to Spring Break. Complex was nice, surrounding area is nice and very clean. Pools were very nice. Security was great. Easy in and out process. Hated the wrist bands, but not a deal breaker. Our condo could have been better equipped with cooking utensils and was somewhat dated, however, it was enjoyable.

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review! Your opinion is important to us! The pools are nice, especially the indoor pool. Wristbands are required as an extra security measure but are easy to take off when you are not using the pool and fitness room. I wish you had contacted us about the cooking utensils. We would have been happy to replace those for you. I will have someone from our office get those replaced. We would love to have you stay with us again.

My stay at Majestic sun

I enjoyed my stay at Majestic Sun but the furniture needs an update. Looks old and the sofa has a bad smell. There's a mold smell too inside of condominium. But at the top of everything the view is breathless. The pool and hot tub are amazing too. Very nice building. I would stay again here but in a different unit. or in the same one but with new furniture.

Cleanliness not good. Couch worn out and uncomfortable

Sandy floors. Bed bugs. We were covered in bites. Cable was not working for the last day. We have used this condo complex several times in the past and never had anything like this .

Great location!

We came to Miramar Beach to celebrate our 35th Anniversary. The location was excellent, the view was perfect and the weather cooperated while we were there. The condo was clean, but there was a very strong sour smell when we entered the condo. My husband changed the air filter and we bought plug ins and air freshener which helped. It is pretty outdated, but the electronics are nice. On our last night to stay there, our code to the door did not work so we had to contact management. It was very quick response and was able to get it resolved immediately. Overall, we had a wonderful trip. This is the third time we have stayed at Majestic Sun.

The worst apartment so far for me…

From the moment I entered the apartment, I felt a kind of depression!First of all, the room is too dark and the worst thing is that they don't have enough closets or drawers for clothes! I had nowhere to put all our clothes and I had to keep them in bags! They only had 4 hangers in the closet! I had to go buy hangers so I could at least put a few clothes in the closet! Then the bedding is terrible, thank God I always bring my own bedding with me because of things like this! They have some heavy winter quilt on the bed, as if it's winter there!Then they don't have some basic things in the kitchen, like a cutting board, and all the small pans, it's horrible!The furniture looks dirty and everything is old, you can't sleep on the sofa it's so uncomfortable!You get one garbage bag and that's it! The only positive thing that this apartment has is the balcony, which is the only place I sat!I've been going to Majestic Sun since 2017 and every apartment so far has been great, but this one was horrible and never again!

Great!

This property was perfect for my family vacation! Great view off of the balcony of the ocean, close proximity to shopping and restaurants, and couldn’t be any closer to the beach! The resort pool could have been maintained better as there were some pavers around the pool that were missing or loose but otherwise we very much enjoyed our stay!

Amazing location property feels dated.

Overall amazing property. Amazing location directly across from the beach.. close to restaurants and shopping as well. Wonderful indoor and outdoor pools and two hot tubs as well. We rented the one bedroom and it was ok. Full kitchen with great working appliances and plenty of cookware. We did have to reclean silverware and some pans. But mostly for our preference. The master bedroom furniture is dated and showing some wear. The bed was old but comfortable enough.. Overall would highly recommend.. would be better if they remodeled some to give a more up to date feel.
