Gloucester house

Very comfortable property with a well equipped kitchen which made eating in easy for us. Convenient location for visiting Gloucester and the region.

Lovely property and great communication

For some reason the email we received from VRBO did not contain any of the necessary check in information for the house but luckily I was able to contact the host without any issue to get the code for the key box. When we had a couple other questions responses were very quick as well. The beds were very comfortable, the kitchen was well equipped, the neighborhood was nice and quiet, it was a quick trip to Aldi’s. You definitely need a car to access Bath or the villages in the Cotswolds but this home is a great home base. It does not have air conditioning so plan to open windows and use the two fans that are provided if you visit in the summer. You may also want to bring your own clothes line to dry your clothes. I would stay here again.

Great house to visit the Cotswolds

Very fine clean house in a quiet neighbourhood. All is there. Beds are fine. Private parking. Supermarkets, restaurants, all within a 15 minutes drive. Lots of cottage villages nearby and good place to visit Oxford. Contact with host Anita was perfect. Nothing to complain.

Wonderful family getaway

It was a lovely long weekend away. This is our first visit to Cotswolds and it was just lovely to have a home away from home. My favourite area of the house is the fully equipped modern kitchen. Although not within walking distance to central Gloucester, it’s a short drive to town centre and we can drive to most of the lovely villages around. Aldi, though, is within walking distance! The place is clean and modern. I would have preferred a shower screen so that we don’t wet the toilet area when we showered, but that’s not a major issue. Wifi is strong. The host is very responsive to our requests . The platform did not list the actual address of the property, so we had to ask the host directly. Thank you for a great weekend!

Nice apartment but questionable host

We had an amazing time at the apartment. However the host accused us falsely of staying an extra day and demanded that we pay. Despite evidence of the exact date and time we left the apartment, she still insisted twice that we pay for the extra day, only for her to check her video footage, then told us to leave it, no apologies. She also falsely accused us of damaging her bathroom window blind asking us to pay £250 for it. We paid for soiled bed linens which she requested for. On arrival at the apartment, we notified her of the smashed TV remote control we met on the coffee table which she replaced. Because we refused to pay for the bathroom window blind we didn’t damage, she then accused us of smashing the remote control. My advice is to look keenly around the apartment on arrival and report every damaged item to the host as soon as you notice it.

Fantastic house

Since booking the property, my experience has been a positive. The host was very helpful and informative, answering all my questions promptly. The check in was seemless and easy. The property itself was clean and exactly as listed. There were plenty of things to make the property homely and it worked for our group (6 ladies) but could easily work for a family too. The location is good- not far from the docks or Cheltenham. All in all, a really positive stay.

Stayed her in November, booked again a great property, good location, only 20mins of bus to cheltenham Anita is a great host, always on hand if you need her Would definitely recommend this property and would definitely stay here again when in cheltenham

Lovely short break away

Loved the house we had stayed in so spacious and home from home. Anita the owner was very helpful with questions about the area. We all enjoyed it and definitely recommend it.
