We had an amazing time at the apartment. However the host accused us falsely of staying an extra day and demanded that we pay. Despite evidence of the exact date and time we left the apartment, she still insisted twice that we pay for the extra day, only for her to check her video footage, then told us to leave it, no apologies. She also falsely accused us of damaging her bathroom window blind asking us to pay £250 for it. We paid for soiled bed linens which she requested for.
On arrival at the apartment, we notified her of the smashed TV remote control we met on the coffee table which she replaced.
Because we refused to pay for the bathroom window blind we didn’t damage, she then accused us of smashing the remote control.
My advice is to look keenly around the apartment on arrival and report every damaged item to the host as soon as you notice it.
