Our extended family stayed in this home for a week in June 2026. We had more than enough room. The place had everything we needed - including a freezer to store the 70 lbs of fish we caught. The kitchen and dining area were very well equipped, even for our making Halibut Olympia from scratch! The views off the balcony were glorious, especially in the mornings when the magpies and bald eagles were out. The place was also nicely located near downtown and there is even a coffee shop within walking distance.

Another beautiful property with views and easy access to float plane launch, stores (Safeway & Walmart), and "downtown" which on Kodiak Island is very quaint House is about one mile from harbor, where there is a minimal, brewery, Nuniaq (breakfast/lunch), Henry's, Aquamarine restaurant (side-by-side), bank, info center, all near harbor and easy walking distance. Property, was roomy, clean, and allowed for parking on or off street. Overall, a very relaxing and enjoyable stay, and the owners were easy to communicate with. Great stay!

Kodiak Visit

The property is in a great centralized location with convenient access to all that Kodiak has to offer. Views from back huge deck were amazing. The home was well laid out and was very comfortable with every amenity that you would likely need. Home owner was available and very responsive to any questions we had. She also offered very good recommendations for activities and restaurants. I would definitely rent this property again.

6 guys and the house was perfect

Great, I don't know if I missed it but it would have been nice to know about the roll away. We thought it only had 4 beds so we brought air mattresses with....the house is great.. I'm assuming you know but there is a leak under the kitchen sink. There was a container there

I'm glad you enjoyed your stay. The house has 3 queen beds and 2 twins with 2 roll out trundles underneath. I did not know about a leak under the sink so thank you for letting me know. I will have a contractor look at it. Thank you so much for telling me! - Miranda

I enjoy traveling and meeting new people. I fell in love with Alaska's beauty and the people who live here. I purchased this house in 2017 and hope you enjoy your stay.

この宿泊施設のオーナーになった理由

I chose this house because of the spectacular view of the channel where seals, otters, and orcas come through. I also liked its location as it's a short 1/2 mile walk to downtown restaurants, marina, and to close to nearby hiking trails.
