Theresa and Charlie were very friendly and helpful. They even let me charge my EV from their welder outlet!The cottage is comfortable, clean, and quiet.The place is great for dogs!

The place was a little farther out of town than I expected and it didn’t have a stove which I needed. I told the owner this and found another place that suited me better. She was very accommodating and refunded me for leaving early so I could get another place.

This was my first VRBO rental and I was pretty happy overall with the place. The cabin is in a beautiful area of Kodiak. Easy to find and not far from town. Quick drive to end of main road and you’ll find a nice beach. Quiet. Lots of trees, greenery and bubbling water surrounding the little cabin. Owner was quick to respond to a question. Unexpected amenities not listed in description like a microwave, countertop oven and hot plate were great. Plenty of parking space. The bed was fine- plenty of blankets. There was a monitor heater if you got cold. . Place was clean. Lots more space than a regular hotel room for sure! My only issue was the tight bathroom - serviceable but small. IMHO the rain shower head was too big for a 3x3 ? (SMALL) )shower stall. Great I guess if you wash your hair every shower but hard to finagle if you don’t want a wet head. Our dog loved the window to look out. Loved it was pet friendly and the owner kept us informed if a bear was spotted in the neighborhood. We never saw one but with the dog we were glad to get notice to be on the look out!
