Castravalva Villa : Elegance and Comfort with a View of Lake Como
Located in the historic village of Bonzanigo, Tremezzina, Castravalva Villa is perfect for families and groups of up to 8 people. A few steps from the Lake Como Greenway, it offers spectacular views of Villa Balbianello, Villa Carlotta and Villa Melzi.
The house is spread over two floors and combines historic charm with modern comfort. On the ground floor there is a large living room with 8 seats, an equipped kitchen and a dining area. The main terrace is perfect for outdoor dining. On the first floor, three tastefully decorated bedrooms and an elegant bathroom. A fourth bedroom offers greater privacy.
The strategic location allows you to easily explore Lake Como. The village retains its authentic Lombard charm with cobbled streets and historic houses. Nearby are Lenno, Menaggio and in front of you crossing Lake Bellagio and high-quality restaurants such as the renowned “The Wings of Alice”.

We had a wonderful stay! The home was in a beautifully scenic area that was walkable to both Tremezzo and Lenno. The rooms were large and spacious and the bathrooms all cleaned and well maintained. We stayed here with our friends prior to our wedding in Tremezzo, and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The hosts were communicative and the check-in process was incredibly easy with remote identity confirmation.

This property was a beautiful farmhouse with lots of space and the views of Lago di Como were priceless. The village was charming and the church and tower bell nearby was beautiful. I did request the hosts to change the descriptions to be more accurate for 3 things: 1) the house only had one full bathroom which was not enough for a group of 8. The bathtub in the bedroom was not helpful and did not count as a full bathroom. 2) parking was very difficult; 3) the walk to get to the house is quite steep and challenging and if anyone in your group has any health issues, this house is not ideal for you.
